Lone Protester- Freedom Is Not Free                   11/02/07

"But you must remember, my fellow-citizens, that eternal vigilance by the people is the price of liberty, and that you must pay the price if you wish to secure the blessing.  It behooves you, therefore, to be watchful in your States as well as in the Federal Government." -- Andrew Jackson, Farewell Address, March 4, 1837.

President Andrew Jackson spoke those words 170 years ago and they were meant to be a warning to future generations of Americans. They ring truer today than at almost any other time in our past. Our government was put there by the people to be our servants and not our masters. To keep this country on the right path and to protect her from all enemies, foreign and domestic. We put them there to be our leaders and instead they have become tyrants without our permission.

Freedom and liberty is not free. It comes with a price that sometimes is almost to great to bear.  And for a long time Americans have become complacent and forgotten those words and our country is suffering for it. This country is becoming a very dangerous place to live for American citizens and every day that goes by it gets worse. And it is we that have made it that way, by letting our politicians become tyrants that do not perform their responsibilities as the American people require of them. Instead, they try to push us down a path that is at odds with We the People and the Constitution.

Why is it so hard for our politicians to understand the words “ENFORCE OUR LAWS!!! We pride ourselves on being called a nation of laws. A nation, where the rule of law is supposed to trump everything and no one or thing is above it. A country, where if you break a law you pay a price. What is so hard to understand that? Why are not the people and businesses that are breaking our laws on a massive scale be called to account? I always thought that ignorance was no excuse under the law.

But there are some bright spots on the horizon. Oklahoma, bless her, finally enacted laws that her citizens have been screaming for. Now, if only my state and every other one follows her example. Thousands of illegal aliens have left Oklahoma recently and are still leaving, Attorney William Sanchez of the National Coalition of Latino Clergy and Christian Leaders says, “they’re trying to scare people and they’re saying we don’t want you here”. Well, I say to him, every one of them have broken our laws, and since we are a nation of laws then they must pay a price. Just like I did when I was jailed for cursing. Just like I am facing 60 days in jail for that major offense. What is so hard to understand about that? What is so hard to understand about if you can’t come through the front door then stay out of the back entrance.

Here is another one, In response to Oklahoma enacting anti-illegal alien laws, Alex Yoguez says her juice business is normally filled with customers but that now, her business is off 50 %. Poor woman. Well, I say to her, boo hoo, cry me a handful. My business, which I have been running for 20 years now, is so far down the tubes that it has almost reached critical mass. Yesterday, I went to make a car payment, of which I was four behind. In the last two months my business has grossed what I made in a week this time two years ago. So why should I feel sorry for you? It is because of people like you, and the businesses you run that my mine is almost bankrupt. It is because of you and people like you that my industry is over run with illegal aliens and their employers. And it is because of people like you that my government has decided that it will enforce some laws and close their eyes to others. And it turns my stomach.

This country is America, and Americans own her. A small ruling elite might think they do but it is up to us to prove them wrong. And it is time for citizens everywhere, to demand of our leaders that our laws be enforced, everywhere, and that nobody and nothing gets a free pass. Nothing could be simpler. And that is why freedom is not free and why we must stay forever vigilant. Because our freedom and liberty are at stake. I opened this letter with a quote from a great American and I want to close it with wise words from another.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. ... God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion; what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance?  Let them take arms." -- Thomas Jefferson

I too have been paying a price here in what once was known as a great State of Florida. I am with you Lone. After I lost my contracts to Home Depot...grrrrrrrr...from you know who as the same happened to you, I now have a medial job that barely makes it, but I do keep hanging in there as I am sure you are trying to do also. Believe me, I feel ya.

The difference between you and I is the fact that I haven't been caught. I won't go any further with this as I don't need a hate crime put against me. This is sad man. Real sad and I still say if you are in this Country illegally, then you have already committed the crime, and I don't want to be caught up with them if you know what I mean.

Keep us posted ok?

Respectfully,

About Me: Keep The 2nd. Ammendment Alive At All Cost!! God gave us this right through man. Let us know, Lone,  if your legal counsel is going to try to get you a reduced sentence (from the 60 days) because of your extenuating circumstances, and your loss of income through your work situation.

Many of us here understand your situation as we have faced the same dilemma  of an illegal being awarded sub contract work over an able bodied American citizen.  We pray for your situation.

Wow!! 60 days!!  That's more than OJ Simpson, Robert Blake, Michael Jackson and California's Orange County Sheriff Mike Corona together got, or in Corona's case will probably get.  Justice is so unfair.  Shame on every last one of them that has brought you to these circumstances.

We don't need new "comprehensive" immigration laws. We need widespread, well funded enforcement of existing immigration law, i. e. IRCA 1986. http://www.oig.lsc.gov/legis/irca86.htm ANYTHING ELSE IS JUST A BIG CHARADE! Remember the Alamo AND Agents Compean, Ramos, Brugman, Sipe, Rhodes, Deputy Sheriff Hernandez, K-9 Officer Mohr & Noe Aleman. ***Redress it all by repealing the 17th Amendment to the U. S. Your quote of President Jackson is very relevant.  In addition, those illegal aliens who have entered this nation since the laws of c. 1952 must be sent to jail for six months and deported,  However, your civil servants and law enforcement agengies, at any level, only support the criminals and illegal aliens.

Remember, stop voting for incumbants and report all criminal neglegence and dereliction:  file police complaints, file charges against police and civil servants.  It is working.  I did it here and it hurts defelict officials, they must now enforce or lose thier office; worse...

Rememer that ALL civil servants and law enforcment officers have taken an oath!   Get, 'em!  It works

They selectively enforce federal antidrug law and persecute a citizen who drinks a beer, but ignore those of their chosing.  Interesting.

Be active, be involved...
