Lone Protester-- My Court Date

have finally gotten my subpoena for my jury trial for cursing. I am to appear, at 800am, in courtroom #2 at 811 Washington St., Columbia, SC on Oct 19th 2007. My case will be called sometime that day and jury selection will start. I know that my trial is going to be about whether I said a curse word or not, but it is not. It is really about the nine hundred pound gorilla that everybody who will be trying me for cursing, is completely blind to. And that is the fact that I protested being run out of business by illegal competition, my rights were violated and I got arrested for it. That’s what it is all about.

       I am encouraging everybody that reads this, to please be there that day to help me to send a message to my state, a message that says we are sick and tired of our laws not being enforced. That we are not going to take it anymore. I want support from as many people as possible, to make that statement as strong as I can. I would like to see the sidewalks overflowing with people. I know that a photographer and reporter from our local newspaper will be there to do an article about my case.
       And I  am not going to give up, I am involved with the March for America in Atlanta on Nov 17th and am starting to plan a march in Columbia on May 1st  2008. And in the meantime I am going to be exposing as many companies as I can that are using illegal competition. So, I am encouraging everybody to be there on Oct 19th, bring your flags, your t-shirts that say “ENFORCE OUR LAWS!, just support me as much as you can, especially on that day.  Lone Protester

lone protester, God Bless You!  If I could I would certainly be there to support you.  However, due to health issues and I guess age has something to do with it also I can't be there in person but you can bet your life I will be there with you in thought and prayer.  Give 'em hell for all of us that can't be there.  We can't simply give up and let them run over us.

You should post this is the section under State issues for SC too. Maybe the people on here from SC will be able to come and support you, I'm too far away in Texas.

So - any word on what happened?

TEXAN...NO - I WON'T FORGET THE ALAMO! "Where's the Fence???" RINO huntin' season started January 10th (but ended January 22nd)! FRED has left the building!!!! MITT has entered my world! Oops, MITT left my world too soon also (on February 7th)! Dang, can't catch a break -- but Hillary, Obama, and McCain aren't it either (nor Huckabee, Paul, Keyes, Nader, ad nauseum)!

 I wanted to let everyone know earlier but i was too busy. Today, believe it or not, another charge was added against me. The earlier charge was by the cop that put me in handcuffs and took me to jail, namely disorderly conduct, In court today, my case was continued and an additional charge of disorderly conduct was pressed by the homeowner. So that means I am facing two counts on the same charge, cursing. It is ridiculous. I am going to fight it till I can't fight anymore. I have an audio of my lawyer and I being interviewed after court today and I will try to post it tomorrow. Thanks for everybody's support. But it isn't over with yet because I want everyone to burn the telephone lines up in downtown Columbia between now and the time I go back to court, whenever that will be. Thanks again.

This is unbelievable.  Also the lady in west Scranton, who swore at her toitet and the police arrested her.  She is going through the same thing.  The cops won't arrest an illegal but WILL arrest a citizen

Sorry to hear about this compounding of your problem.  I'm not a lawyer (thank goodness) but why wouldn't that be double jeopardy or something like that, being charged twice for the same thing?  Does it mean if you say 10 curse words there would be 10 charges?  Crazy, and nothing but a vendetta if you ask me!  Go after the dang illegals people, and let lone protester make a living again!  Hope to hear the audio when you can settle down a little.  Please........keep us posted, and stay out of jail at least thru Nov. 17th! Wink
