A Winning Strategy For Conservatives!

Those who refuse to learn from history are  bound to repeat CLINTON ADMINISTRATIONS!! The last time we conservatives failed to get our "act" together far too many refused to vote for George H.W. Bush, and instead cast their ballots for Ross Perot or stayed home altogether. In case you can't hear me, come a little closer. YOU GAVE US EIGHT YEARS OF BILL CLINTON!!! Here's a strategy to help us Conservatives avoid that same disaster in this election. Vote with your heart (or pull for your guy) for the next two primaries in Nevada and South Carolina and see if your candidate--my favorite is Fred Thompson--prevails or comes in a very strong second in the national polls. If, after that time your favorite cannot crack the top two, we MUST back MITT ROMNEY with all our might! That means calls to radio talk shows, blog support, yard signs, letters to the Editor, or all of the above. Here's why. On the whole he's a strong conservative and OBVIOUSLY a good campaigner with an unlimited war chest. These are VITAL to beating either of the Democrat socialists. The one thing that angers us the most about President Bush is his willingness to cave to Democrat socialists on so many issues and his stubborn refusal to close the border. We won't have these problems with Mitt. With either McCain or Huckabee we would be tormented by a President who's perfectly comfortable making budget deals with Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, and Ted Kennedy, and happy to let Nancy Pelosi resume her "detente" with terrorist states. And believe me, BOTH McCain and Huckabee would cede a great deal of American sovereignty to the United Nations. They admire the United Nations. John McCain and Mike Huckabee have one foot in the Democrat camp. Once again. If your candidate refuses to catch fire in the next week to ten days, JUMP ON THE MITT BANDWAGON. It may be the only chance we have to avert a socialist Clinton or Obama Administration. Thanks, Morgan Orlins

With the withdrawal of Tancredo, and MSM phase out of Hunter, Mitt has become my second choice behind Fred Thompson, but it's looking to me (realistically) that Fred can not or will not overcome the top tier.  Sigh ...... I'll of course watch SC, but still, he's trailing badly with just a few days remaining.

If he can't overcome Huckabee or McCain, I will fully support Romney!

You are right -- if we don't unite, Hillary or Obama will occupy the White House!  No Bloomberg or Dobbs or Paul, or any other "independent" challenger for that matter -- too little to late, and a drain and distraction from a united conservative front!

Thanks Jim! I agree, and if we don't unite INSIDE of two weeks we weaken our hand dramatically. Many people don't understand something about the financing of campaigns. Much of the large corporate money would RATHER go to the Republican ticket in any given election. But if the Dem ticket looks inevitable, that same money will flow to the Dems as "protection money" for lack of a better term. We can eliminate that problem by getting all of our eggs in one basket soon.

Good points everyone. Once we sort out who our nominee is we must unite and put a Republican in the White House.

Mitt does have good business experience and I heard that even Ross Perot who is very hard to please likes him as well and highly respects the man for his talent and family morals. I am not a big fan of Ross Perot, he's a very nice man- but thought his comments on Mitt very interesting.

Mitt's probably the MOST qualified candidate I've seen in my lifetime. Not only was he a Governor, but he saved the Winter Olympics, and was a spectacularly successful business man. If Fred doesn't light it up in South Carolina I'll know EXACTLY what to do. Don't get me started on John"the liberal" McCain!  :-)

Food for thought on the topic of Republican unity:

Can you imagine Hillary or Obama awash with corporate billions AND George Soros money? We can eliminate that problem by getting all of our eggs in one basket soon. They will have more money no matter what happens. WE can limit the damage by getting behind a nominee like Mitt Romney soon. Think about it. 

George Soros has his OWN revenge in store for the USA.....he is still seething from WWII and the compromise made during the war to divide Poland and give part of it to the Soviet Union. You are so right Jingoist. We must unite and SOON! I think Mitt also understands the threat posed by Islamic extremists.  Hillary OR Obama in the Oval office is a recipe for disaster.....and one that would greatly affect WE THE PEOPLE. Neither one has the ability to deal with leaders of terrorist regimes....be stern when you need to be and diplomatic as necessary...and always "trust but verify" with some of our so called "allies" like Pakistan.

Great post BioBabe! Where do I start?

I read a lengthy article at David Horowitz's website a year ago about Soros. His grandparents were Jews, but his father was a member of a strange cult, the name of which escapes me. George's beliefs were in large part shaped by that cult and his experiences in the concentration camps. Either way Soros is a clear and present danger to this great Republic. I didn't know that he was seething about Poland.

 Today I heard a Mitt Romney commercial here in Jacksonville. It was "cultural conservative" all the way! He also spent 1/3 of the commercial talking about taking the fight to allah's gangsters. He called them "Muslim extremists." I need to have a talk with him soon. :-)

I hate to say it, but I think a Hillary or Obama Presidency would be an even bigger disaster than the eight years of Monica's boyfriend. For all of Bill's faults, he wasn't a leftwing fanatic. True, he was everything we think he was and more AND a leftist, but Hillary and Obama are serious hard-core collectivists who would bring more damage and reek more havoc on this country than we can fathom. The weakness they represent to our enemies is frightening.

Newt's stand on "global warming" is SO disappointing. This is an issue I've done a LOT of research on. I have EVERY one of his books and I think he just plain caved on this issue due to opinion polls. How sad that someone of his prodigious intellect didn't take the time to do his homework and look into some of the research of astrophysicists like Wei-Hock Soon, Sally Baliunis, and Habibullan Abusamotov.

As my 3rd grade teacher said, "the truth will set you free!" Or was that Moses? LOL!

I cannot have any of the others as my President, we here have fought so hard against McCain amnesty bill, The calls, faxes, e-mails, I did nothing for days on end, calling and e-mailing, watching c-span(now I know all Senators by face and name)(Both faces), To watch that hard work go down the drain now and mean nothing is wrong. We have got to unite, we have to save our country.

G-d bless you marcy for all of the hard work you did against John McCain on that Amnesty Bill! I too love Fred's message, but he's going to have to show VERY strong in S.C. for me to stay on board. If you have a big e-mail list try to get the word out about backing Romney soon. Heck use this forum piece if you want to, we need to get ther word out. We MUST stop Mccain and Huckster. They are liberals in Republican clothing!

And that is probably why you are such a well behaved and knowledgeable young man!  I think if we had more teachers like that today, many of America's ills would be cured -- not all -- but many (of course the ACLU could never let that happen)!

Thanks Jim! As incorrigible as I was at times, I think the whippings I got sunk in eventually. Now my wife only has to beat me 2 or 3 times a year! I certainly agree with you about tough teachers. Heck I went to public schools too. Speaking of the ACLU I wrote a long article about that miserable bunch around two years ago. We MUST find a way to limit their reach.
