blaze77535 - well if they are all democrats then all you have to do is mention illegals getting benefits on their backs, and they will show up.

Turns out that this debate on illegal immigration is not between Democrats and Republicans but ends up being between American Citizens and their elected leaders.

Just ask Prince Elliott or Hillary (who now says she is against a license for illegals)

By DEVLIN BARRETT, Associated Press Writer Wed Nov 14, 5:26 PM ET

WASHINGTON - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Wednesday came out against granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, after weeks of pressure in the presidential race to take a position on a now-failed ID plan from her home state governor.

Clinton has faced criticism from candidates in both parties for her noncommittal answers on New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer's attempt to allow illegal immigrants in his state to receive driver's licenses. Spitzer abandoned the effort Wednesday.

"I support Governor Spitzer's decision today to withdraw his proposal," Clinton said in a statement. "As president, I will not support driver's licenses for undocumented people and will press for comprehensive immigration reform that deals with all of the issues around illegal immigration including border security and fixing our broken system."

Dem's are feeling the heat in regards to paying for benefits and college educations for illegal aliens whose own oil rich country kicks them out.

The more Dem's find out about how terrible illegal aliens are for America the more they are saying NO!

The Dem's Party Leaders just don't want this "information" to get out because they want to continue to "appear" to be the "party" of the hispanic people (they could care less about real American citizens).

I mean Hillary Clinton has a "La Raza" consultant on her staff.

By the way what is up with Mike Huckabee now in 2nd place in Iowa?  Someone needs to tell those voters in Iowa all the great things Mike did using tax payers money to help his friend Vicente Fox in Arkansas for illegals and the Mexican Consulate.  I think instead of being 2nd in the Iowa poll he should be tried for treason.

Illegal immigration: Finally politicians might be getting the message

Debate over immigration law reform has confounded many analysts who attempt to explain such issues solely in terms of political party ideologies. Both Republicans and Democrats have been on what, to many Americans, is the wrong side of the debate — an emphasis on various proposals that illegal aliens be given amnesty for their misdeeds.

But both Democrats and Republicans, in nearly equal numbers, have signed on to a new initiative to enact a reform measure.

Co-sponsors of a reform bill introduced in the House of Representatives last week include 44 Democrats and 40 Republicans. Their proposal: Make enforcement of immigration law the top priority. Amnesty schemes need to be dropped.

One representative, Jason Altmire, D-Pa., touted the proposal as “the immigration reform bill the American people have been waiting for.”

That remains to be seen, of course, as the bill’s provisions receive scrutiny by the American people. At least the bill’s co-sponsors seem finally to have gotten the simple, basic message from voters — that the vast majority of Americans do not favor amnesty in any form for illegal aliens.

When anyone in Washington says, 'COMPREHENSIVE' I cringe.

They ALL seem to have a habit of Purposefully Miscomprehending, or hoping to talk in so many circles that Americans can not Comprehend that they are going to be SCR**ED!!!

Yes unfortunately they are full of DEMS in NY but there are people who set aside partisan politics to fight this thing. Let's get our country back and there will be plenty of time for partisan politics later TRUST ME :)

Waiting to hear back from everyone. Mostly the marches went well but there was quite the media black out. Organizers in each city are doing a writeup of the days events and getting video and I'll post it on Firesociety as soon as I have it :)

You mean NO COVERAGE at all? Isn't that TYPICAL?! Why is it that when La Raza or other pro illegal groups demonstrate saying WE are hateful because we don't want THEM to have drivers license privileges, access to jobs, our healthcare system, schools, jobs...EVERY CAMERA IS ON THEM?!Yell

MFA hope you are able to post a video...and hope it is posted on YOU TUBE as well for more coverage. At least we have tools to use against the mainstream media....our BIG mouths, persistence and I don't believe I am saying this...but- God Bless the internet- its our only saving grace for the 21st century.  I know ALL of you will pass any pertinent information you glean from these threads on to your contact lists....this is no longer just a heated battle with WE THE PEOPLE VS DC....this is us trying to hang on to our beloved country while ALL are trying to horn in on what belongs to US.

Thanks for the update MFA and keep up the great work!

MFA Washington - the Los Angeles march got on both Channel 2 news and Channel 7 news - small blurbs with photo's of marchers and signs - but they "spun" the reason for the march to make it seem we were against security and trade.
