There are a lot of politicians here in South Carolina that I hold accountable for my present predicament of going bankrupt, by refusing to enforce our laws when countless numbers of people are breaking them. But the one that is a shining example of the ultimate betrayal of small businessmen in my state is her illustrious senator, Lindsey Graham. Every time I read anything about that guy I get a sensation in the middle of my stomach like I want to throw up. This man, this so called senator, has done everything in his power to make sure I go bankrupt and out of business because of his catering to the massive numbers of criminals in South Carolina and indeed, people who are not even citizens of this great state.
Every time a bill has come up in the Senate the last two years dealing with amnesty for illegal aliens, people who have willingly broken our laws to come here, Senator Lindsey Graham has been in the forefront of this legislation to accommodate them. All to the detriment of thousands of small businessmen like me, native South Carolinians who have been in business for years and years and are feeling the effects of this massive, willing neglect of our laws. A lot of us have already been forced to the wayside, thousands more are in the exact same position I presently find myself in and it never gets better, it only gets worse and worse.
And the number one person I have to thank for it is my senior senator. Because of his catering, because of his refusal to demand that our laws be enforced, because of his constant sucking up to people and organizations that do not have the best interest of this state at heart, we are over run with a half million people that have invaded this state and are constantly demanding things which they are not due. From free social services, to free schooling, to subsidized housing and to the job and business market, South Carolina is an illegal aliens dream come true. From no enforcement of our laws, to stealing all the jobs they want, to running legitimate people out of business, my infamous senator will stand beside you, nay, he will watch and protect your back because somewhere down the road he is expecting? What? That they will vote for him? LOL!!!
I have written my senator twice, in the last two years, detailing my problems with competing with invaders in the business market, and it took 4 months for him to respond
the last time. The response? How his position on comprehensive immigration reform is the best approach for South Carolinians and America in general. About how our state and country needs this massive influx of invaders because businesses here are so short of workers. And about how we need to welcome them all with open arms and to assist them in every way possible.
To assist them in every way possible? To break our laws? Because that is just the policy he has been advocating. Last year, my worthless senator, the one who took Senator Strom Thurmond’s seat, spoke to a group of Hispanic racists called La Raza and had the nerve to call Americans like me racists and bigots. To him, someone like me who is a small businessman, is a racist because I am complaining about being ran out of business by illegal competition. Where does this idiot thinks he lives and resides, in Mexico? Who does he thinks he represents, Mexicans? Someone in his office needs to slap him one good time to wake him up to the real world. Because in the real South Carolina, people are starting to get angry at him, angry at him because of his lopsided policies and his constant refusal to help the citizens of his state.
And speaking of the real world, our illustrious senator was in the state last week. Why you ask? Simply that there is an election coming up soon and he is starting to get worried about his chances for re-election. So he had to come down from fantasyland to visit the people of his state, to ask them for their money and votes. And he was escorted by none other than El Presidente Bush. Lol. And all that it was about was the big businessmen and local politicians here, the ones that are aiding and abetting all the criminals. Our senator succeeded in getting over 600 thousand dollars from them for his re-election campaign. And where were the common people while he was here? Why, they, like me, couldn’t afford the 250 dollar a plate dinner because of the adverse effects of illegal aliens and their employers here. So while they are eating dinner with the senator and his compadres I am stuck with trying to figure out how to simply pay my bills and stay in business.
So, Lindsey Graham, you go on back to your fantasy land. We, the common people of South Carolina will go about our daily lives of struggling against people who so easily break our laws. We will go out to jobsites every day, to listen to Hispanic music, to hear the Hispanic language spoken, to constantly struggle in the local business world against illegal competition. But one thing though, we will meet again one day, soon, at the Republican primary and at the general election, because you have forgotten one overriding thing that should concern you more than any other, and that is, it is the common people of South Carolina who will decide if you deserve to stay in office, and not a bunch of criminal illegal alien invaders and their employers. Keep that fact forefront in your mind because a day of reckoning is coming for you. And I will be one of the first ones to vote for your opponent or to just, simply not vote for you at all. Like hundreds of thousands of fellow citizens that are completely fed up with your actions. Nay!, I would not vote for you again even if you were running for dogcatcher!!!
I think Lindsay is hitting the tequila bottle pretty hard with Ted Blub Blub Kennedy Look at the red nose on both of them a sure sign of alcohol abuse.
TEXAS: One of the few states that can secede from the Union.
I saw where Lindsey Graham is now supposedly calling out Dem's:
Graham says border-security measure yanked from defense bill
By JAMES ROSEN
McClatchy Newspapers
WASHINGTON | Sen. Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, said Tuesday that Democrats had stripped from a defense spending bill a $3 billion border-security amendment that the Senate passed overwhelmingly last month.
Graham said Democrats also attached conditions to the Iraq war funding, leading all Republican senators on a conference committee to refuse to sign the panel’s report.
“I’m incredibly disappointed,” Graham said in an interview. “Congress would serve itself well if we funded border security as my amendment proposes, and it would help us move the immigration debate further down the road.”
Graham said Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska, the senior Republican on the defense appropriations subcommittee, had informed him of the changes.
The Senate voted 95-1 on Oct. 3 to include Graham’s border-security measure in a broader bill providing $648 billion to the Pentagon, including $196 billion for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Senate passed the overall defense spending bill by a 92-3 vote later the same day.
The House of Representatives passed its Pentagon appropriations measure on Aug. 4. Both chambers will have to vote on a unified bill produced by the conference committee of senators and representatives.
Among the conditions put on the war funding by conference committee Democrats, Graham said, was a requirement that some of the money be tied to timetables for the Bush administration to change U.S. troops’ mission in Iraq.
Democratic lawmakers in the House and Senate have failed to place restraints on war funding this year. President Bush vetoed a supplemental spending bill over such attempts, and congressional Democrats lacked the votes to override his veto.
“These (new) conditions on how to spend the money are a back-door effort to change our strategy in Iraq and deny funding at a time when we’re making progress in Iraq,” Graham said.
Graham’s immigration amendment would fund building 700 miles of fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border, erecting more vehicle barriers at urban crossings and installing additional ground sensors.
The measure also would pay for detention centers for immigrants who overstay their visas or commit other crimes. It would provide money for state and local agencies to be trained in helping the federal government enforce immigration laws.
Graham’s amendment had been added to a comprehensive immigration bill in June in a failed bid to move the broader measure through the Senate.
Aides to Democratic leaders of the Senate and the House failed Tuesday evening to return phone calls seeking comment on Graham’s claims, or said they didn’t know anything about the issues. Graham planned to hold a news conference Wednesday with other senators.
Talk about calling the kettle black - Some REAL anti-illegal immigration supporter needs to take his place at the Senate table -
NUMBERS USA rates him a D as per his voting record in the Senate.
You need to make sure those in S.Carolina are on to his "game" of bait and switch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YEP - they all seem to straddle the fence, huh? BUT..........we're watching you!!!!
Oh NO you don't!
TEXAN...NO - I WON'T FORGET THE ALAMO! "Where's the Fence???" RINO huntin' season started January 10th (but ended January 22nd)! FRED has left the building!!!! MITT has entered my world! Oops, MITT left my world too soon also (on February 7th)! Dang, can't catch a break -- but Hillary, Obama, and McCain aren't it either (nor Huckabee, Paul, Keyes, Nader, ad nauseum)!
Could it be that you are just a "bad" business person who made "bad" business descisions and you are now in search of a scape-goat - someone to blame for your inability to run your own business? It's always easier to to place the blame on other people for our mistakes and blunders rather than to look within ourselves for what we may done wrong, isn't it?
Phil; You must not watch any of the Senate proceedings. Lindsey Graham is lower than a snake's belly and I emailed him and told him so. I watch C-Span whenever the Senate is in session and there are some senators that are just as pro illegal alien as Graham is but none any more so. He couldn't care less about the American citizens and businessmen and women. I know that some business owners do indeed make their own problems but Lindsey Graham is so against the American citizens that I'm sure there are more businesses that are going under because of illegal aliens than from their own mismanagement or mistakes.
Phil Covone - well it could be OR it could be like the Tyson Food situation.
I know here in CA alot of Gardening services run by Southern CA family owned companies went out of business because they could not compete with the gardening services that hired illegals. I had a friend this happened to and the family owned business that he ran with his Dad and Brother.
I also know many in the construction field who lost their jobs again because of the contractors who could under bid those contractors who hired legal workers vs illegal aliens. These same "illegal aliens" originally came over to work in the farm fields (supposedly) but left when they found out they could get more money in construction.
In fact Rick Sanchez in "Out in the Open" on CNN (I can'ts stand that show but caught one of the very first episodes) had a guy on I think from SC who was a third generation construction worker in a special field - but he had lost all his jobs because of the illegals undercutting his bids. Rick Sanchez's solution was not to send the illegals home - but instead to get a "contractors license". I remember it because if someone told me I had to leave my line of work - passed down 3 generations in my family because of illegal aliens - who had no right to even be in the country I would go balastic. I still can't believe that an American Citizen would put the concerns of an illegal alien from another country who bascially thru them out, ahead of an American Citizen - well that was the last day I will ever watch Rick Sanchez.

We also have family members that were 'squeezed' out of their industries due to lower-wage illegals. Had NOTHING to do with the way the did their job or ran their business.
Sanchez is a jerk. I've sent him a few scathing e-mails. Don't watch him anymore as he is obviously an illegal sympathizer. I told him he should go live in Mexico to make his money, and send it here to the US to his family if he thinks that's such a cool concept.
Phil: I am sorry but your comment to lone protester was not very nice. You have no idea what is like to be in business for yourself. Most people do what they can to get where they want to be and lone protester said he was in business for himself for a long time and all of he sudden his dream to leave a legacy for his family has been vanished because some homeowners would rather hire cheap labor than paying the estimate wages any person in business will deserve to get paid.
I hear over and over all the abuse americans have to put up with just because these illegal aliens are taking american jobs.
Please put yourself in the shoes of this man and see what you would do if you were him. If he is coming to this forum and express his frustration I believe it is because he knows we are supporting him with some comfort word and it is the only way he can get his stress out.
I hope you will never have to go through what lone protester and his family are going through.
speakengl - Yes, I agree when it comes to Sanchez. BUT I have to say it is not unusual in the "hispanic" community to find many who think like he does. They or their families don't understand the foundation of America and the men and women who fought for her. They most recently, like in Sanchez's case came over from Cuba or elsewhere and would not even be here if not for what was going on in their own government of the country they came from. So though they come and enjoy America they don't really feel a duty to her and her history and the people who gave their lives for her.
How else can you explain his reaction when he told a 3rd generation construction worker (who had a specialized field but I can't remember if it was a dry waller or ??) and suggest that since illegal aliens took his job then why doesn't he become a contractor?
Well you know what Sanchez why don't you become a ex-American citizen.
Forgot to also say they didn't fight for their rights in their own countries now did they? NOPE! If they did then how come Mexico is so corrupt? and pushes it's people over the border to get rid of them and then never has to deal with any of the consequences of it's behavior?
Someone should NAIL President Fox and Calderon to the wall on this issue!
I bet Fox doesn't go against Lou Dobbs cause he knows he can't win!

Each person is entitled to their own opinion. It seems like to me that you are in a business or a job where you don't have to worry about illegal competition. At least not yet and I hope you never do. The main point, which you seem to have overlooked, is that our entire way of life is being destroyed and no one gives a damn. Don't you care that your country is becoming so corrupted? Or are you just one of those people that are led willingly to the slaughterhouse? I might be run out of business, but I will fight it every step of the way. And if you want to see some pictures of my work, send me a private email with your address. I consider myself damn good at what I do and I have the pictures to back it up.

Lone Protester - WE are all behind you. I didn't respond to Phil C because I didn't think his comment was worthy of response.
I'm still with you Bud - and wish I could hear you in Atlanta - but I'll be here in Houston. Maybe you need to make the circuit sometime?

LOl, I wish I could but I cannot afford it at the present time. I was on Rhonda's radio program Veritable Cornucopia in Houston last Sunday. She said she is helping to organize the March for America in Houston on Nov 17th.

Phil is a BOZO. Lindsey Graham is a dangerous punk. I live on the other coast and have never voted for my national reps. yet they keep getting sent back to Washington. It maks me want to puke.
went to your web-site LP . made me feel that your living my life ! yes , we've "ALL" been Sold-out by our elected officals . Senator B.Nelson thinks i'm so lucky to have him as my rep down here in Fla . well he graded out a D- on the votes for "Illegals" and is a strong supporter of the Dream-Act as he told me in a letter .
Well i'm really praying for you . cause if your life gets better so will mine ! no joke .
Mexicans work so cheap that middle-class folks like me can't afford to be in business . plain and simple . 2 jobs and my business down the tubes to a rotten paid off gov and ILLEGALS . Road Rage is nothing to the way i feel
Nam Vet 1967/1970 , 29 months there 4 a group of war profiteers . Skull & Bones can KMA
I may be banned for saying this, but I have noticed this Phil Covone in more that one post has turned the problem back on the person who listed it. Then he closes with "Love in Christ" as his tagline. Inconsistent and insulting. If he paid any attention to how Americans are losing their jobs to illegals who will accept dirt cheap wages, he would not do that. Lone Protestor--I believe I will be seeing you in Atlanta on 11/17. I hope your world gets straightened out--you are one of those who have been directly affected by this invasion.
