Very good read, though I feel sorry for the citizen at the end who thinks his sons are in Iraq fighting for our freedom when Iraq never did anything to take it away.

Instructions on how to be a neocon.
I support the troops who still have moral values, but I don't worship them. I do not support the occupation of Iraq. I believe the opposite of anything George W. Bush says and support Chuck Baldwin for President. I am a Mormon, Libertarian, 9/11 Truther, Alex Jones listener, Ron Paul supporter, and proud of it!

I am brought to mind of a commercial that was on TV years ago. It was about our environment. Iron Eyes Cody was dressed in Indian attire and he was looking at the sorry state of the environment and a lone tear was running down his cheek. The last survivor of a once great society, powerless to make difference. Powerless to turn it back to the way it was. Surrounded by people of a different kind with different values. These values were not in balance with the environment or with his concept of living free.

How is that so different than the way the people in Marcy's post above feel? How is it so different than people my age who fought for this country and watched it all change. This land is our land. We own it fair and square no matter what Mayor Villaraigosa of LA and the professors at California universities have to say about it.

There are too many people in America who live above the fall line. They do not see the harm being done or prefer to close their eyes to it because they are benefitting from it financially.

I am an old man and never was great warrior when I served, but I was willing to risk my life for America then and I feel the same way now. The big difference is, I had no internal enemies in those days.

I do now. If you wish to benefit from cheap labor--move to Mexico or Central America. Do not hire illegals. It makes you my enemy. We need another revolution to oust the huge number of traitors in public office. I do not recognize my country anymore!

misterbill, you touched on the answer -- a revolution by AMERICANS, for AMERICANS. Our founding fathers wrote that into the Constitution, if elected representatives aren't doing their job, get rid of them. However, we currently have to wait four years to do that.
