No doubt this has already been posted somewhere. I couldn't find it. It was in the National Review, but I can't make the link work here. Senate Democrats plan to use the defense authorization bill next week to revive a provision from the failed immigration overhaul that would put some children of illegal immigrants on a path to citizenship. Meanwhile, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., is working to bring to the floor another provision from the immigration bill (S 1639) that would create a guest worker program for up to 1.5 million agricultural workers (S 340). Both efforts are likely to rekindle the kind of heated debate that engulfed the Senate when the immigration overhaul measure was being considered in June. Majority Whip Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., is expected to offer an amendment to the defense bill (HR 1585) that would attach legislation (S 774) to allow children of illegal immigrants who entered the United States before age 16 and lived here at least five years to gain conditional legal status and eventual citizenship if they attend college or join the military for at least two years.

If they stayed in the fields that would be one thing but they never do . They end up standing on a street corner or molesting someones children . It looks like it is time to send another fruit basket to Chertoff , and one to Fienstien also .

http://www.numbersusa.com has the info along with the free faxing option. The Dream Act is just another attempt at amnesty and chain migration. This is one we need to stop!!!

I'm not against younger people getting an education, but this Cream Act has no methods to determine if someone came here AFTER they were 15. All they have to do is say it's so, and it's so, no matter how old. Then here comes all the family members.

If anything, this act should limit the age, and have nothing to do with family members. Most of this is geared toward College type schooling, so I don't see why they need their family here as well? Millions of College Students are many miles away from family, so why is this included in the act?

 Nothing makes sense anymore.

NumbersUSA will be posting some new faxes to send today that are directly related to the three items targeted.  PLEASE everyone, call, fax, e-mail.  They are going to just keep adding bits and pieces in this bill and that bill until they get their way!

There's a good chance that sooner or later ( probably sooner) that many politicans in both parties will get some sort of an  "guest worker" aka amnesty bill passed. There seems to be one attempt after another to do this even if it has to be done in the middle of the night or shortly before a holiday. Keep trying, don't let them think we are not watching !  We ARE watching and we don't forget.
