Watching the CNBC debate:

Rudy - wants to "police" the internet, prowar mongerer, brought up 9/11 - AGAIN...

Tancredo - Brought up NAFTA and sneaky immigration amendments to trade bills, doing well

Ron Paul - ignoring him again but doing well

Fred - non answers, rhetoric, no applause, restates the questions and states the problems - no real solutions.  Even the moderator commented he has given the fewest strategic plans to problems.

Huckabee - doing well

Hunter - doing well - doesn't get enough time

Romney - "I like to stay positive, even though our country is screwed - let's whitewash it to the American public".  Non answers, rhetoric

McCain - blah

None of the globalist CFR members want the big oil companies to use a % of their $72B in profits for alternative oil exploration...they want low corporate taxes - to increase profits - increase "economy".  The rich continue to get richer - and richer and richer....

WHERE ARE THE QUESTIONS ABOUT NAU, CFR, SPP?

I quess the first question is there another one of these so called debates tatking place. If so what a Joke. The oil companies do not need government to tell them what to do their livelyhood is based on finding new sources of energy as well as continue to develop those resources that the environmental folks will not allow them to drill for. They spend billions of dollars on research every year.

I also watched the dog and pony show they called a debate.  It mostly looked like a coctail party for the top tier and the rest treated like step children.  Lots of back and forth comraderie with Rudy, Mitt, Fred and John.

I has glad to see Tom stick illegal immigration in all of his answers.  I threw down my pen and cheered when he said 'trade issues are threatening our sovereignty'.  Go Tom.  Also Tom and Ron Paul said (paraphrased) they would not blindly support the party nominee.  WTG.

This is the way I got it in number of responses:

Fred 16

Rudy 14

John 12

Mitt 11

Sam 11

Tom 8

Mike 7

Ron 7

Duncan 6

Tom said CAFTA agreement is over 1000 pages long and should only be 1 paragraph.

This 'debate' will be replayed at 9pm eastern on MSNBC.

It is time for Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo to run as third party candidates. They do not support the Republican party. They are both seeking the nomination of a party they do not support.

They support the party more than anyone else on that stage.  The GOP party has been hijacked - and they (like Americans) want it back from the stranglehold of these corrupt CFR big business minded individuals.

That's what I heard too.  It's the 'individual' who may be a Republican they are looking at.  Not just the fact that they are a republican.

Why are Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo running as Republicans? They want a free ride on the party if they get the nomination, but as soon as things don't go their way they will ditch it. It is time for them to be honest and run as third party candidates if they want any credibility.

Did you all go to cnbc.com and take the 'who one' poll?  The paulsters are at it again.  Shows Paul at 77% - next closest is Romney at 5.9% as of now.  Don't think so.

Mr. T - why are Rudy, Fred, Mitt and John running as Republicans?  They are not true republicans...why don't they run as dems - big spending, big government, talking about healthcare reform and plans, pro-abortion, big business/corporate tax cuts, etc etc...

LOL...yep.  I saw that.  Like every other online poll, it is so obviously freeped by ro(n)bots!  Pretty pathetic when the only way to make your guy look good is to vote 100 times!  Oh well.  As long as the kids are amused, that's fine.  REAL votes will never go in such numbers for him.

I cannot speak for Ron Paul.  I have not followed his campaign very closely.  I read he once ran as a Libertarian, but joined the Republican Party to get elected to a Congressional seat.

I will tell you this.  Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter are the only real Republicans in the campaign.  The others have moved so far to the left they seem to have done everything except change their party affiliation to Democrat.  We call them RINOs.

I do not know how old you are, but I remember Ike Eisenhower, a REAL Republican.  I cast my first vote for Barry Goldwater who lost because he believed affirmative action was unconstitutional.  I changed my party affiliation when Pat Buchanan lost a Republican nomination ( to GWB) and ran on a third party ticket so I could vote for him.  Those are REAL Republicans.

Remember, the Republican party was once a third party.  Americafirst is right.  The party has been hijaked.  Most who stick an R after their name today are not REAL Republicans.

I am calling it as I see it. Paul and Tancredo can run as "new Republicans" or the "reformed Republicans" or whatever, but if they are going to stand on stage with the others and claim to be in that group and say they are Republicans, I would expect a little loyalty. If this is some indication of how loyal they would be to the causes that they pay so much lip service to like illegal immigration, I don't trust them at all. They say one thing and do another.

msbobbie - I agree with both of you.  And the sad truth is that many Repubicans are confused by it and that's why they are still looking for a 'strong' candidate.  Hunter & Tancredo "seem" to look radical to alot of Republicans because they don't truly know what the Republican party stands for.  I remember my Mom going to see Goldwater, and she was SO upset when he lost.

True, but supporters of the other candidates are able to do the same. I'm not saying the poll is accurate, but it does show that RP supporters support their candidate with more zeal than the other candidates's suporters. In addition, Ron Paul was ahead in the previous debate according to the cell phone poll. This poll is more accurate because most people only have one cell phone. If you have an explaination for that, I would like to hear it.

Actually, they are running as conservative Republicans, representative of the moral, conservative base of the Republican Party.  You know, that overwhelming majority who is being ingnored by the party?  The overwhelming majority that is ready to stay home or vote third party if another RINO gets the nomination?  They nominate a RINO and Hillary will be the next president. Done deal.

I am not sure how Dr. Paul describes himself.  I would say Congressman Tancredo should run as a REAL Republican and the others can call themself 'new Republicans' or 'reformed Republicans' since they have strayed from the core of the party.

I received a email last night from a lady who was once active in our County Republican Party, but is not any longer.  I had sent her the link to Pastor Baldwin's column, THE FIX IS IN, and urging people to vote for the second tier candidates.  Judy was really upset that no one on the second tier could beat Hillary and we would not be able to overturn RvW.

I replied that there are much more important things at stake with this election, like our national sovereignty and how all of the top tier are willing to give it away, while the lower tier would protect it AND opposed abortion.

I have not heard back from her.

Well, of course they are ABLE to do it, but most adults play by the rules, written or non-written and only vote once.  They'd like to see a more accurate picture, not skewed results.  All the supporters' support is just that.....supporters support.  Not the general public.  Come the election that counts, RP supporters are going to be shocked to find at the REAL polls, they can only vote once, regardless of how zealously they support their guy.  They will look awfully foolish when all these 75, 80, 85% and more "results" suddenly become a far more accurate 3 or 4%.  Cell phone poll?  I have 5 phones on my account.  Means squat.  Just like regular polls.  While I put little credence in so-called "scientific" polls, I put NONE in online polls.

If a second tier Republican gets the nomination I will vote for him. We must unite behind the Republican nominee.
