CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND?

I started a quest for truth about 4 months ago, after defeat #3 of yet another amnesty bill when I just could not figure out why a country as powerful as ours, was not securing its borders.  Nothing was making any sense to me because the government could do it very easily IF THEY WANTED TO.  I was clueless at that time, but imagine my surprise when I went on the August Review web page and read about the hidden agenda for the NAU!  I had heard nothing about it until then and the whole thing sounded like the plot of a Hollywood movie, but – I continued on my quest and read everything I could.  When I got to Daneen Peterson’s web page, I was blown away.  Then I started logging onto FS and continued to be educated.  

I am now, without a doubt, a believer!  I have tried, in my own fashion, to spread the word to everyone.  I started copying articles and e-mailing them with my own comments.  People did not respond.  I have forwarded every petition coming to me from grassfire pleading with people to take a look.  Still they do not respond.  I have forwarded links to people (like Daneen’s Stop the NAU articles) and they just groan when they find these articles to be 30-50 pages long.  So, DELETE! Since it’s so easy to delete an e-mail, I then went to Staples and made dozens of copies of articles and physically started handing them out.  No response. (Can’t really blame them, I guess, none of this stuff is easy reading), but why, in view of the importance, can they not be bothered to take the time TO READ?   I have over 300 pages printed of source material from various web pages.  What did I do with it?  I made powerpoint presentations, very simplistic and short, with colored text and pictures to make it more interesting for them while still trying to get the main message across.  I have heard from very few!  Many don’t even comment on what we, on this FS blog, talk about every day! 

  Someone started a thread with the words, “I’m sick of being called a conspiracy nut”.  Is this really the problem?  Can they not believe with their own eyes – are they in denial – are they too busy?

Are they overpowered with the message?  WHAT????? 

  

One person (whom I consider to a very intelligent ) responded to the video where Turley is interviewed after Bush destroyed Habeas Corpus by saying, “I really don’t think this bill is a bad idea – I’m tired of America having it’s hands tied with the terrorists.”  Is the propaganda that good?  Is America so paralyzed with fear over the threat of the Islamic-Fascists that it no longer cares that 200 years of citizen’s rights have been taken away at the signing of a bill?  Another friend, whom I dearly love and respect, is ex-military and had no problem with the NDAA act, either.  Now that’s scary because the military is who we really need to educate!  It’s like a darkness has covered people’s minds……

  And so I am making a plea to all of you.  I have done three of these slide shows and I e-mailed the 2^nd one to Daneen.  She thanked me for trying to reach out to the “groaners”, but she said for most, there is little hope if they don’t want to read what is before their very eyes.  My address book is very limited – most people’s are – 50 at best, so if anyone would like to see these and be willing to send them to everyone in their address book – maybe that’s a start!  I am losing the music when I e-mail them so they are silent “films”, but with bright colors for the kindergartners to hold their interest! I also asked Sean on this blog, somewhere in Community Help, if it would be possible to post them here, but he did not respond.  If you would like to see these and are willing to e-mail them out, please send me a PM……..I still believe “The Education of America” is our one, bright hope!  PLEASE HELP!

I went thru the same thing, I finally gave up and spent the time changing my investments to reflect the American downfall and the Chinese and Asian gains due to our politicians selling out our country and it's citizens. 

The last time I looked Fidelity Southeast Asia fund was up 70% for the year and Matthews China fund was up 120% this year. We may lose our country due the unresponsiveness of it's citizens but hopefully I will be able to move to Austrailia (They just told radical muslems to hit the road) when it happens. 

My goal was to confront some of our political crud face to face and tell them what kind of a real traitor they were before they could remove me, but as I look around there is just not enough people to defeat the traitors and go back to Constitutional government.

 

So, invest right , buy gold and watch the fireworks.

Your despair (justifiable) had the opposite effect on me this morning. Yesterday, I was feeling just like you. We Americans deserve everything we get. I won't go on because the people on this site are here because we care. We are trying to do something about it. We need to thank Elliott Spitzer for waking up the fata**es sitting around their TV sets and letting the country go down the drain. Spitzer's failure, his possible negative impact on the cunning, sleazy Hellary may make a difference.

Don't give up. I too, was evaluating moving to Australia. If I do, I will have stopped fighting for my country. Why should I stop now after all the years , including four years of active military duty? This republic needs you and people like you.

My fear, as usual, is that there will have to be blood in the streets to resolve the absolute corruption of the Congress and the employers of America who put increased profits before the well-being of our country.

I heard an expression last week. It may have been around for a long time, but it's new to me.

"I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees."

What is ours, is ours. It's not "theirs" to give away. No SPP. No NAU.

Remember , about 70% or more of us are opposed to what is happening. Most are just too lazy to get up and do something about it until someone sticks a finger in their eye.. But look what has happened to The Las Vegas Police Department because, at least we were not too lazy to fax, email and telephone them after they called the Minutemen  a "terrorist organization".

Last --pray, pray, pray.

 No jobs for illegal immigrants. Jail time for employers of illegal immigrants.

Get rid of any politician that is supported by labor intensive industries, such as the poultry industry, unless they have at leasta "B+" on NumbersUSA Immigration Report Card.

Labrador - I applaud your efforts and understand your frustration.  I too started forwarding e-mails and information to a large part of my e-mail list, and received no responses, but I continue to email from time to time information that I think is critical.

Much to  my surprize, after a couple months several of the people on my list started sending ME e-mails of articles and issues relating to the SPP and NAU.  They are listening and watching, and actually some of them have gotten actively involved in other groups, but not FS.  Just because they aren't responding doesn't mean they aren't listening.

I raised 3 kids and I always realized that when I talked to them, they weren't always listening or cared - at the time, but I kept talking and talking over and over again about the same things.  I knew one day they would 'make the connection'.  They did.  All adults now, they have all thanked me for 'talking' to them and never giving up, and said it really made a difference.

People may ignore what you say, but trust me - they are listeneing and thinking!  I have found the most effective method of getting my message across is to keep the information brief and alluring.  Just enough information to peak curiosity for more, and one thing, article or subject at a time.  That, people will read and whether they realize it or not, will absorb.  I send something out once every two weeks or so - an article, a website, a rally announcement, things like that.

Don't give up!  We all need to keep educating people.

Also, have you considered taking your power points to one of the MFA rallies and giving a presentation as a speaker?  If you let your local friends know you are going to be a speaker, they might come to support you. - just a thought.

Keep up the fight. The NAU/SPP is very much alive. Plus, the media is running amock. You can see it all too well.

Labrador,  I am sure you have gotten through to some, however, if you present your argument in segments, like peeling an onion, the effect will sink in. People all have their own beliefs, and if you launch a frontal assult, then you will be repulsed by their ego. Take the time to expose a secret, then ask who, what, where, when, why and how. Allow a little time for some original thought before you expose the next secret. In the end, if you provide the bricks, the readers will build the wall for you.

The people are awakening to these issues, and we still have about one year till the election, so don't be defeated, become stronger and wiser. Another thing I find is that some people need to be told it's okay to change their beliefs to this new point of view. They are feeling around, waiting for approval.

An example I can give is my daughter.  She's in this mode of 'don't watch the news, it's too negative'...'keep a positive attitude and only positive in your life'.

So when the opportunity presents itself, I make short comments like, 'well, I won't necessarily be affected in 10 or 20 years, but YOU and your husband and children will definitely be living in a much different, less free Country if people don't start paying attention'.  Then I change the subject and go on to chatter. 

Or, one day I said, 'well, come back and talk to me about not getting 'political' when you no longer have freedoms of a U.S. citizen'.  She said, 'why wouldn't I have freedoms?'  I said 'because ours is a sovereign nation, and without it, we would be under another government, not our constitution, and it's our Constitution that gives us that freedom'.  The last time she came over, she asked me to write down some websites that could give her more information.

I know curiosity is a good hook, and you are correct, just because they don't say anything, doesn't mean they aren't listening. And Amador, your thoughts are right in line with mine because I have sent these out in three separate shows, about 10 days apart, reiterating the previous messages and then expounding on them more each time. If you are able, please email the powerpoint to me Labrador...I have a large list of people I correspond with....my friend in Florida will TAKE IT TO HER CHURCH GROUP. Remember...each of us has 30-50 friends we email....we could spread this like wildfire 

And about posting powerpoints on this site....I am sorry that I do not have the technical background to help you with that...I would LOVE to see it on here. Please PM Deerhunter, he may be able to help you with posting the powerpoint.

And Labrador....they don't want our borders secure because someone on high has their "own agenda" for this country and it does not involve WE THE PEOPLE! Very sad, isnt it?

 After the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, a wise Japanese General said "We have awakened a sleeping giant". He understood the BIG piocture.

What I see happening today is a lot of Americans waking up and really getting angry at the way our mis-Representatives are spitting in our faces. I also deal with some younger ones who don't have a clue. So, as explained in an earlier post, I drop a little info here and there. I don't want to turn them off.

WE have one powerful weapon,   the Internet. If we use it effectively, it can make a big difference.  I also ran across another site where someone was saying that we should be working with our State legislatures. The states created the Federal government and they can take it back. It may take a big knock down drag out fight, but there is way more of us than of them.

So I keep emailing and talking.

I tried to create an article and it just disappeared. This seems like a reasonable thread to share this onformation.

I will admit I did not want to believe that the NAU was real AT FIRST....there is that initial gut reaction as an American patriot that told me "NO, your own government wouldn't sell out our country". Now like Labrador my gut is telling me something different- and I HATE the queasy feeling it gives me. It's like having your best friend put a knife in your back....

I have long heard people "speculate" that by the year 2050...the planet Earth would be ONE GLOBAL GOVERNMENT....a Greek Senate System type of entity where only the rich and elite are permitted to vote.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am NOT READY to give up my country to a ONE WORLD government. The NAU's plan to combine Mexico, US and Canada is bad enough. It makes me sick to my stomach to think about it. It may very well be ( and I can't verify this) that they only want our 3 countries in North America "linked" by road and railways only....for easier trade. (and easy access for illegals and terrorists too....)

Labrador is right.....they COULD secure our borders in no time flat...BUT- since they refuse to do so- does that mean we have been duped?

Socrates believed only the "best and brightest" among us would be ELECTED to lead by the people.  Do we elect the "best and brightest" among us to lead?

I feel as if EVERYTHING is escalating......the illegal situation, Big Business with its fingers in EVERYTHING, being ignored by our own elected  officials while THEIR STAFFERS BASH WE THE PEOPLE and our security and sovereignty wavering in the wind. Are we "up for grabs" like a steak at the butcher?

What we see, so far, is just the tip of the iceberg. We are being undermined and sold down the river in a dozen ways. For example, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), guarding the peoples health? Heck no. They are guarding the profits of Big Pharma selling high priced drugs that can be dangerous to your health. But try to use inexpensive remedies that have been used safely for 1000 years and you will have a real battle on your hands.

It is all about money, where big money represents control. Anything else and better watch out. But we can, and will turn this around. it takes time.

The sneaky NAU guys thought they could pass this before anyone found out. But the word got out and there are numerous organizations sending the no-longer secret info to millions of their members. But they are the big money guys that control newspapers, TV, movies etc., and are able to mold the public to believe that up is down, and white is black, etc. People are presntly organizing to throw legal roadblocks in the way of NAU. Of course, they will try again. They think that we didn't notice our fqctories being shipped to foreign countries, our jobs disappearing, whole townd being wiped out by plant closings, etc.

Everyone affected by these events is highly pissed off at "our" administration and "our" Congress  and are ready to fight. They merely ask "Where do I sign up?"

And Hershey.....my beloved AMERICAN CHOCOLATE is building a huge plant in Mexico? I can understand them wanting to be closer to the best vanilla in the world....but MY HERSHEY? I'm switching to Esther Price PERMANENTLY...she's more expensive- but totally made in America (the best Chocolate in Ohio!)

Freddie....excellent points. How smart to OWN the media, big business- EVERYTHING and be able to hide behind a curtain and "pull strings" while your puppets do your bidding.

HOWEVER.....those of us "in the know" are wise to not be led by the nose down a rosy garden path by our mainstream media. Our mission is to make those in a state of "apathy" AWARE of what is going on in this country. There are MILLIONS who prefer to watch Entertainment tonight and see what stupid stunt Brittney has pulled off recently instead of paying attention to what is going on in our own country. And these people are allowed to vote? They are CLUELESS!
