Yet not everyone receives God's love because not everyone has positioned themselves properly.  What I mean to say is this! We all know that the Bible tells us that sin seperates us from God, and that the wages of sin is death.  Yet the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Listen to this, if you are tired of going through life never quite sure if your living the right life, or if you don't feel you fit where your at, then you need God to show you why He put you here on this planet.  You need to have your sins forgiven so that you can be brought into fellowship with God. This is done by asking Jesus in your heart to be your Lord and Savior.  Once you say this prayer God promises to show you why you exist, and where you fit in life.

I'm not sure why you answered your own post, but let me ask you a question; why do you think people reject what you said above?

I'll answer. People do not like to feel as if they do not have complete control over there lives. Also for the sinful it is easier to deny God than to accept him because then one would be obliged to change.

Protectingfreedom,

You're right. Look at what Jesus said: "This, then, is the judgement: the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. For everyone who practices wicked things hates the light and avoids it, so his deeds may not be exposed." John 3: 19-20 CSB (bold added)

Jesus had us pegged form the very beginning. People don't want to know that they are bad to the core (sin) and are going to be held accountable for living their lives the way they want instead of for the purpose for which God created them - which is to love Him, worship Him and glorify Him in every aspect of their lives.

Don't worry, God will not be mocked without dispencing His wrath.

Love in Christ,

Phil C.
