PRO-IMMIGRANT ADS BEING PROMOTED

I wanted to advise everyone of ads that are being run to promote the argument that "immigration, even illegal immigration, is necessary for the prosperity of America.  Mr. Lionel Sosa promotes these ads and says they have been run before and helped "defeat some of the anti-immigrant folks out there."

Check out a  recent Readers Digest.  A heart warming story about an illegal guy who went to med school and is now a brain surgeon.   The underlying message is that he would have never made it in his native Mexico so his coming here illegally was ok because he is a brain surgeon and all....   He says in the article he knew what he did was wrong but did it anyway, etc.  He is one in a thousand who "makes it".  I was a probation officer for 25 years and saw the 999 who didn't "make it".  They are not being deported, either.  Venerable Readers Digest....  Also saw the same kind of story fairly recently in Parade Magazine in my Sunday paper.  If I object, I am a racist, facist anti-hispanic pig.  How did this get so turned around in our country? 

I think it got turned around because we have so many pro-illegal groups in this country who use the "white guilt" thing and it has worked like a charm.  It would be good to research some of these groups to include: National Council La Raza, Mecha, Maldef and then to research the ridiculous number of Mexican Consuls we have working in this country.   All are working to aid illegal immigration into this country and doing everything they can to thwart OUR attempts to control our borders and protect our own country.  Their power they have is frightening.

2008 The Year of the Illegal Alien

It just hit me. 2008 is the year of the Illegal Alien. We have three (3) prospective presidential candidates and they are all pro-amnesty, all Senators who have sat in the Senate and done nothing for citizens -- everything for illegal aliens. It is so bizarre it's hard to fathom.

Twenty (20) million new citizens will flatten Medicare and Social Security but Hillary has already thought of that. She will give us all socialized medicine whether we like it or not. When I think of all those years I paid into Social Security I get sick. All my tax dollars gone so that we can become a North American Union, a region to bolster our Spanish speaking citizens and care for them because we are compassionate and because we have no real say in government.

Not one of those Senators has the guts to tell Americans the ultimate price we will pay. Already our dollar is being called a third-world currency, we are forced to subsidize a "foreign country" with our taxes and really stupid, ignorant Americans go about their daily business without a clue because our MSM is owned by those who support our new government.

Everyone should be asking: Who stole American government and what can we do about it today!

Oh, joy! I just watched one of the ads on the link posted and was advised that if America was a Latino country we would be the world's 3rd largest Latino country with 45 million Latinos.

Our own country is forcing the displacement of whites/citizens, flooding us with Latinos and MAKING US PAY FOR IT.

What word or phrase describes such a hideous, lying, underhanded program?

I tried to find immigrant quotas on the web but can't make heads or tails out of their garbage.

If we have 20 million illegal immigrants and if just half of them are from Mexico let's tell our Congress that Americans want to be fair and allow 10 million in from every country throughout the world immediately.  We might just as well load up and destroy the American dream for everyone.  At least this way no one else will want to come over.

Let's be compassionate and giving to everyone, not just to those who are close enough to walk over illegally!

it is being done all over, in different ways by different groups... look at the products you buy at the stores almost  all now have labels in spanish as english...... hmmmm  wonder how many products you can find on mexican store shelfs with english labels ,,, look at the english speaking tv we still have left....most new shows have at the begining that they are produced in spanish too,  kids cartoons are being designed to spread the spanish lanquage to our kids who should be learning the lanquage of our country.... more and more ads are featuring hispanic actors..... home improvement channels  have almost all contractors and workers that are hispanic...they are taking over  jobs in every field accross all lines and when they get the amnesty for the 10-50 million illegals here already they will control who gets elected at every level including congress and president.

Illegal immigrants are a drain on our economy, our schools, our overburdened healthcare system and our prisons.  Uphold the laws and shut down businesses that hire illegals.

Coming from a legal immigrant (Hispanic) family, I am outraged by the continual BS churned out in the Spanish press drumming up sympathy for lawbreakers.  I am more outraged by the fools who fall for it.  Uphold our laws and let in the people who will wait in line want to obey our laws.

Thank you Brooklyn Hispanic.  I know other Hispanics who feel the same as you do.  Do you ever talk to them and ask why they came and what they intend to do?  

What Spanish newspapers do you read and what do they say.  I know sympathy and compassion are their new call words because all the economic and environmental facts are against them.  While Obama, Clinton and McCain are for amnesty they never get anywhere close to telling us what the impact of 20-30 million new citizens will be.

Why can't anyone just give us the truth?

And in my opinion, respecting this nations laws and sovernty makes you and your family 100% citizens - exactly the same as anyone else, which is something illegals can never be. Even if they are given amnesty, they still - now and forever - will have that tarnish on their status here.
