Tancredo accuses Senator Durban of “aiding and abetting illegal aliens"

Presidential candidate and Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo blasted Senator Dick Durbin for what Tancredo says is “aiding and abetting illegal aliens” at his press conference yesterday on the DREAM Act.

Tancredo turned in Senator Durban’s event yesterday to immigration authorities for hosting the event in conjunction with discussion of the DREAM Act where illegal aliens were reported to be attending.

Tancredo said yesterday, “I call on the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency to detain any illegal aliens at this press conference.  Just because these illegal aliens are being used for political gain doesn’t mean they get immunity from the law.”

“If we can’t enforce our laws inside the building where American laws are made, where can we enforce them?”

Today Tom Tancredo stepped up the rhetoric “Dick Durbin, by his own admission, brought in students who benefit from the DREAM Act for political gain,” said Tancredo. “Dick can split all the hairs he wants, but we all know the DREAM Act is designed to do one thing: benefit illegal aliens.”

“Of course, I don’t expect Dick Durbin to be able to tell the difference between legal residents and illegal aliens – after all, this is a man who has already demonstrated that he can’t differentiate between American servicemen and the genocidal foot soldiers of the Khmer Rouge,” Tancredo said.

Tancredo was referring to the comments Durbin made on the Senate floor in 2005. The Senator said:

"If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags or some mad regime — Pol Pot or others — that had no concern for human beings,"

Tancredo then extended an invitation to tutor Durban on the difference between American soldiers and Nazi’s, and Soviets along with legal residents and illegal aliens.

Tancredo alerted the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency yesterday regarding Durbin’s 3:00 PM meeting. No charges have been brought against Durban or anyone associated with the event.

This is just one more illegal act they are pushing in our faces. They already bribe each other daily and lie to our faces. Im glad Tom has the gutts that most of the rest done.

Good job tancredo!!  Wish I had some extra money to send him for his campaign, but am already in the negative in my checking account--sigh..

If you have to hyphenate your race--you are NOT an American!! This from a French-German-English-Irish-AMERICAN! See how silly this can become?

Just the fact that some one like Tom has the guts to go against these idiots (as Lou Dobbs likes to call them).  How many others just stood there knowing what they were doing was breaking the Federal Laws and yet didn't want to "appear" un-pc.

I like that someone calls the Federal Laws as they are written and doesn't care if being a Law Abiding Legal American Citizen is not Politcally Correct.

Finally someone acknowleging that this is OUR FEDERAL LAWS and if Mexico doesn't like it then "tough".  They can go back to their own country.

Just the idea that the illegal group was allowed in the Capitol is enough to make you wonder what planet Durbin and the others are living on.  It kind of compares to watching some kid in a classroom cheating off other kids papers,  or beating up on another student, while the teacher just stands there watching. 

They honestly think they are above the law--the illegals and the senators, and that is happening because the illegals are pandered to, and the idiotic senators play the PC game.  

They all need to go to Mexico together.  They just can't stand it that someone like Tom calls it what it is---breaking the law!

It is madding that a senator and his minions would sit there and deliberately break a federal law, they are just like dirty cops IMO and need to be arrested themselves and tossed in jail!
