Hi all - thought I'd start this thread to get Fire Society members to post if they are going to be at the Houston rally next Saturday, Nov. 17th!

If you are, please post a note, and I thought maybe to identify ourselves, we could put "FS" in a corner of our signs so we can meet/greet each other!

If you haven't signed up yet or need more info, contact libertyin2008@gmail.com - website is: http://mfa.allamericanpodcaster.com/houston/

You are already aware that a party of (4) will be attending from Baton Rouge, La.  One of our party is a LEGAL immigrant and is angry (to put it mildly), becuse she did it right despite the cost and time it took. She is NOT of hispanic heritage.

OK - I've finally calmed down enough to type.  This, for me, is the LAST STRAW!

I went to my local Walmart this afternoon to get some supplies, including some smaller flags, to get ready for the March for America.

Outside, a table was set up, manned by veterans, selling Veteran's Day poppies.  Happy Veterans Day

I stopped by and thanked them for their service and sacrifices, bought a poppy, and went into the store to shop.

I went to the area where American flags  Flag 2 are sold, and right in the middle of them were Mexican Flags   Mexico - separately and sets with poles.  That's way more than enough for me - I'm on the warpath!

Oh NO you don't!

Jim;  How in the world did you manage to not tear that store apart?  I think I would've had to somehow, accidentally of course, knocked all the Mexican flags onto the floor and stepped all over them.  I wonder if they were made in China like some US flags I've seen?  They were probably made in the USA.  I would've gone and asked to speak to the manager and even though he probably isn't the one who made the decision to sell Mexican flags I would have let him know what a slap in the face I thought it was.  Of course I wouldn't be doing this at WalMart because I stopped shopping there a long time age.

Mammaw, it wasn't easy, believe you me!  Everywhere I go seems like I'm in a border town, which is fine if that's what I wanted to do, but I don't!  Everthing seems like it's   in Spanish - signs, ads on in-store TV's, clerks, customers - ENOUGH!!!!!

JIM what are you doing shopping at WALMART!!??? LOL!  You should boycott them. Besides the Mexican flags they are nothing but Communist China's Retail Outlet! I never shop there and encourage everyone I know to avoid them at all costs, even if it ends up costing them a little more to buy somewhere else.

We do not want to offend the Chinese - they hold most of our debt!  AND, I like lead paint! Shy Whistler

What's the matter - not enough Spanish in the Dallas area, so you have to go to San Antonio? Laughing

I'll try to take some pictures - just hope my camera doesn't get busted!  Sounds like we're gonna have a good March for America - 'bout time!

Have fun in SA!!  We'll be through there next Tuesday heading for the Hill Country for Thanksgiving!

Great darthlung!  Sounds like we're gonna have a great turnout!  Glad I didn't go elsewhere and look at soccer stuff..............I was hot enough about the flags!  I thought about talking to the manager, but figured I'd get the same response you did...........Argh...............

They just opened up a brand new Wal-mart here by me, like just down the road, it's not like the high end one they have in Plano but it is alittle more fancy than the regular wal-marts, purposly went in Friday to see if the signs were in English and Spanish, did not see one Spanish sign, I was ready to go talk to the manager if I did.I actually brought a magnetic Support The Troops ribbon, the Red, White and Blue one for my car, the last one I had went missing, got that one in Lake George N.Y. Most all the cashiers I saw did not look hispanic and actually everyone I came across spoke English, Alot of people around here tried to fight Wal-mart comming in, not for the right reasons, they didnt want "THOSE" people comming to shop here, mind you these are the same people who knowingly have THOSE people cleaning their homes and mowing their yards, They go down to the Highway and pick up the workers on Saturdays and Sundays to do work for them, In my opinion people like that are as much to blame for Illegal immigration as Big business is.

Jim- Hope to see your pictures when you get back, I hope to have fun in San Antonio this weekend, First time ever going away for fun without my children, just my sister-in-law and I. Rough couple of years for both of us,Family losses and such, We need to laugh and relax!!

Haven't been there in years, but I think they have underground parking!  My son tells me downtown parking rates have gone thru the roof, too!

Just got this email from libertyin2008 - FYI:

On FS - in regards to parking - I was told all metered parking is free on the weekend. I was also told there are garages near City Hall and the park... We are setting up at 9 - so you shouldn't miss the area to congregate.
