U.S. Citizen comments and Emerging Power Against Immigration
By Frosty Wooldridge

Bush and Congress cannot and will not prevail against the will of the American people as to unending illegal immigration in 2008.

“Please read, grade and see who stands for our country and who wants to finish destroying what is left of America.

Let us keep track of what they say and then we decide who we will vote into the highest office. We cannot make another mistake again like we did with President Bush.” Carmen and Joe dontspeakforme.org

“The Congress finally admits to energy concerns of the future. Yea! But controlling immigration would seem the most logical, but no, nothing about that.

Let’s save a couple of watts and bring in 20 or 30 million more people into our country. Yeah, that’ll do a lot of good. Like my dad used to say ‘It’s like ‘shoveling shi* against the tide.’” Howard of Phoenix, AZ

“The major problem with our country is the gross corruption and compromise of our entire political system of government. It extends to the highest levels. The illegal immigrants that come here have also been the victims of corruption both their government and ours along with corporate America. Most of the flood of illegals was a result of the passage of NAFTA, which as you must know was a lose-lose situation for the average Latino and American. We are in big trouble. Most Americans don't have the ability to be brutally honest with themselves and what is really going on in this country.” Barbara

“The Industrial Revolution was so productive that, given the rudimentary nature of governmental and financial institutions, and of the technology of communication and control, capital was unable to deprive labor of a significant share of the national income. Fast forward to '1984' and Big Brother's e-capability for universal surveillance, instantaneous communication, and control of the smallest elements of one’s daily life.

“As the supply of labor rises, real wages fall. Thus, illegal aliens don't have to work for lower wages for them to depress wages for all workers. Just their presence here increases the supply of labor, which necessarily lowers the market-clearing wage. Likewise, their presence also increases demand for a wide variety of consumer goods & services, thereby bidding up prices.

“As the American Middle Class continues to be dispossessed economically and disenfranchised politically, they approach the Malthusian state where they compete in 'their own' country for a third world existence with illegals and H-visa aliens. Insult added to injury: will the tins of 'Soylent Green' have bilingual labels?” John Tomaski

“I fear America is finished. And when the NAU becomes a total reality, there's no going back. America as we knew it no longer exists. Instead, we live in a world where we have to fear for our lives when going shopping or going to church, or sending our children to school. We live in a world where we are not secure, even in our own homes.

”I was in a hospital three years ago where there was only one American nurse on my floor for all shifts. Most of the time I couldn't understand what they were saying to me, and one of them tried to give me the wrong medication. I wouldn't take it, and she reported me to the head nurse, who called my doctor at home and got herself a good tongue-lashing, because it WAS the wrong medication.

”Now, if you can't read English, you can hardly speak English, and you can't make yourself understood to English-speakers, why the devil are you working in a situation where you hold their very lives in your hands?” Diane, American grandmother

“Once again massive riots have taken place in a Paris suburb which is populated with North African and Arab immigrants. Over the past week, over 100 police officers have been injured as the thugs hurled rocks and Molotov cocktails and fired shotguns at them. The violence is a direct result of the large influx of Third World immigrants who have no intention of assimilating.” Dave Gibson

“The only way to save our country is to start following our Constitution the way it was written. The 2008 election is "do or die" in my opinion. Who we have in Congress and as President will determine our fate. I support Ron Paul for President. The American public needs to wake up and take action, especially immigration.” Babs, Belfield, North Dakota

“One third of immigrants are on some form of welfare, costing states nearly $20 billion a year--adding that efforts to legalize the spiraling number of illegal aliens will only increase the amount of uneducated, uninsured legal immigrants burdening America’s welfare rolls. Since 2000, more than 10 million immigrants have entered the U.S., more than half of them illegally. With no change in U.S. immigration policy, another 15 million immigrants will likely arrive in the next 10 years.

“The last seven years have been the highest period of immigration in American history,” says Dr. Steven A. Camarota of
www.cis.org . “The roughly 1.5 million immigrants arriving each year have a very significant effect on American life.”

The question grows: how long before the United States suffers the same fate as France? Short answer: not too much longer if the current immigration numbers continue.

If U.S. citizens fail to stop all forms of immigration, this country doesn’t stand a chance against its immigrants as they outnumber, overwhelm and thoroughly change our country into something like those immigrants fled.

Immigration in any form creates a lose-lose dilemma for all Americans. The November 2008 election of senators and House members, and the next president will sustain or destroy the United States of America. If the democrats win the White House, our borders become a free-for-all. If any of the Republicans win it other than Ron Paul or Duncan Hunter—this nation won’t survive. Think I’m kidding?

I really appreciated using numbersusa this past year.  Why have they not had any new faxes lately?  It seems now would be the time to keep the pressure on and let them know we're not giving up.  Those illegals are already passing a petition around that they will present to our gov't on their May 1 marches again this year.  The only thing numbersusa still has on their site are those faxes about the SAVE act.

ConcernedMom;  I've wondered the same.  It may be that their emails aren't getting through.  I received a notice to that effect.  I, too, believe that we need to get on and stay on the offensive.  We need to beat the pro illegal supporters to the punch.

The election is not going to matter - NOT REALLY! Let me explain!  We are so beyond republican vs. democrat.  Look at the big picture!  All the candidates, all of government itself is owned by the CFR!  THERE WILL NOT BE ONE CANDIDATE on that election ballot that has not been endorsed and bought and paid for by the CFR!  YES!!!! THEY ARE THAT POWERFUL!!!  I agree that Ron Paul is possibly the only one to save our rears - but I doubt he has a chance of getting on that ballot - they will find a way to make certain of that, and even if he were, his image is not sufficient to win a national election.  You want to know what I'm really speculating?  There will be no election - I think something big is coming down the pike - some monumental "economic" crisis orchestrated by the elitist's power and wealth and that the "Amero" or whatever they choose to call it and the NAU will be here before the election can even happen!

The following quote is from John Vinson, Middle America News in an article entitled "CFR Subverts U.S. Sovereignty":

"Bush's REAL reason for promoting amnesty for illegals and open borders is to do an end run around the Constitution and impose of Americans the CFR's NEW WORLD ORDER!"

What NumbersUSA is really calling for to be more effective in our efforts is an increase in membership.   So, anytime you have an email or conversation w/ a friend who thinks like we do, you encourage them to join....and you encourage them to have their friends join.   Constantly have this on your mind, and produce the small effort it takes to accomplish this.

The membership is currently inching towards 600,000, and they would like to see 1 million going into this time frame right now.

It is extremely necessary.  Do what you can.

The power in this country may well be unattached voters.

I have been trying to get a handle on how many there are nationally, but the info is all over the place.

                                          GOP            Dem       Unattached

Alaska 2004                      24.87%      15.10%       37.87%

Calif. (recent)                                                          19.2 %

Delaware (last elect)       145,829       214,456     117,712

NJ 1999                              19.0%       24.9%          55.9%

I would like to get current data for the country and a indication if the move to unattached is growing.

I think there is the sleeping giant we need to awaken!

Poke-A-Party! Drop the GOP & Dem PArties.

oldguy, do you know what the figures for unattached voters has been historically?  It seems to me there are far more of them than in the past.

And, I realize Congress is on vacation.  I was just wondering why numbersusa hasn't even sent many emails or anything else lately.  It's good to keep people informed and excited about taking action.

Congress is on vacation even when they are in session.  Most of them anyway.  If Bush tries an end run around our constitution that is when WE THE PEOPLE will rise up and be in the streets.  I hope you all have plenty of ammunition.  I also hope that the militias that we heard so much about after the Oklahoma City bombing are out there somewhere and ready to go.  It is not above Bush to try this.  King George has had to answer to no one so this has emboldened him.

No, from what I can gather the numbers are growing. CUIP has a website that says 35% of voters are independent or unattached!

I'll have to go back and find the link and post it again.

I found it quickly. Take a look!

Illegal immigration

The attempt by the political elite to pass "comprehensive immigration reform," including amnesty for illegal aliens, was soundly defeated in Congress this past fall due to a grassroots uprising by the citizenry. During that debate, the apologists for illegal immigration -- including propagandists paid by the government of Mexico -- said a path to citizenship for the 12 million to 20 millions illegals already here was all but necessary because "we can't deport them all." Their argument essentially was that America had to acquiesce to millions of illegals because reversing the problem was not practical.

But think back. From the 1970s to the mid 1990s, welfare was considered an intractable condition, too. Then, when a Democratic president and a Republican Congress got together and passed the Welfare Reform Act of 1996, the welfare rolls immediately began a precipitous decline. Now, the nationwide welfare caseload is down by over 60 percent and, in addition, overall child poverty, black child poverty and child hunger all have decreased.

There are many other examples of problems that appear to be insolvable but lend themselves to solutions once a little political will is applied to them. These include: crime in cities like New York and the campaigns against smoking and drunk driving. Illegal immigration is the same. It can be stopped. It can be reversed.

And already there are signs of this. Reuters news agency is reporting that illegal immigrants are "self-deporting" themselves as a crackdown on undocumented workers widens and the U.S. economy slows. Now to be sure, whatever crackdown there is on illegal aliens is mild and far from what needs to be done. But it does show that when even a little enforcement is applied, illegals say "vamos" all on their own.

The trick now is to turn this self-deportation movement into a torrent. Keep the pressure on our elected representatives to secure the borders, penalize employers who hire undocumented workers and cut federal funding to sanctuary cities. Also, a pro-active and systematic deportation policy must be the norm, especially when dealing with the huge criminal element among the illegals.

Arizona happenings:

Illegal immigration has high cost

Tucson, Arizona | Published: 12.31.2007
With their legal challenges to Arizona's new Employer Sanction's Law foundering, opponents of penalizing businesses that knowingly hire illegal immigrants are shifting to phase two of their attack — a propaganda campaign designed to fool the people into believing that the law will destroy Arizona's economy. It won't.
Illegal immigrants are a drain on Arizona's economy. They burden taxpayers with costs of about $1.3 billion per year, according to the Federation for American Immigration Reform, and that estimate only includes expenditures for education, emergency medical care and incarceration. The $1.3 billion estimate does not include the bill for other benefits, law enforcement costs and the expense of providing benefits to the children of illegals born here who, as citizens, are entitled to full government services, including welfare and costly government-sponsored health insurance.
Illegal immigrants harm Arizona's economy in other ways. By working for lower wages, illegals lower market wages and take good jobs away from legal residents. Because hospitals cannot recoup all of the uncompensated costs of treating illegals, they pass the costs on to legal residents and their insurance companies.
Illegal immigrants also degrade our state in non-economic ways. Our national parks near the Mexican border have been environmentally scarred by the unauthorized roads and trails illegals create and the trash they leave behind, as they illegally enter our country. In some areas of Douglas, residents are so fearful of transient illegals that they do not go out alone at night. In Phoenix, illegal day laborers and their supporters are disrupting a community and attempting to destroy a neighborhood family business that dared speak out against the harm, fear and disorder that loitering and trespassing illegal day laborers cause.
Illegal immigrants also make our communities unsafe. Illegals make up 8 percent of Arizona's population but comprise over 12 percent of the felons incarcerated in our prisons, according to the Arizona Department of Corrections.
Supporters of illegal immigrant labor claim that illegals give back to the economy by the taxes they pay. However, because many illegals work "off the books" and pay no taxes or work "on the books" at near-minimum wage rates that do not trigger income tax collection, illegal immigrants contribute little in taxes.
The claim that the exodus of illegal immigrants would harm Arizona's economy is also based upon the false premise that our workforce is currently operating at 100 percent efficiency and that the loss of a fraction of it could not be partially made up by the increased productivity of existing workers and automation.
We must stop illegal immigration now and Arizona is doing that by denying jobs and benefits to illegals. If the federal government would do its job by securing the border and providing businesses with carefully screened guest workers to fill the jobs that legal workers cannot fill, we just might be able to solve the divisive and costly problem of illegal immigration.

This e-mail was sent to me by a friend:

Hoover & Eisenhower and OPERATION WETBACK

I looked it up, and sure enough it is there. In 1954, why don't we remember this? I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me.  But, back during the Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the
deportation of all illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.

And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower  deported 1.3 million Mexican nationals! The program was called "Operation "Wetback" so that American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs.
It took 2 years, but they deported them.

Now, if they could deport the illegals back then, they can sure do it today! (BUT THEY WON'T-IT'S AGAINST THEIR "BIGGER" AGENDA)

Reminder - Don't forget to pay your taxes.
20 million illegal aliens are depending on you!

oldguy said: I think there is the sleeping giant we need to awaken!

This article is really depressing, but very true!  Wake up not just unattached voters, but ALL OF AMERICA!  This is from vdare.com:

Leaderless and Clueless America Heads for the Trash Can of History

By Paul Craig Roberts In new books writers as disparate as www.amazon.com%2FEnd-America-Letter-W... target="_blank">Naomi Wolf and Pat Buchanan conclude that America as we know her is disappearing. Both writers hope, but are not confident, that  enough Americans will catch on in time to find the leadership to pull America back from the brink.

If polls are reliable, a majority of Americans are dissatisfied with President Bush and Congress. However, Americans are far short of Wolf and Buchanan’s grasp of our peril.

Americans are unable to connect their dissatisfaction with the current political leadership with their choice of new leaders. All polls show that Hillary Clinton is far in the lead for the Democratic presidential nomination and Rudy Giuliani is far in the lead for the Republican nomination [See Polling report.com: Election 2008 ]. These are the only two candidates guaranteed to be worse than Bush/Cheney.

Both Hillary and Rudy are committed to the war. Both refuse to rule out expanding the war to Iran and beyond. Both are totally in the pocket of the Israel Lobby. Indeed, practically every Giuliani advisor is a member of the Lobby. Both defend the police state measures that “protect us from terrorism.” And neither gives a hoot for the US Constitution and the civil liberties it guarantees. The Republican Giuliani is likely to overturn the Second Amendment even quicker than the Democrat Hillary.

Both Hillary and Rudy are creatures of ambition, not of principle. Both are one up on Karl Marx. Marx said truth serves class interests. For Hillary and Rudy, truth is what serves their individual interests. They both wear black hats, and the horse they ride is called power.

Yet in November polls, Republicans prefer Giuliani by a margin of five or six to one over Ron Paul, the only principled Republican candidate and a person who without any doubt believes in the Constitution and would protect it.

Democrats prefer Hillary by a margin of twenty to one over Dennis Kucinich, the only member of Congress sufficiently concerned and courageous to introduce impeachment against the notorious war criminal Dick Cheney. By margins as much as forty-four to one, Democrats prefer Hillary to Senator Christopher Dodd, who promises to give America back its Constitution in the first hour of his administration. Former Alaska Senator Mike Gravel does not even register in the polls.

Obviously, the American people haven’t a clue. In November 2007 they show a distinct preference for leaders who are even worse than the ones with whom they are currently dissatisfied. What does this tell us about the American people and their commitment to be sufficiently informed for democracy to function?

It tells us that they are not up to the challenge. It is only a matter of time before America succumbs to the plutocracy, against which Warren Buffet recently warned Congress, or the fascist tyranny that Naomi Wolf sees in our future.
