I support Rep. Tom Tancredo for the following reasons:

1. Understands the Primary Role of the President is to serve as Commander in Chief
2. Is 100% America First and will act to secure this nation and the safety of the American people
3. Has 100% pro-life record and has stated the proudest moment of his life would be serving to overturn roe v. wade.
4. Will restore the rule of law. He will secure the borders, enforce immigration laws and encourage deportation of illegal aliens through the humane approach of attrition.
5. He supports eliminating the immoral income tax and is a co-sponsor of the Fair Tax.
6. He supports eliminating the Dept of Education and returning responsibility to the parents and local school boards.
7. He understands the cultural failure that diversity worship and multi-culturalism have caused.
8. He will not surrender American Sovereignty to international agencies like the UN or allow a North American Union to be established.
9. He supports FAIR TRADE that benefits the American people not just the CEO's and multi-national corporations.
10. He 100% supports the 2nd amendment and without that the others are worthless.

Vote Tancredo for a Safe & Secure America....

I support Tom, first and foremost, because he is the only candidate to begin his campaign with border security and controlling the illegal immigration problem.  So many other problems our Republic faces come back to those two things.

I support him because he keeps his word.  He has the most conservative voting record in the House, he is the most passionate of all the candidates about what he believes.  He has not backed down from President Bush on border security, illegal immigration,  education, health care, and trade and is still banned from the White House even though Karl Rove is no longer there.

Read the wikinews interview.

I believe in him.   Shame on all of the voters who will base their decision on gay marriage, abortion, and free health care.  Our sovereignty is at stake with this election.  I only trust Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter to preserve it.

I believe Tom has said 'NAFTA was a mistake', but he did not vote for it.  NAFTA came to be in 1993, Tom did not come to Congress until 1999.  There was a bill to expand NAFTA in 2000 or 2001 and Tom voted against it.  He also voted against CAFTA, is opposed to SPP and believes we should withdraw from WTO.

I like Tancredo's stance on secure borders. I hope all of the candidate understand what an important issue that is for Americans.

Thanks for starting the thread, msbobbie.  I support Tom for all of the reasons given above, but mostly because he is a patriotic American who does not waiver on what he believes is best for our country, and he never tries to gloss over the truth and pretend that he can make all the bad go away.

He believes in the Rule of Law and that it must be abided by in order for our country to survive.  He sees our future in the long run, not in short spurts, and does not make promises that he cannot keep.  He believes in the sovereignty of our country and will not pander it away to the whims of the rest of the world.

We support Tom because he walks the talk, says what he means and sticks to it! He wants to defend and preserve our CORE American values and it shows in his voting records and his words. Whether it is securing our borders, dealing with the aliens, fixing our tax structure, keeping American jobs....all the issues that have made our country what it is and what it can continue to be. He embodies all the values every American President should have. He has stood up for our values in debates, took on an issue no other candidate would touch (illegal aliens), has been looked over, laughed at and still keeps on keeping on. That is courage! That is the American 'don't give up' attitude.

This is a very unscientific statement, but he has 'fire in his belly' and he is PASSIONATE about his love of our country. I get that feeling in my 'gut' when he speaks and it moves me. I even like that he doesn't look like someone out of a Hollywood makeup room and looks like ME, talks like ME and thinks like ME!!

Understandable, seeing how little opportunity he is given to answer a question and often an interviewer tries to speak for Tom.

I get that same feeling.  I have talked with him face to face, looked in his eyes when he spoke and I know he is sincere.

I believe Tom Tancredo is firm in his convictions just as Ronald Reagan was.

Ronald Reagan was one of the great world leaders of the twentieth century because he was convinced that capitalism and a free society alone would defeat communism and a totalitarian state.  He was right and the Soviet Union is no more.

I think that Tom Tancredo is right in his convictions and the results of his presidency will be very positive for the United States of America.  A strong USA will result in a better world.

I believe Tom is right on a lot of things.  Every one of those quizes we have taken, Tom comes out on top as agreeing with me except one, when he was two points behind Duncan Hunter.  I want everyone to read this wikipedia interview.  It is 9 pages long and Tom gets to fully answer the questions on a variety of issues, not just immigration.  Copy it, share it and encourage those you share it with to share it with others.

I know in my heart he will keep his word, and he will not make promises he cannot keep.  In one interview he was asked about reducing H1B visas.  He said he would not be able to do that alone because Congress sets those, but he would encourage reduction of H1B visas and he would immediately go after the 600K to 700K who have overstayed and no one is doing anything about.

I believe in my heart that Tom is the only salvation for keeping The United States of America a free and independent sovereign Republic.

you can add a new one:  he wants to do away with the Federal Drug Laws....

Now tancredo can get spammed by all the Fred T supporters for legalizing marajuana (by simply following our Constitution and leaving to the states)...
