NO drivers license for illegals in USA

Wyoming's new (R) Senator John Barrasso is in the process of getting a FEDERAL law passed that will STOP any state from issuing a driver license to an illegal. Any state that does so will have any & all Federal funding cut off. He was on Fox News today ( Nov 14) with his plans to do this.

Concressman King of NY is doing the same in the House and has 140 sponsors as of today!   He is introducing it in the house this afternoon, so there should be a house bill number in Thomas tomorrow.

Finally someone attempting to do the right thing!

noway2no;  The key word here is attempting.  It seems every time someone takes a step in the right direction there are those who put a stop to it.  Usually in an underhanded way.  Such as stripping the funds for border security after it was passed 95 to 1.  I just don't know how to counteract this crap.  Just when I think we are making progress we get the rug pulled out from under us.

Update: Senator Barrasso's bill states that 10% of federal highway funding will be cut from any state that issues a drivers license to illegals. Why not 100% ? Who knows but it's a start, anything is better than what we have now. Watch la raza and the aclu tear into him.

Wow - you mean we have a real American citizen who is willing to stand up and fight for America and her citizens in the US Senate?

I know there are a few but sometimes it just seems so overwhelmingly few.

Can we all now pray that one day California will come back into the fold of the USA and we can get a "real Senator too!".
