FAIRTAX PLAN HEARING

Some here have expressed strong interest in the FAIRTAX.  I do not have time to go looking for the thread.  I have information that the House Ways and Means Committee will hold a hearing on September 6, 2007 on Fair and
Equitable Tax Policy for America’s Working Families.

If you want to submit your own comment for the
record,you can go to http://waysandmeans.house.gov.
Click on the calendar in the upper left on September
6, 2007, and you will find this hearing. Click on
"more info" and receive instructions for submitting a
comment for the record.

The process to submit a comment for the congressional record is tedious, and the information provided above is not complete.
There is no calendar in the upper left corner when you click on that link.  You will first need to click on 'committees' in the upper left corner, then click on Ways and Means from the menu before you see a calendar.
