Read the whole thing at that link, but here's the kicker:

Ammendment hacking ? Go ahead , shoot the senseless , but leave us our guns because when you shoot the wrong ones we need to shoot you . Our fore fathers saw you coming LONG AGO !!!

I think his new bill is designated S.2237 ( http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d110:s2237: ).

As you can see, the text of the bill hasn't been posted to Thomas as of 2 p.m. Eastern today.

Amazing how hard you have to work simply to get the bill no. to watch for the damned thing. Surely that's not by design. Pete

Many would say voting does not protect your first amendment rights guns do. 

Did the founding fathers prohibit private ownership of cannons.....

  Hi  SM,   Haven't seen much on the used cannon market recently but, seriously, I think in colonial times your average farmer would  have been able to have about the same equipment as the soldier of the day.

    Nowdays, I would think the citizens should have some upgrades too as there might  be some need for something heavier than used for duck hunting.

Another Crime Bill! Most of the bills they try to pass have been crimes against America.
