What's happening with F.S.?  Seems that the fire is burning very lightly.  Even though there were some that caused others to get hot under the collar and riled up, I miss the days when posting on threads were hot and contentious, and we had to think and dig deep to retort.  Now what?

We're focusing on the fight - together.  I think it's great!

Don't worry, G47, things will no doubt heat up as we get closer to election time.  Too, there are always newbies signing in.  I think, also, that people tend to be busier this time of year what with the holidays.  Just enjoy this calmer quiet time while it lasts.  Nothing stays the same.

Hi Gerald:

I think FireWing is right, things will heat up again closer to election time.

Yeah! I've been quieter too, so I suppose you all are right. Still I was hoping to see more positive posts slamming Harry Reid and his cohorts about how well things are going in Iraq. And more posts slamming Billary and her weak positions. Was thinking too we cannot let up too much or it'll allow the left to regroup and possibly find ways to get through our sensible thinking. The Dem's are continually pushing to cut off funding to our troops, and set a date for defeat and withdrawal and now at a critical time.

The answer is simple, Gerald, a good number of the people who started the deep discussions have all been banned for one reason or another.

Instructions on how to be a neocon.
I support the troops who still have moral values, but I don't worship them. I do not support the occupation of Iraq. I believe the opposite of anything George W. Bush says and support Chuck Baldwin for President. I am a Mormon, Libertarian, 9/11 Truther, Alex Jones listener, Ron Paul supporter, and proud of it!

Now would ye be longing fer the days when criminal illegal alien peach farmers were being castigated?  And especially those that enjoy jaunts into Mexico (for new crops of illegal, perhaps)?

We don't need new "comprehensive" immigration laws. We need widespread, well funded enforcement of existing immigration law, i. e. IRCA 1986. http://www.oig.lsc.gov/legis/irca86.htm ANYTHING ELSE IS JUST A BIG CHARADE! Remember the Alamo AND Agents Compean, Ramos, Brugman, Sipe, Rhodes, Deputy Sheriff Hernandez, K-9 Officer Mohr & Noe Aleman. ***Redress it all by repealing the 17th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution: http://www.articlev.com/repeal_the_17...

That's because they all went off on tangents and off subject when someone disagreed with them.  It was their way or the highway and they let other posters know it.

Wasn't even a thought? Remember, I worked with avocado's not peaches.  Hard to believe that was over thirty (30) years ago.  Time sure does zip by.

T.S., You have to agree that BWWhaley and Esquire were exceptional debaters and well educated. Maybe they just couldn't tolerate the slow, sometimes oft times unenlightened and beknighted responses and posts of the F.S. hoi polloi?
