I have just spoken with Chad at the Iowa GOP headquarters. He informed me that we CAN still caucus for TOM TANCREDO. He also informed me that if we would like to speak on behalf of Tom to discuss it with the Chairperson when we get there, to the caucus. He said that we can write whomever's name we want on the slip of paper.
Therefore, WE can still get bring down the MSM and Big Business by getting the votes needed to get Tom back into the race. So, please don't give up hope, fellow Americans. It will truly be a Happy New Year for us all if we continue to stick together and cast the vote for Tom Tancredo.

But will it do any good if Tom doesn't want to return to the race? I think at this point Hunter is our only hope. Not that that is much. I heard on the news that only about 10% of the people in Iowa will caucus. That is unbelievable. Don't they care what is happening to our nation?
caucuses are different from regular elections like most states have. You know how hard it is to get anyone to the polls then. Caucuses, they have to all meet at a specific time (usually in the evening) and argue/discuss the candidates and keep voting until one has more than 51% of the vote.
I saw a report yesterday that only about 100,000 people will Caucus January 3, and that is if the weather is good.

I do not have a defeatist mentality. I believe, Tom Tancredo will rejoin the candidacy for the Presidency if he gets enough votes.
Look at it this way, if there are 50,000 Republicans in Iowa that caucus and he earns 30% of the votes cast he would get 15,000 votes. I believe, that would give him enough will to get back in the race.
I have HOPE, FAITH, and the WILL to do what is right for America. I cannot, by good conscience, allow myself to vote for any other candidate. Therefore, I will not claim defeat. I will continue the fight for Tom Tancredo.

Well I hope you can get him back in. He was my first choice. You need to talk long and hard to convince those in Iowa that without a man of Tom's principles this nation is not going to survive. I just don't understand why he never did better than he did. All the polls show that the majority of Americans are fed up with illegal immigration yet it doesn't seem to have an effect when it comes to who they support for President.
Mammaw - I have several family members who live in Iowa. I spent last summer there and had the opportunity to help with Tom's campaign on a daily basis. My own family (parents, siblings, nephews, nieces) supported Tom's ideas 100%, yet they preferred "not to get involved" with the political process. One of my brothers supports Hillary and when I ask him for his reasoning, he has none other than he despises Jorge Bush and the Iraq war. My brothers and sisters (with the exception of one) work full time and have too much going on in their lives to make time for politics. It truly amazes but frightens me, and no matter how I tried to educate them (and, believe me, I tried every day), they remained very closed minded. Sadly, I think the majority of American citizens have that same mentality! With the caucus three days away, my family members do not know who they will support, and they admitted they will most likely not attend the caucuses. I told them if they choose that attitude, they have nothing to complain about in a few years when our official language becomes Spanish and when they lose their labor jobs in Iowa to illegals (like here in Arizona).

Don't trust the polls, Mammaw. They are media driven and the media aims to influence the voters. I don't think they tell the truth.

Creampuff: You may want to get this info. out to Iowans as quickly as you can. http://www.fairus.org/site/PageServer... Costs of Illegal Immigration to Iowans Iowa has a fast growing illegal alien population of at least 55,000 persons, and the fiscal burden on Iowans resulting from services provided to that population are similarly growing rapidly. Comparing this number with the federal government estimate of 24,000 illegal immigrants in 2000 suggests that the illegal resident alien population has grown by roughly 31,000 persons  an increase of 130 percent  over the past seven years. A comparison of the entire foreign-born population residing in Iowa in the 2000 Census  including legal and illegal immigrants and some long-term nonimmigrants, such as foreign students  with the estimated size of that foreign-born population in 2006 also shows an increase of about 31,000 people. This suggests that virtually all of the increase in the foreign-born population in Iowa since 2000 has been by illegal residents. This rapid rise in the illegal alien population in Iowa since 2000 has coincided with the implementation of a program termed the New Iowans Project. The New Iowans centers are still operating in the state. FAIR estimates that the annual fiscal burden on Iowa taxpayers today from illegal immigration is at least $241 million. That equates to an annual cost of about $172 per native-born headed Iowa household after accounting for taxes collected from illegal workers. This study takes into account the findings of a report prepared by Iowa's Legislative Services Agency (LSA) in February 2007 and by the Iowa Policy Project (IPP) in response to the LSA report. Our estimates, based on a different methodology, reveal a greater fiscal burden than reported in either of those studies. Even without accounting for all areas in which costs associated with illegal immigration are being incurred by Iowa taxpayers, the program areas analyzed in this study indicate that the burden is substantial. The nearly one-quarter billion dollar costs incurred by Iowa taxpayers annually result from outlays in the following areas: Education. Based on an estimate of 8,645 school-age illegal aliens and 12,100 U.S.-born children of illegal aliens in Iowa and estimated per pupil costs of $8,450 per year for public K-12 schooling, Iowans spend about $175.3 million annually on education for the children of illegal immigrants. An additional estimated $13 million is being spent annually on programs for limited English students who are likely children of illegal aliens. More than four percent of the K-12 public school students in Iowa are children of illegal aliens, and this share has been increasing as the illegal resident population increases and the overall public school enrollment has decreased slightly Health care. State-funded uncompensated medical outlays for health care provided to Iowa's illegal alien population amount to an estimated $48.3 million a year. This estimate does not include higher medical bills and insurance costs that Iowans who have medical insurance pay to cover the costs of those without insurance. Incarceration. The uncompensated cost of incarcerating deportable illegal aliens in Iowa's state and local prisons amounts to nearly $4.9 million a year. This estimate excludes compensation from the federal government, short-term detention costs, related law enforcement and judicial expenditures, as well as the monetary costs of the crimes that led to incarceration. Tanc; I guess this is a good example of what is wrong with this nation. Apathy. The problem is when they lose their jobs and have to speak Spanish they will have taken the rest of us down with them. And msbobbie, I don't think, I know, the media doesn't tell the truth.
Mammaw: I agree to some extent about Apathy being what's wrong with this Nation. However, I believe there is a larger part of the problem that has to do with plain ignorance and small-mindedness. When people read the papers and watch television they believe that is the only way to look at it. They fail to open their eyes and their minds as to what is really happening around them. Many of them live a busy-bodied life just so they don't have to know. This way, if things get really out of control then they can say that they didn't realize it was nearly that bad.
I'm not sure how much influence I really have with people. But, what I do know is: "People do pay attention when I speak." That is the one thing I am counting on at the Caucus. When I say this, I am not going according to the 2000 caucus when I was able to pursuade people to vote for George W. Times have changed. There will be new faces there that may have already been influenced by the people they hang around with. Therefore, when I speak on behalf of Tom Tancredo I will speak to where people can feel my strength and sincerity for what must be changed in our Country.
People who know me understand that I am very passionate about the beliefs I hold. They, also, understand that I will defend those positions no matter what. If I strongly believe in a cause I will defend it until there is nothing left. Therefore, fighting for Tom Tancredo to earn his rightful spot in the White House is the one cause that I give all of my energy for. There is nothing more sacred than saving the United States of America. And, by standing up and fighting for the one man and his ideas who can truly save this Nation is well worth everything I have to give.
THIS IS A FIGHT THAT CAN NEVER BE LOST!!! And, I will fight with every ounce of energy I have.

Well said - Creampuff! In Tom's defense, I believe Tom is very aware that his supporters maintain a strong passion for his cause and he is counting on us to continue standing up for our country for as long as it takes! Unfortunately, I also think many Americans are so used to having things handed to them that being lazy, ignorant or apathetic is an easier course than working for change. Many people are willing to let the Des Moines Register or the Arizona Republic determine who they support. That's why we do our best to get the truth out in every way possible. I still have hope that Iowans will shock the nation on caucus day and prove to all Americans that they have done their homework and thoroughly researched every candidate.

Just heard that almost 40% are still undecided on the GOP side. That says something! If I were in Iowa, I'd vote for TOM whether he's in the race or not.
I agree with speakengl and Creampuff. By voting for Tom, you would be sending the message loud and clear that none of the other candidates are suitable for the U.S.A. Just found this article in today's AZ Republic about Iowans and illegal immigration. http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepub...

Caucus for Tom Tancredo in Iowa on January 3rd!!!!

Tom T. is a good man, but he has NO chance of winning. I'll be backing Fred Thompson, the one true conservative with a 50 state chance, After him I like Romney. Both will secure the border and cut taxes.
Both SAY they will secure the border and cut taxes. But it remains to be seen what they will do if elected. Check out their report cards on immigration. Anyone can say anything. The facts speak for themselves.
I suggest to Creampuff and Tancsarmy that you take drastic steps as you attend the caucus this week. I read an article a couple days ago that told of an Iowa woman attending one of McCain's gatherings. The woman voiced her concerns about illegal immigration and stated she had heard that there are illegals in this country flying Mexican flags over the U.S. flag. The same article stated that McCain REFUTED that rumor!!! If I were an Iowa voter I'd walk into that caucus room with a slideshow, if they allow that sort of thing. Many Iowans do not have access to the internet and cable or direct t.v., so they rely on local newspapers and the politicians themselves for the truth. http://youtube.com/watch?v=UQ6cCPbA8j...

I know that Tancsarmy is as dedicated as I am for standing up and fighting for Tom Tancredo, here in Iowa. Tanc4prez is another great asset to Tom's strength of supporters. And, for that, I thank you both from the bottom of my heart.
I love a challenge that seems be against all odds. I fought 12 YEARS to get into the University of Iowa. I was always told that I would never make it, but in 2005 I proved the people that were against me wrong. I wear the scars of knowledge to prove that the odds can be beat. I also hold 20 or more rejection letters spanning those 12 YEARS. So, speaking from experience, the odds can be beat. And, the odds for Tom Tancredo don't look too good. But, I'm not giving up.
The one message I have for all of those that are not going to vote for Tom Tancredo is this: "When nothing in America changes, or it gets worse, I'm not the person to come cry on when it's time for the next election. I have said more than enough times that the same ol', same ol' is going to happen if there is someone other than Tom Tancredo elected to office."
I've been an avid viewer of the way politics is done for the past 16 years. I've voted in all of the past 4 Presidential elections and all other State elections. I attended the District Caucus for the 2000 Presidential election. I also have the bitter scars from that time, also. The temperature was 25 degrees above zero and the winds were coming from the southeast at around 30 mph. There was snow on the ground. And, yet, I rode my Sukuki 550cc motorcycle to Spencer, Iowa that morning because my car needed a new engine. The moral of this is: I did what ever I needed to in order to achieve my objective and my objective was to get to Spencer, Iowa to take part in the District Caucus. Nothing was going to stop me and it didn't. And, YES, that motorcycle ride did happen. There is no fabrication or falsely stated claims made. I stopped at the Happy Chef in Cherokee, Iowa to get coffee early that morning. After I left, I stopped at the Motel at the Junction of Highway 71 and 3 to warm up some more. Once I was warm, I headed towards Spencer, but I made my last stop for coffee and a quick warmer-upper at Casey's General Store in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. I made it to Spencer, Iowa around 8:00, nearly froze to my motorcycle. That was a ride that can never be forgotten because it was so cold that my eyes were glazed over with frost, even with my helmet on. In fact, I lost my helmet that day on the way back because it had warmed up enough that I didn't need to wear it. Oh, and if you think I'm nuts for not wearing the helmet, just think about the weather I had been riding in that morning. Then, you can call me nuts.
So, you see, I do what ever is humanly possible to achieve what I believe in. Therefore, this Thursday night, January 3rd, will be no different for me. It's the challenge that I'm so excited about having. Can anyone tell me, "Does it get any better than this?" I don't believe it does, but I could be mistaken.
