Me and mom were watching FOX News and  saw Fred Thompson and we came to agree that Fred Thompson shouldn't run not for the issues he represents which is very good, but for his health. Mom said that he has the...CANCER look. He is looking more and more fraile. If he does run and wins, there COULD be a chance with me and mom agreeing that he could die in office. Take a look next time at his most latest appearance and see if you all agree or not agree that Fred Thompson may have cancer.

I had my hopes on this man, but I have big concerns that he may be really ill and shouldn't run. If this is true, the Liberals will go nearly uncontested next year for the White House.

I tend to agree with you guys, but in one of his last interviews with Sean Hannity, Fred Thompson said that it was a manageable kind of cancer, but it is hard to say.  There is an article on CNN that discusses his disease.

HE IS running for president – literally. Every day Fred Thompson rises at dawn and hits the gym to get himself into shape for the White House race, according to a close confidant.

“He’s really prepping himself physically and mentally for the campaign. It’s like Bruce Spring-steen getting ready for the big tour,” the source added.

The fitness drive is part of Thompson’s attempt to inject energy into his 2008 presidential bid, which he will launch formally on Thursday.

At 6ft 5in in his gym shoes, the former senator for Tennessee and star of the television series Law & Order is not short on stature, but he has been putting aside time for a personal trainer and is said to be “svelte and in tremendous shape”.

Good one Firewing.   I'm glad you found it because I was off to find my copy.  Fred looks great!  He's lost weight and is getting very fit.  If he feels good enough to run I'm not worried about him.

Allow him to reveal himself more and more and those old die hard fans in  Tennessee will realize he left the hills of that beautiful state years ago.   He now resides in the pockets of those inside the beltway and Hollywood---actually, there isn't much difference in the two. 

I saw Jimmy Carter for what he was, but many here in Georgia thought he was the answer.  He turned out to be an answer alright---to the prayers of Islamic Radicals and communist sympathizers everywhere.,

Yes, Melinda!  I also believe that he'd be the very first one to let us know that he cannot continue.  Seems to me this is the kind of man he is.  If he does win the nomination it'll be interesting to see how the Democrats handle this aspect.

I did think he looked horrible when he announced on Jay Leno, he looked really, really OLD AND TIRED!!  I thot, boy, those hollywood make up people are really good as he doesn't look half that bad on L & O!!

I thought he looked pretty good.  Maybe you're just used to looking at movie stars on Leno.  You should support Romney then, he looks really, really good!

there are good immunotherapy techniques available beyond any type of chemo or radiation therapy....we are learning more about cancer each and every day as well as helping the patient's immune system make new macrophages and NK cells to fight what Fred has...essentially cancer of the white blood cells (MAJOR part of your immune system innate resistance-circulates in blood and lymph and travels where needed).

If people are saying Fred looks bad, then what's Ron Paul's excuse? He doesn't look like he feels well sometimes either.
