I have found out that Bank of America is giving credit cards to Illegal aliens, well that is where I banked and I closed all my accounts there and told them why.
They don't even have a social security number, how can a bank do this. I am perturbed, I had to file for bankruptcy a couple of years ago cause of medical bills, (an unexpected medical issue) other than that I had good credit all my life. And now my own bank could not give me a c. card, cause of this?
Okay, we pay for illegal aliens medical bills, we work our butts off, and can't get medical insurance, and then something happens to you and you have a ton of medical bills, and the only choice you have is bankruptcy. I have a degree and was laid off when this happened to me.

Remember also that they are GIVING free credit cards to these people, they run them up, then cant pay who pays for it you if you have a bank with
Bank of Amexico.
Illegals get free medical thanks to the government, and to TAXPAYERS of the USA. They have one child after another and bread like f------ rabbits.
So it will continue, into a cycle because they keep having kids. Thanks to the TAXPAYER , they also get free food, food stamps. Thanks to the governemnt of the USA they get practically everything while AMERICANS go with out.

B of A announced months ago. ALOT of people have boycotted them already. That Corp is part of the whole SPP agreement thing and is only the first of many. Much to my distress, I found out that Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual and Chase are also on the same committee. Part of the SPP agreement is to 'help poor mexicans build credit by allowing them access to our financial institutions'.
Not a week goes by that I don't get a letter from Bank of America trying to entice me with a 0% credit card, a low interest home equity loan, or something....they ALL go in the circular file no matter how low an interest rate they offer. They won't get my business for anything! I'm all for "poor" people getting access to banks; I just ask that they be LEGALLY in this country to do business with American banking (or any other industry).

I'm doing the same - just haven't found a bank yet to switch to...I wrote them and complained and got some crappy response that they are just doing this as a pilot program - blah blah... (sounds familiar - Mexican truck "pilot" program).

I saw a thread a couple of days ago that gave a list of all the companies involved with the SPP agreement. I believe it was a thread referencing Canada. There were alot of financial institutions on it. If you go to the SPP agreement and read it, you will see what they are up to.
I wrote to the Finacial services branch at the SPP web-site the other day, I asked if they could explain to me why the web-site states that there is no plan to have one currancy between Canada,US and Mexico, how come President Fox said different when he was here on a book tour. I got a reply back right away, One line, There is no plan for one Currancy and have no knowlage of what Prsient Fox said on subject.At least they replied
I just heard, this morning, that Bank of America has lost profits, big time. More than they ever thought. I guess it's working. I've been banking with Bank of America for years, as well a my business. Next month I'm moving all my accounts, which are substantial, to a local banks. Might not get all the perks from a smaller bank, but it's the principle of the thing.
Glad to hear they are losing business! My husband's company is pulling out also and transferring their business, which is also quite substantial to a local bank. So hope BofA enjoys their 'illegal cliental' business!

Google Bank of America boycott. There is a website that lists the banks who do not give illegals credit. Hopefully you can find a bank on that list that you can do business with. Good Luck!
I had Bank of America steal money from me when I had a California account so I haven't used them in thirty years and always recommend people boycott it already.

I worked for Bank of America for four years, and quit in 2005. Believe me, they aren't just a terrible bank, but a terrible employer, as well. While I worked there, I did a little research about B of A on Fortune magazine's website -- I had a subscription to Fortune at the time and was able to pull up their archives. I found a couple of articles that I printed out and saved. Here are a couple of quotes:
"'We expect to get no less than 80% of our future growth in retail banking from the Hispanic market,' declares CEO Ken Lewis, 56. To get there, it is doing things like stocking its branches with Spanish-speaking tellers and learning to write mortgages secured by the credit of an extended family. The efforts are paying off. 'Of all the banks, it is B of A that dominates the Hispanic market,' says David Hendler, an analyst with CreditSights."
I definitely saw this Hispanic-targeting sheme take effect while I still worked there, and B of A's pandering quite infuriated me.
One thing in particular that really got under my skin involved the American flag. After the Sept. 11 attacks, my manager had me hang an American flag in the lobby behind the teller line, which I did happily. About a year or so later, I noticed that someone had taken the flag down, and I asked why. Our manager (who was Korean, and dumb as a bag of hammers) said that the corporate execs in charge of our region ordered her to take it down. She went on to explain that it wasn't fair to only have the American flag hanging in the bank, and that in order to keep it up we would have to display all of the flags of the world as well (including the Korean flag, Mexican flag, etc., etc.). At our end-of-the-week meeting she explained that B of A was not an American bank, but a transnational global bank that served people all over the world. Needless to say, my co-workers and I were pissed off, and so were many of our customers. This issue at our specific banking center even got a little air time on a local talk radio show here in Atlanta. But, the flag never went back up.
Now, here is the clincher. To top off B of A's selling out of America, guess why they settled on the name "Bank of America" in 1998 (this one really amazed me)? Again, according to Fortune:
"It helps that many Hispanics associate B of A's name with a rock-solid national bank; 'Bank of America' sounds similar to the well-regarded Banco de Mexico, Mexico's federal reserve. (In fact, that is why after the merger of Nationsbank and BankAmerica in 1998, management decided to christen the new entity the Bank of America)."
Interesting. So, according to Fortune magazine B of A is even named after Mexico's Federal Reserve. Hmmm, shouldn't they change their name to the Bank of North America or the Bank of Greedy Corporate A-Holes? I can't stand that traitorous bank, and I certainly wasn't surprised when I heard they were giving credit cards to illegals. Don't be surprised when they try to pull more of this type of crap. In the meantime, we can all be happy that their earnings are down. Screw 'em.

I used to work as a translator for the hispanic community. The corruption was too much, I just couldn't deal with it anymore. So I quit. When I struggle because I cannot afford health insurance for my son or myself, it upsets me when illegal immigrants have child after child and get free healthcare! In the state of MN if you are illegal and pregnant the county is not allowed to ask for citizenship verification. The state knowingly goes out of their way to help illegals get health insurance. While I was going through a financial crisis, I was cut off from medical assistance because they wanted me to fill out a 12 month renewal form 4 times in less than a year! I got sick of filling out the paperwork time and time again. While illegals don't have to show proof of income. They use fake names and fake social security cards and lie about where they live etc. The lies never end. I no longer have sympathy for these thieves. What about the american children??
Their 3rd quarter earnings are down about 30%. Maybe Americans' closing accounts and municipalities pulling accounts out of B of A is starting to have an impact. At least we can hope that is part of the reason.
My car loan was done through B of A. It was suppose to run through 2011, but once I heard about their love fest with illegals - I started to pay it down early. I have 5 months to go and will pay it off 3 years early - that is the end of my releationship with B of A and the will lose 3 years of interest.
Bank of America brought Countrywide home morgage company recently, getting ready to offer morgages to all the illegals on that path to citizenship(I think) also here in Texas, I see them paying now, not just with wads of cash but with the BA card.
