This just in from NumbersUSA.  The Senate is sneaking in an amendment, bringing it up so fast, no one has had time to weigh in on it.  IT'S UP TO US.  Event he talk shows didn't know it was coming up, so there has been no time to alert supporters of the amendment.

Ok, for some reason it won't let me copy and paste.  We have to call EARLY Tues. morning - all the senators.  It's the Vitter amendment HR3093, the CJS Spending Bill (Commerce, Justice & Science).  Urge your Senator to bote YES on this amendment.  It will deny critical federal funding to state and local agencies for policing.  We need this amendment to PASS.

If the sanctuary cities are denied federal funding for their law enforcement, it's very unlikely they will continue sanctuary for illegals.

Any Senator that votes NO are illegal alien supporters.

If you want me to forward his e-mail explaining the details about the funding to be withheld (it's called the COPS program that grants federal funds to city and local law enforcement for policing), send me a Pm and I'll forward it to you, or go to NumbersUSA.com for more information.

I think since  the Amnesty debacle for the Senate you will begin to see many more issues brought up under some cover or done quickly to avoid any citizens knowing what is happening. They have all got to go.

Not that I'm aware of.  I'd call incase they haven't.  They just voted on the DeMint amendment.  Not sure what that one was.

Cornyn's staff just said "Cornyn will oppose anything that goes against our Sovereignty" - interesting...

He will oppose the LOST and hasn't made a statement as to Vitter's amendment.  His staff has a call out to him....I told his staff - we would support Cornyn IF he follows in the footsteps of Vitter and Goode.

Hutchison staff also said she is opposed to LOST.

Time will tell - keep hounding your representatives...

"If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy. Of all the enemies to public liberty, war is perhaps the most to be dreaded because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few. The loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or imagined, from abroad." -- James Madison

Was busy composing a new thread and didn't see this one.

Even more urgent - sneaking in the DREAM Act maybe as early as this afternoon.  See my thread:

Thanks speakengl and Jim from Texas

I just made all calls---Both GA Senators will vote with Vitter and one even was trying to find a way to co-sponsor.

Both GA Senators will vote against and be watching for a sneak attact regarding the Dream Act.

Jim from Texas:  I got an alert early yesterday saying that the DreamACT would be voted on 10/22-------I went ahead and called today, just in case.

See the other thread.  My source siad that was the original plan, but that they're trying to sneak it in today or tomorrow.  Moving so fast staff can't even see text.  Thanks for calling today - better early than late!

Hi all - marcy attended the Irving, Texas rally Saturday, and got me onto a Dallas-based organization, which also led me to join a national organization.  Both seem to have great insight into any illegal immigration goings-on.  You might want to sign-up for their emails.  That's how I got onto these 2 amendments quickly.  Try 'em:

Thanks a bunch, Jim!  Will do on the National one, but I'm not in TX anymore.  Do you have to be in TX to join?

Weighing in from Arizona.

Kyl will support the amendment.

McCain's office would not give me an answer so I told them how I felt.

Posted in good conscience after the great thread cleansing of November 2007 AD in which we stepped in unison to declare our good works.

My WA Senators are both PRO illegal so I registered my position and told their aids the need to SUPPORT U.S> CITIZENS as they were hired to do.

Also, still have my TX phone number, so called Cornyn & Hutchinson.  Couldn't get through to Hutchinson's office so left a message and sent an e-mail.  Cornyn's office "didn't know when the DreamAct would come up" and didn't know his position.  Yeah sure!

OK folks - just got another "heads up" email from NumbersUSA about both amendments.  There has to be something to this!  They said Vitter is up NOW, and they suspect DREAM Act by tonight!  Get on it if you have not contacted your senators yet..... PLEASE  It's Not Fair
