Huckabee is an excellent speaker. Huckabee gained approx 100 votes from the vote prior to the debate. Paul lost nine of previous votes finishing with 44 votes. All four rhinos lost OUT.
Not everyone showed up for my meeting tonight, and I got back home only 15 minutes after the debate started. I guess my computer does not support that live stream well. It kept pausing, and the audio was not with the video. It was very hard to follow.
I saw the result of the top three, but don't know how anyone else finished. What I could hear, they all sounded pretty much alike.

Tonight's forum, which will be moderated by Joseph Farah, the editor of WorldNetDaily, will feature Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kansas), former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Congressmen Duncan Hunter (California), Ron Paul (Texas), and Tom Tancredo (Colorado), John Cox -- and former U.S. Ambassador Alan Keyes, who announced his candidacy over the weekend.
Isn't Huckabee an ordained minister or something? I'd be surprised if he didn't do well in a "values" voter debate. Congrats to him.

Well, I listened to the first 45 minutes at work - missed the next 1-1/2 hours coming home - then saw the ending. I turned on my computer and was able to see the end of Tom's last question.
With all the hollering for Ron Paul, I assumed he would be the winner. Little did I know there were so many gullible voters at this debate. Frankly, I think Mike talks a good game, but I don't trust him on the illegal alien issue.
I was really disappointed with Alan Keyes. I didn't like his preachy delivery at all. He was so much better the last time.
I saw the whole thing internet streamed through afa Action Alert, and it was difficult to catch every question, answer and later commentary as the stream would go in and out. It was also televised on Sky Angel and a few other satellite providers.
I wasn't suprised about Huckabee (former Baptist minister) as he was focusing on his audience and their belief systems-- as he had done in Iowa for Straw Poll voters. It ran about 3 plus hours, so I don't know about it being on Utube. I had a feeling he (Huckabee) would come in first and Ron Paul had his supporters there to help push him into second place. Alan Keyes, appears to be the most erudite of all but not has homespun as Huckabee.

Yes, Mike Huckabee is a Baptist minister. Or I have heard him say recently "former Baptist minister". I don't trust him either. Especially on the illegal immigration issue.
I talked with a lady who lives in Arkansas just a couple days ago. She says he really let the people of Arkansas down by not fighting to keep their National Guard training center. Since a lot of the Guard in that unit live in Oklahoma, they turned to Senator Coburn to keep their unit close to home.
There is a story on the Mike Huckabee thread about him going to Mexico to negotiate labor deals. That is no different than msnancy going to Syria, talking policy with a foreign government.

I never knew of it until I heard about the debates. Probably never go there again. I see one article in there about a boycott of Ford Motor. Sort of a strange twist of a story as to the origins of the boycott. I don't know sometimes, sigh.
I had a really fine neighbor once that told me his motto to life was "live and let live". I guess that is just not possible. I know that where I work diversity is brainwashed into workers heads. It is not just race or color things, it is "lifestyle" things as well. I get sick of it. One better not be too outspoken about some things least a complaint to the HR folks. I just hate some of the things I put with for that buck. It won't be forever.
I didn't find it. It was spoken in the commentary after the debate hadconcluded (it ran about 3 hours over livestreaming on the internet through the AFA Action Alert site). It was spoken fairly quickly, and I didn't have a chance to get the total votes cast for each man or the percentages, other than for Huckabee. http://www.afa.net/debate/. I don't believe the live streaming is available any longer.
1. Mike Huckabee won the Values Voter Debate - 219 - 63%
2. Ron Paul
3. Alan Keyes
Where the dickens did you find that? I have searched both sites and cannot locate it.
Here's a link to the results of their poll so far...seems Ron Paul's faithful have skewed it a bit. I really like Dr. Paul and his is the only sign in my yard but despite a real weakness on immigration Huckabee sure seemed the victor last night...anyway...the link;
