CNN anchor Lou Dobbs is taking criticism from all sides for his hard-nosed stand on illegal immigration, with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton jabbing at him from the Democratic side and a top aide to Sen. John McCain joining in from the Republican side. On "Lou Dobbs Tonight," CNN correspondent Bill Tucker noted that according to the Nevada chapter of the Service Employee International Union of Nevada (SEIU), "we think that immigration is a broken system and one of the reasons we are excited to endorse Senator Obama is that he understands Americans' are ready for a change. We are excited for him to be in the White House to start making those changes." According to Tucker, the Service workers union warmed to Obama last December when he made a verbal slap at Dobbs. Obama responded to a question on immigration with this comment: ‘We're not going to be able to solve the problem if we're just shouting about it, you know, like Lou Dobbs and folks on television.’ ” Tucker added that Clinton “even mocks the seriousness of the issue,” quoting her as taking a veiled slap at Dobbs as well when she said, “ There are even some commentators who are doing extremely well for themselves by making this a very hot issue; but ask yourself, does all that hot air solve anything?” in an obvious slap at Dobbs. Said Tucker, “The dismissive and derisive nature of the comments is not limited to the Democrats. Senator McCain's chief political strategist seemed to mock the opposition in defeat of McCain's amnesty plan saying that quote, ‘even Lou Dobbs' throat got sore screaming for so long.’ “The candidates seem to have forgotten that the Senate's idea of comprehensive immigration reform and amnesty inspired bipartisan outrage from voters. Now, surely the candidates can't believe that the voters are full of just so much hot air, can they, Lou?” Dobbs answered, “I have to tell you very disappointing to me was Senator McCain's adviser making that crack after Senator McCain — I have credited on this broadcast with listening to the American people and understanding that this is going to have to be border security first. It doesn't matter what Senator Barack Obama says. It doesn't matter what Senator Clinton says. “The American people are not going to tolerate anything other than border security and port security before anyone even begins to touch immigration reform. That's been made extremely clear. And for Senator McCain's adviser to make that inside identification crack suggests either the senator has an idiot for an adviser, or this adviser is betraying a belief held by the senator that he's not expressing. Well, Dobbs got his slaps back at Obama yesterday during the show, he seemed to be pleased that Obama had gotten knocked back a peg by losing the NH primary, and he also had noticed the arrogant look and stance Obama had just prior to the primary being held, I noticed it too.  The guy is a danger that is for sure!

But that said, even Lou has been very quiet in his complaints about Obama, I have no idea why the media is struck so deaf and blind by this man, I don't care if he is a good orator if he doesn't have good experience and policy!  Lou needs to start pointing out Obama's problem votes for illegals etc on his show, and then maybe the rest of the "star struck" media will do their stupid jobs and start investigating all his other votes in Illinois and the US Senate!

Yes, you do, VeeBee. We ALL know the reason. But nobody will say it.  Obama is getting a free ride because he is black.  After 7 years of the TV series, 24, and supergood black presidents and superbad White presidents, the path has been cleared. Obama is Pres. David Palmer.

Barack Obama is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.  A trip to the church website (www.tucc.org) will reveal more of the following!  Click on the "about us" link and read about how the congregation is "UNASHAMEDLY BLACK with a NON-NEGOTIABLE commitment to AFRICA"!  About how God has "superintended our pilgrimage through slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism"!  Personally, I don't know how a man could be a member of a "congregation" like this and also be a front-runner in the race for the Presidency of the USA!  These news agencies would be all over a scoup like this...if they WANTED TO BE!  Romney's Mormonism is at the forefront of every interview.  Ron Paul "supposedly" got a donation from racist groups!  But NOTHING about OPRAHBAMA belonging to a church with a NON-NEGOTIABLE commitment to AFRICA??????What in blazes does that mean?  If he becomes president we share  our wealth with and send our military to AFRICA every time he sees fit????  People better get their heads out of the sand and wake up in this country because the MEDIA is not going to report the facts as they are at all!  Barack Obama is a globalist, socialist, unashamedly BLACK man with no allegiance to the USA...AT ALL!!!!!!!

The Service Employees Union of Nevada and ( what's the other union that is endorsing Obama in Nevada ?) the Kitchen helpers Assistants Union ?......PLEASE ! There aren't more than 15 non-illegal aliens in Nevada working in kitchens, as maids and janitors.....are there more than 15 non-illegal aliens in Nevada doing those jobs ?

 ANYHOW, who cares. Certainly those two unions are panting at the trough hoping for Obama to breathe life into AMNESTY again. But don't worry oh Unionites there are lots of Presidential hopefuls willing to breathe life into AMNESTY for you: McCain, Clinton, Huckabee, Edwards, Guiliani and Romney.

 Come to think of it, IF I could stack the deck in favor of AMNESTY for illegals...the presidential hopeful list is about as STACKED A DECK as a person could   DELIBERATELY    make it !

You got that right, hard for me to understand if amnesty is such a problem in everyone's mind, then why did Tancredo and Hunter not do better than they did? But then again, neither did Richardson who is hispanic himself and is so pro amnesty it hurts!  I am surprised he has not petitioned Mexico to see if New Mexico could join that country and leave the USA!!

I too wondered at those unions, the one union it was said has about 60,000 members, and the other one has about 17,000---but out of those total memberships, how many of them are LEGAL and can legally vote?  I would say we need people to man the polls in places like Nevada---with Reid in charge and the illegals under every rock, that smacks to me of potential voter fraud!
