       There is an interesting article in today’s Wall Street Journal by Karl Rove, titled “ A Failure To Lead”, the subtitle reads “The Democratic Congress is more interested in acting out than in taking positive action”. Lol. This is most definitely a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Hey Mr Rove, maybe the Democrat Congress learned about inaction during your six years of inaction in the White House. 

 

        Here is your country, over run with an unofficial estimate of 38 million illegal alien invaders and you have the nerve to talk about the other useless political party and their inactions over the course of a year. Here is the American people, out of work, out of business, bankrupt, every community flooded with illegal aliens, our educational system on the edge of the abyss, our health system shot to hell, corrupt politicians and law enforcement officials and all you can do is talk crap about a political party that is just as sorry and useless as your own is?

 

       You, George Bush, John McCain Lindsey Graham and all the rest most definitely live in a different America than I do. Every time I read an article about one of you, both Democrat and Republican, I just want to go outside and scream to the heavens, because I am so angry. I am a registered Republican but I am so completely fed up with every politician everywhere. The only thing you are able to do efficiently is to talk crap about each party while entirely forgetting about We the People. You, remember, the ones that elect you do-nothing politicians? The ones that all of you forget about until election time nears? Like my buddy, Lindsey Graham?

 

        In Rove’s article, he whines about the Democrat’s fiscal discipline about spending 205 billion more that the president proposed over the next five years. Well, Mr Rove, wake up to the real America. In case you haven’t heard, or don’t know it because of the thick walls of the glass house you live in, the American people have spent over 2 trillion hard earned dollars on our friendly illegal alien invaders in the past seven years. Six of them on your watch! I noticed those figures weren’t included in your article and I thought I would mention it for you since you so conveniently left it out.

 

       Now, for your information, and every politician in Washington and here, both Democrat and Republican, I would like to detail a few of my personal problems, and they are not political. These are simply things a lot of Americans, myself included, are being forced to face on a daily basis because of the inaction by both political parties. My total profits for my business this week was 275 dollars, last year the same week was 4850 dollars. My house payment is one month behind, my vehicle is three months behind, my electricity will be cut off first thing Tuesday morning (I get a day of grace on that because of Veterans Day on Monday, of which I am one) unless I am there to pay it in person. And my cell phone bill is due this week coming up, which I am two months behind. I do not have any work at all lined up for my business next week but the bills keep a coming. They never stop, just like the illegals never stop.

 

           I was at my bank today getting a form my wife needs for next week’s appointment with INS, and in walks five Hispanics to cash their paychecks. Lol. Just imagine, here I am almost bankrupt after being in business for twenty years and I get to watch people who are criminally running me out of business cash their hard earned paychecks. I wish you could have been there, to see the depth of my anger, to see how hard it is for me to watch my business go down the drain. But, Mr Rove, you don’t care one whit about common American people like me because if you did I would not be in this position. If you cared about the American people then you would have done everything within your power to convince El Presidente to close our border off on Sept 12^th 2001. If you cared about the American people, then we wouldn’t be over run with 38 million illegal alien invaders. So take all your articles, and all your opinions, and all your useless politicians of both stripes and shove them where the sun don’t shine.

 

         And for all of you politicians, of both stripes, I am doing the same exact thing millions of other Americans are doing because we are so fed up with you, I will be a registered Independent come this time next year because I want to see every last one of you useless people gone and replaced by competency. Hey, I just had an idea, since when you are in session and you call each other honorable this and that, why don’t you use some of that personal honor you attempt to bestow, and resign en masse for the good of your country and the American people? Why don’t you think of us for once and do the right thing?

   

lone protester;  I just want to let you know that I sympathize with you.  My husband and I are not quite as bad off as you are yet but the time is coming.  There was a time when I couldn't understand how a nation as great as this could have senior citizens having to choose between buying food or medicine.  It was unfathomable.  Well if things don't change we are going to be two more of them.  It just breaks my heart to hear stories like yours and others as well as our own impending situation when it should be a no-brainer with this government as to what they should be doing.  I just don't see how in the world they can let foreign invaders come in and then dictate to our government what they want.  And worse yet they get what they want.  The ACLU should be charged with aiding and abetting as well as churches and any other entity that gives them aid of any kind.  I wish I could give you a solution to your problem but we all know that our pleas are falling on deaf ears.

Between both parties and the Administration, not only you, but the country will be bankrupt very soon.  It's hard to say exactly when, but other countries are steering away from anything denominated in dollars.

Back in the late 70's and early 80's Paul Volcker was the Fed Chairman and raised interest rates in order to cure inflation rates that were all the way up into the low 20% range.  What they are doing now is (Bernanke and Company) lowering the rates in order to save the banks and lending institutions from their poor judgement as to whom they would lend money.  When Bernanke again lowers rates, as seems to be the only strategy he knows in order to satisfy the banking industry's need to be rescued, oil will spike up again well over $100/bbl.  It is not so much their perceived stupidity we are witnessing.  It is more likely that they are creating the environment for instability in order to seize more power to enable an agenda of domination by the elite.

      Hey tencz57, My closest friend here in Columbia, SC is a Viet Nam vet also. He drove a city bus for 27 years and one day about a month ago he uttered the unspeakable words of illegal aliens to a craphead that was employing them, for his crime he got fired from that 27 year job, now he is in Saint Louis training to be a long distance trucker. By the way, thank you for those long years of service to your country. LP 

But there is no failure to lead. They are leading us all to the poor house - unfortunately I don't think we have those anymore either.

I have always registered as an independent since I began to vote many moons ago. Last month, I received a phone call from the Republican party asking for a donation - they requested $250.00. When I laughed and told them my circumstances of being a retired widow on a fixed income, they suggested a more modest donation of $125.00. I just laughed and told them I would start to save up from my coming $2/month social security raise. Then, I hung up.

Are they allowed to solicit when you are not even registered that way? I guess, they can do whatever they want!
