10 Illegals are sueing the Mayor, police, and federal agents for enforcing the law!  The police did a sting operation, posing as contractors, picking up day laborers in an umarkerd van last year.  The illegals said that their civil rights were violated!  Their freedom of speech was violated and unlawful search and seasure was used, as the agents supposedly lured them into their van.

What the he##!!!!  I don't care how they were caught.  It is nice to see that something is being done, FINALLY!  They are here breaking the law, not the cops, and federal agents !  As far as I am concerned, they have no rights!  Since when can they use our courts to sue our government?   They claim their civil rights were violated.  What about our rights?  Don't we have the right to go to a Home Depot, in a pickup, and not be chased by some creepy looking guy, speaking Spanish asking for a job?  This is my COUNTRY, not theirs!!!!!  I am sick to death watching them abuse us, our laws and our COUNTRY!  They are acting like this is their country not ours!  We are the ones whose rights are being trampled on!!!!

Does anyone know anything about this?  I caught this on the ticker tape on Fox tonight.  I searched the Fox website and found nothing.

Cops lure us citizens into arrest by posing as drug dealers, gun runners, bankrobbers, jewel thieves, pimps, prostitutes, etc. and get away with it all day long. Entrapment is a fact of life in law enforcement and sneak-ins are not exempt from it. I just love how they can scream about civil rights in this country when they refuse to apply for them the right way from the get go.

Members of 'Danbury 11' file federal suit, allege city took part in arrests
ASSOCIATED PRESS

DANBURY -- A federal civil rights lawsuit filed Wednesday accuses Danbury of violating the constitutional rights of laborers last year during a sting targeting illegal immigrants.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of 10 men arrested a year ago. It accuses Danbury officials of making illegal immigration arrests and discriminatory law enforcement. The lawsuit contends Danbury has tried to enforce immigration laws without the necessary federal authority.

Danbury police routinely stop Latino drivers to investigate their immigration status, the lawsuit alleges. The plaintiffs allege they were arrested without probable cause.

"In their frustration with the arrival of new immigrants to Danbury, Mayor Boughton and the police department have taken the law into their own hands," the lawsuit states. "In some instances the city has acted unilaterally, and at other times its officials have conspired with federal immigration agents in the conduct of this unlawful campaign."

Mayor Mark Boughton rejected the allegations, saying local police provide support to federal operations and that they comply with the constitution.

"Obviously we have a much different view of the events of that particular day," Boughton said. "We strive for a neutral application of the law."

Boughton sparked controversy in 2005 when he proposed deputizing state police as federal immigration agents, but Connecticut's public safety commissioner rejected the request.

The laborers were waiting at a park on Sept. 19, 2006, when they climbed into a vehicle driven by a man whom they thought had hired them to demolish a fence, but who was actually an undercover Danbury police officer, according to the lawsuit. When the men arrived at the purported work site, they were arrested and shipped to detention centers around the country.

Most of the men have been freed on bond. Their immigration cases are continuing.
