It's time to get informed and active by speaking out and taking a stand for righteousness.

PRAYER FOR CALIFORNIA

We invite the creator of heaven and earth to restore His Covenant in California, by coming and writing His law on our hearts and minds, and upon the hearts and minds of the civic and spiritual leaders in the counties of this great state. We ask, O God, that you would reveal yourself to all the citizens of our state, so that from the least to the greatest we would know Your mercy and Your grace as you blot out our sins and change our hearts. Through the renewing of covenant with Jesus Christ, by agreement in prayer, we plead His precious blood over the transgressions of our forefathers and our land. We turn to worship Jesus Christ as the creator of heaven and earth, and exalt His name over all of California. He is worthy of glory, honor, and praise. We agree for a shift in civic and spiritual government of California to align with the headship of Jesus Christ. May the Lord now bless and restore His purposes in California. Amen!

I am a native Californian. I was born in Santa Ana. I also lived 16 years in San Bernardino, as a kid and again after highschool. You could not even hire me to live there now because it's been overrun by illegal aliens. People I know who still live there say it's very bad and getting worse. Little George, Bill Clinton, and others before them will be called on to answer for what they allowed to happen to California.

I lived in California about twenty years ago and was NOT happy with my daughter's class.  I called the Dept. of Education to ask about the legality of home schooling.  They said it was my right though they hoped I would not take her out of school.

If that passes, perhaps the California schools need students taken out en masse all at once.  Perhaps parents need to organize just one "keep your children home" day in protest before it is voted on.

That might have an effect.  Public schools get government funding based on the number of students enrolled.  I believe that funding is reduced for absenses, but I am not sure.  I have not had children in school for 23 years.

Folks, there are a number of bills that our representatives are trying to pass here in California that are unholy and perverted and are sitting on our governors desk waiting to be signed.  Should we as concerned citizens just sit back and say nothing and allow darknenss to prevail?  Or should we be light and expose the darknenss?  Isn't this what is involved with going into all the world and preaching the gospel?  God is love but he is also a God of judgement when His precepts are violated.. Have we become lukewarm like the Laodicean Church mentioned in Revelation 3:14-19?  If so, we must be zealous and repent for not being on fire for the ways of the Lord.
For the sake of souls, our religious liberties and our children, it's time to get active by speaking out and taking a stand for righteousness.

Pull your children out of school until they are willing to stop this crazy wrong headed type of education.  Let them know that you will educate your children about sex when you think they are ready.  If they don't cooperate with you then do the home schooling that your children deserve.  This is just plain sick!  Children don't need to have this kind of knowledge.  If they want to be doctors later in life then it might have a place in their life.  Until then, let them be children.    Be prepared for all the threats about your keeping them out of school.  When they start that - then tell them you're going to be home schooling until the schools change their programs... Make sure that you follow through with your statements.  If you don't get tough then they will walk all over you...

ACT NOW!!!!!!
Tell Gov. Schwarzeneger to VETO AB 43
'Same-sex marriage' bill is on governor's desk right now.
This bill would repeal the people's vote protecting marriage as an institution between a man and a woman.  This bill violates the California Constitution, which specifically prohibits the Legislature from repealing voter-approved initiative statutes such as Proposition 22, the Protection of Marriage Initiative, in 2000.

This story should have received the same publicity as Senator Criag's behaviour but so far not much has been published so I suggest you print this out and fax it to your local newspapers.

This is correct.   When things get bad enough this is exactly the step to take.  As part of this equation the Southern Baptist Convention is currently reviewing options and opportunities for establishing what would more or less be a parallel public school system throughout the Southeast.

By removing children from public school several things happen.

First and foremost in the overwhelming majority of cases the child will be in a much more wholesome and nurturing environment, they will be better educated and mature to become much more productive and well adjusted adults.

In a political sense the loss of federal funding for the public school system will result in a financial implosion at the school board level and force them to lay of administrators, teachers and all other NEA and Teachers Union dues payers.  They are typically one of the top 3 sources of funds, votes and political muscle in the Democratic party in almost every state.  Bring them down and the socialism chain weakens substaintially.

Now the good news for the teachers that many of us had and love for what they did for us is they can leave the filthy, run down soul of public education and work in the environment they deserve to.  For the non-education oriented political activist who are forcing their socialist, anti-Christian agenda on the children of this nation I could care less what happens to them other than I would donate a one way ticket to iran for them.

As more people do not have children in public schools more of a push will be put on the Federal Government to eliminate the Dept of Anti-Education, and a reduction in taxes that support it.  On the local level property taxes should decline significantly.  I for one would gleefully tack what I save in taxes and give it to a Church sponsored school.  Gleefully indeed.  I have learned my lesson and will never trust the Federal Government again with education.

As a final cog in the wheel of a better future for our children they will look to the Church Sponsored Universities such as Furman, Baylor, Liberty, BYU, Notre Dame, Peperdine etc. even more for their collegiate experience.  Other colleges will react to this and kick their communist, anti-Christian professors to the curb in favor of a more balanced, Pro-American educational offering.

After a lifetime of this type of quality educational and social experience they and their children will not be so infatuated with brittney's lack of underwear or how many drinks the other twit had before she went driving or if the hilton girl is going to jail or not.  None of that stuff is of interest to anyone that has a fulfilling life other than to say a prayer for them that they will truly find Christ in their lives and better themselves.

A school is not about the building, but about the learning that is done....

Legislature Spinning Out of Control - morally !

California Legislature Defruads Electorate;
Violates Constitution With Same Sex Marriage Bill

The California legislature has once again passed legislation to destroy the definition of marriage by redefining marriage in the California code as a civil contract between two persons. The last time the legislature passed such a bill in 2005, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed it. This is a clear case where the immoral elected majority of the California state legislature is defrauding those who elected them by going against the clear will of the electorate and divine will as outlined in the California constitution and is placing the citizens of California at risk.

The preamble of the California constitution states, "We, the People of the State of California, grateful to Almighty God for our freedom, in order to secure and perpetuate its blessings, do establish this Constitution." Section 4 of the California constitution grants: "The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship, without discrimination or preference, shall forever be allowed in this State; and no person shall be rendered incompetent to be a witness on account of his opinions on matters of religious belief; but the liberty of conscience, hereby secured, shall not be so construed as to acts of licentiousness, or justify practices inconsistent with the peace or safety of this State."

Here, the California constitution is very specific-it gives gratitude to Almighty God for freedom and establishes the constitution to perpetuate the benefits of God's blessings. In Section 4, the California constitution guarantees religious freedom, but says that religion cannot be used to justify licentiousness or practices inconsistent with the safety of the state. Licentiousness means "Lacking moral discipline or ignoring legal restraint, especially in sexual conduct." Same sex marriage violates both Biblical and religious morality because homosexuality is immoral and presents a public safety hazard because of AIDS and dozens of other sexually transmitted diseases associated with the homosexual lifestyle.

Throughout the Bible, homosexuality is condemned as immoral. Both Romans and 1st Corinthians in the New Testament condemn homosexuality. In the Old Testament Leviticus 18:22 says, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind: it is abomination." So the California constitution already bans same sex marriage. In 2000, 61.4 percent of Californian's voted that "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California." Yet immoral elected officials in California seek to force this unconstitutional "licentiousness" upon their citizens. This underscores the importance of electing moral people to office and how the immoral attempt to legitimize themselves by forcing their radical beliefs on others.

This thread is so depressing and hits close to home.

One of my sister in laws lives in Riverside County.  Her husbands family are several generations worth or Sacramento Valley folks.

They all speak and complain much of the changes and effects on the way of life they were accustomed to.

The problem with California is there are so many beautiful and productive places that people do not want to have to leave.  Through the years some have though.  They went to Oregon, Nevada and Idaho.  For most it was a windfall, the driving aspect was economic.  Is it time for a social based exodus?  I am recomending that those out there in my family consider it now, not later.

They are the average kind of folks.  They are not land holders.  They cannot afford to send their children to private schools and such.  Why should their productivity support such a political and economic system.  They have no political voice.

Taxes are going up and will even more if there is any kind of amnesty/legalization.  Also, it seems the point is nearing where the economy could really slide, particularly in real estate.  As the teaser rate adjustable mortgages reset over the next 9 months there will be a lot of significant pressure.  You don't want to be trying to sell a house in a foreclosure boom.

Spend your money and cast your vote in Red States...
