The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly. Proverbs 20:27
The cave was dark. There was no light coming from within it at all. They felt their way along for a moment, but decided it was much too dangerous. They had no idea how deep it was, where it led, or what they might find as they went. The group went back to find lanterns which they could carry into the new cave. Once lit, the cave was breathtaking. Rock formations caught the light and reflected in a million little stars. Crystals hung from the ceiling, and each reflected the light of the lanterns to brighten the entire cave. The band of explorers covered every inch, and left no crevice unchecked.
God is like a deep, dark cavern which we cannot see into. One's spirit is like a lantern. It may burn brightly or it may shine forth strongly. As we grow in our faith, the light increases, and we can begin to see God more clearly and understand Him better. As we grow closer to Him, and our inner light increases, we are better able to explore His depth and majesty, and we come to an even closer relationship to Him. He feeds the light of our spirit and then reveals Himself to us in its light. In this way, we come to truly know God.
PRAYER: Reveal yourself to me, Lord. I so want to know you. Fuel the flame of my light that it may shine brightly, illuminating your will for my life. Build my spirit and guide me in the ways that lead to you. Amen.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12)
Dear Friend, Unfortunately, most of us don't know the first thing about fighting the kind of war in this scripture. For, as Ephesians 6:10-12 says, it's not a battle of flesh and blood, but of the spirit.
Most believers are so earthly minded (or carnally minded) that they never even realize the actual source of the enemy's attacks. They blame circumstances and people. They waste their energy fighting natural conditions instead of supernatural causes.
We need to wake up to the warfare that's going on in the heavenly realm!
We can get a glimpse of it in Daniel 10:12-20. There, we find that Daniel had been fasting and praying for 21 days, awaiting a word from the Lord. Then, an angel appeared to him 21 days later with the answer. What took him so long? He was fighting the enemy in the heavens.
That confuses some people. They say, "Devils fighting in heaven? I thought God reigned in heaven!" What they don't understand is that the Bible teaches there are three different areas called heaven:
1. The heaven where God resides.
2. The stellar heavens (what we call "outer space").
3. The heavens around this earth (the atmosphere surrounding this planet).
This last heaven is where spiritual war takes place. (That's why Ephesians 2:2 calls Satan the prince of the power of the air.) The air is where wicked spirits operate. From there, they attempt to rule the nations assigned to them.
And rule them they will unless the prayers of God's people keep them from it.
God has an army marching in this land. If we band together, we can prevent the wickedness in high places from ruling our nation. The time has come for us to pray. So, put on your full armor and take your place in the ranks of the faithful in intercession for our country and the nations of the world! Scripture Study: Daniel 10:1-14

You have the privilege and the responsibility to stand against evil and promote good in Jesus name. You have the authority as a believer in Christ to bind the forces of darkness that blind the eyes of the lost. Use these verses as a sword in the Spirit to push back the darkness that surrounds the unsaved.
Scriptures
"The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; But the earth He has given to the sons of men." Psalms 115:16
Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith...?1 Peter 5:8-9
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." -Matthew 16:19
Prayer
Father, I thank You that You sent Jesus to set the captives free. I thank You, that Your will is that none should perish. I praise You for making me a part of Your holy priesthood, and I take up my position now and plead for the lost. Jesus, I ask for a spiritual awakening to take place among these people on Fire Society and in my work place; neighborhood; and household. I ask You, Lord, to increase the presence and power of Your Holy Spirit in their lives. I bind Satan in Jesus Name from holding this community of people back from the truth of God‘s Word. Satan, you have no right to block the truth from these souls that have been or will be purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. I loose them from all lies, deception, and unbelief. As God's ambassador, I serve notice to the forces of darkness that your claim to their lives is canceled in the Name of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, thank You for drawing them with Your love and mercy. Thank You for awakening their hearts with a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a renewed passion for Jesus Christ. Father, be glorified and exalted through them, Amen.

This is a graet study I've done before and it helps to be reminded every once in a while.
You know, Jesus also tells us the He is the light of the world and that, because He lives in us, we are then the light of the world and that we are to let our light (Jesus) shine before men. In Matthew 28 He tells us that, wherever we go, we are to be witnesses of His grace, mercy and great love for all people.
Thanks, Karonica. Have a blessed day and hope you got some rest!!!
Foot note: Send as many prayers and as much love as possible to those that wish to lead us down the path into darkness. They are the ones who need it most and maybe with a little devine intervention will turn away from the darkness.
Just a thought
The love of God and the Christ is the most powerful and undeniable force in the universe, shine that on them and they can't hope to win.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
It's wonderful to know you've been set free from the law of sin and death. It's glorious to know you never again have to submit to the slavery of sin. But what do you do when, in spite of those wonderful, glorious truths, you still miss the mark? What do you do when you stumble and fall into sin?
Run to your Father and repent!
That sounds simple. But oddly enough we often do just the opposite. Instead of running to God, we let fear and guilt drive us further and further from Him. We start thinking things like, "Well, I've missed it now. I might as well forget the rest of it and live like the devil."
Don't make that mistake. Don't let Satan talk you into sinning in one area of your life just because you missed it in another. When you get off track with God, just confess it and get right back on.
"But I feel so guilty when I tell God what I've done and it's hard for me to make myself do it."
Many feel that way too. You must remember that when you confess a sin that isn't when God found out about it. He knew about it all the time! When you confess your sin is when you get rid of it, when you are cleansed of its effects in your life."
When you make a mistake, when you miss the mark, remember, you have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous (1 John 2:1). Run to Him! He knows what you are going through. You don't need to be afraid. He didn't tear you apart for the sins you committed before you made Him Lord of your life, did He? Then how much more merciful and loving do you think He'll be now that you're His own? Now that you're reaching out for Him and have a heart for Him?
Don't run from God. Run to Him. Receive His forgiveness. Receive His cleansing. No matter how badly you've sinned, He's eager to forgive and to cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Scripture Study: 2 Samuel 11:1-5, 2 Samuel 12:1-13"

Your self-image is much like a self-portrait; it is who and what you picture yourself to be, which may or may not be an accurate reflection of who you really are. How you feel about yourself will have a tremendous impact on how far you go in life, because you will probably speak, act, and react as the person you think you are. The truth is, you will never rise above the image you have of yourself in your mind.
God wants us to have healthy, positive self-images, to see ourselves as priceless treasures. He wants us to feel good about ourselves. Despite our faults and weaknessess, God loves us anyway. He created us in His image, and He is continually shaping us, conforming us to His character, helping us to become even more like the person He is. Consequently, we must lear to love ourselves, faults and all, not because we are egotists, but because that's how our Father loves us. You can walk with confidence knowing that God loves you unconditionally. His love for you is based on what you are, not what you do. He created you as a unique individual--there has never been, nor will there ever be, another person exactly like you, and He sees you as His special masterpiece!
YOU WERE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD
God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:26-27
What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. Psalm 8:4-5
