I was working at a federal Half way house that is federal funded.
Well when I was hired I was asked if I had a GED and experience. I was applying for a cooks position. I had both, experience and a GED and I also went to school and I have a degree in culinary arts.
Well, when I was there about 6 months they hired a mexican female.
She BRAGED that she got this job with out a GED and without experience.
She also stated that she bought her social security card and her papers are forged.
Now tell me if that is not racial discrimination, right?
My advice would be to "lawyer-up" - preferably someone from the ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice, NOT the aclu), since they might take the case pro bono.
If that isn't discrimination, then I'm a french pastry chef.
And, as speakenglish pointed out, it's a violation of at least two federal laws - possession of forged ID and fraud.
...I'd also start looking for a new job, because in that sort of case, even if you "win", you'll end up on the short end of the stick with your boss - and probably some of your coworkers.
Hard choices.
Best of luck.
>>>Disclaimer: I'm a retired grunt - NOT a lawyer! - so make sure you speak to a REAL lawyer BEFORE you take other action.

I've read that the Govt hires most of the illegals...
"If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy. Of all the enemies to public liberty, war is perhaps the most to be dreaded because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few. The loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or imagined, from abroad." -- James Madison
