Who really destroyed the Republican Party?

I say George H Bush when he started the "Big Tent" idea that we could welcome everyone under this big tent. That is why we have Mit Romney, Rudy Guliani, John McCain, Kay Baily Hutchison, Arlen Spector etc. etc.

It's brought nothing but strife within the party and now look what we have running for Prez.
