10 Questions For Every Candidate!

These questions will go a long way in telling the character of any one of the candidates.

However, I doubt very seriously that any of these questions will ever be asked, let alone answered! 

To all candidates (dems and reps): although this forum is called a debate, the following questions require no debate. A simple yes or no answer will suffice.

1. If you are elected president, would you immediately pardon border patrol agents Ramos and Compean? Yes or No!

2. The Wahabi sect of Islam is wreaking havoc in England and France. As president, are you prepared to convince congress to outlaw that brand of Islam? Yes or No!

3. Do you beleive a double fence should span the border between the U.S and Mexico? Yes or No!

4. Do you believe illegal immigrants should be entitled to the same benefits that LEGAL tax paying U.S. citizens enjoy? Yes or No!

5. U.S. citizens that are employed in the high tech industry are loosing their jobs in favor of outsourcing, and the H1-B visa holder. If elected, would you put an immediate halt to outsourceing and a halt to issuing the H1-B visa? Yes or No! (I know this delves into the capitalism and freedom/rights of the companies to do this, but I'd love to hear the answers)

6. If a majority of the tax paying U.S. citizens favor the FairTax, would you sign a FairTax bill if it came to your desk? Yes or No!

7. Should our welfare system be dismantled in favor of a work for pay system? Yes or No!

8. This country sacrifices lives and taxpayer money to protect foreign countries. Would you consider demanding repayment, such as oil from Iraq, for services rendered? Yes or No!

9. Do you believe that this country was founded on Judeo-Christian priciples? Yes or No!

10. Do you believe the official language of the United States should be English? Yes or No!

Even though I have no intention of ever running for political office, I feel like answering these from my own perspective.

1. If you are elected president, would you immediately pardon border patrol agents Ramos and Compean? Yes or No!

A: Yes - No follow up necessary.

2. The Wahabi sect of Islam is wreaking havoc in England and France. As president, are you prepared to convince congress to outlaw that brand of Islam? Yes or No!

A: No - Doing so is a violation of the First Amendment but that wouldn't stop the police from arresting those from that sect who do commit crimes. 

3. Do you beleive a double fence should span the border between the U.S and Mexico? Yes or No!

A: Yes - Not only the fence, but troops stationed along high-traffic portions to deal with the literal invasion from Mexican soliders and police that we've been seeing. 

4. Do you believe illegal immigrants should be entitled to the same benefits that LEGAL tax paying U.S. citizens enjoy? Yes or No!

A: No - Because they are not US citizens they aren't even protected under the Constitution.

5. U.S. citizens that are employed in the high tech industry are loosing their jobs in favor of outsourcing, and the H1-B visa holder. If elected, would you put an immediate halt to outsourceing and a halt to issuing the H1-B visa? Yes or No! (I know this delves into the capitalism and freedom/rights of the companies to do this, but I'd love to hear the answers)

A: No - The government has no say in the private economy.  But I would restrict, if not halt, issuing the H1-B visas depending on how many holders there are, how many have overstayed, and whether or not citizens from countries that sponsor terrorist groups are visa holders.

6. If a majority of the tax paying U.S. citizens favor the FairTax, would you sign a FairTax bill if it came to your desk? Yes or No!

Yes - But if possible I'd get rid of it as well so citizens could keep even more of their money. 

7. Should our welfare system be dismantled in favor of a work for pay system? Yes or No!

Yes - People who earn something for nothing become lazy and continue to expect hand-outs.

8. This country sacrifices lives and taxpayer money to protect foreign countries. Would you consider demanding repayment, such as oil from Iraq, for services rendered? Yes or No!

No - We had no valid justification to be there in the first place.  Demanding repayment would only add to the damage already done (see post WWI Germany).

9. Do you believe that this country was founded on Judeo-Christian priciples? Yes or No!

Yes - The written works and acts of the Founding Fathers prove this.

10. Do you believe the official language of the United States should be English? Yes or No!

Yes - No follow up necessary.

I'm curious to see how others will answer. 

The issue most important to me is Sovereignty of our nation.  Following very closely is FAIR TRADE.  I do not believe a President should have FAST TRACE AUTHORITY aka Trade Promotion Authority.

Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, John Edwards and Chris Dodd like Fast Track

John McCain, Dennis Kuchinich, Mike Huckabee and Barak Obama no answer

Duncan Hunter, Hillary Clinton and Biden are opposed to Fast Track.
