This is the woman who decides what bills come before Nancy and her court in the House. http://www.louise.house.gov/index.php... Question: Should Congress continue to pass legislation to combat global warming and secure energy independence, as it did this week? Louise Line: A periodic update from the front lines in Congress Dear Constituents: The holiday season is upon us, and before we settle down to spend time with friends and family, I want to update you on some of the important work I have been doing in Washington over the past few weeks, and what it means for you. But first, I strongly believe that our government cannot work if this is a one way conversation. Please take the time to participate in this issue's survey question. I value your thoughts and opinions and want to use the Louise Line as an important tool for us to communicate with one another. Also, keep those emails coming. And remember, you can always visit my website for regular updates so that you can keep on top of what your Representative is doing in Washington and at home. Have a very happy holiday! Sincerely, Congresswoman Louise McIntosh Slaughter
I didn't vote. The question lumped global warming and energy independence in the same category. I don't believe most of the global warming hoax, but energy independence is a different issue entirely.

I agree with you--they should not have lumped the two issues together--also, it looks like there is a list of votes all tabulated as anonymous but they are listed next to what appears to be individual IP addressess publicly displayed in the voting results--why would that be?
I voted NO, you can't legislate against nature. You do realize that the temps on Mars, Jupiter, and even Pluto have risen proportionately with Earth's, do you not? How has man had an effect there? All legislation will do is make money for the likes of Al Bore.
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." Sam Adams, terrorist and patriot, public enemy #1 OUR GRAVEST and most imminent threat is the U.S. Government and it's allies, Socialist Media and big business. I am a dedicated revolutionary. Oh yeah! Screw Hitlery and her minions.

I agree with your voting NO on the energy bill poll (against the global warming) but they still should not lump energy independence with global warming in the same question.
I find the wording of her poll statement a little funky because we can have policies that support energy independence without tagging on global warming as an issue.
Believe me, I am no supporter of the Al Gore global warming lies--and yes, I am aware that that the sun is apparently causing warming throughout our solar system, including the earth- e.g. ice caps of Mars are melting, etc..solar system changes are certainly not due to our CO2 emissions!
Many other reasons not to believe Al Gore on this issue, of course--Please see my other postings on this issue in the Environment thread
VEyes, I looked back at the site and they are showing the IP addresses! Why would they do that? It's not good to display them.
