I saw on a thread somewhere today the mention that you couldn't tell which state a poster was from.  I've noticed that also, and you sometimes can find out (hit or miss) by reading posts, but it would be nice to see beside the poster's username?

If posters wanted they could put it in their signature.

Firewing:    I am so disappointed in our Governor with the "no lead ammo in the condor area" and the micro stamping  of guns that he passed in the last couple of days. Hes gone to hell in a hand basket very quickly, but then look at the family he married into. So I'll not vote for him again.

I do think knowing which state people are in is a good idea.

Jim :  I like your idea, gives us a sense of what folks in other states are thinking and doing.  I have the feeling we may be doing alot VERY soon.

Good idea Jim.  I've been playing around with it in my signature line; it doesn't seem to ever look quite right.  Send the idea to Sean Ivy, I'll bet he'll approve.

Jim from Texas - I like your idea too.  I've often wondered where people were from when they talked about their senators or things happening where they live.  If I can figure out how (again), I'll put it on my little not at the bottom.

Alamo: I am working on it. I see what you mean, it doesn't look quite right.  I guess it looks okay now. I will try this for awhile.

MrT - wouldn't "Jim from Texas from Texas" be a little much?Tongue out  And MrT, the username already shows on the left panel!  And MrT and Alamo1836, it will just take a little time getting used to.....try putting it first in your sig?  Doesn't really matter how we do it, as long as it's somewhere!  I was thinking maybe the webmaster could automatically take the state from each profile, and put it just under the username and before "Member since??
