Fred Fixes A Date
An End to Hunt for Fred October

Fred Thompson's new campaign manager, Bill Lacy, forces out communications director Linda Rozett and suddenly we have a date for Fred's announcement:

Sources tell numerous outlets that Thompson will announce his campaign September 4th, and that he will participate in his first debate on September 27 at Morgan State University in Baltimore. His first major appearance at a GOP event will be at the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference in Michigan around a week earlier.

Didn't we already receive a date of July 4th?  Than the end of July?  Than sometime in the beginning of August, and than it was "any day now"?

Fred's been finished before he even started.

Congratulations to you and your candidate . This should give you a better feeling for all the time you have spent in his behalf . I'm sure you were wondering at one point or another . Sort of reignites the ole rush in feeling needed and productive . The field is pretty full , let the race begin at the start of the first primary .

Sadly, this nation is unlikely to survive eight more years of the CFR running things, but that is the idea, isn't it? Astonishing that people will gloat over their own demise.

Fred is not necessarily my candidate, bob.  I haven't made up my mind yet but he is definately on my short list.

That is what I am skeptical about.  I believe he will take up right wherever George Bush leaves of on Immigration, Borders and Trade.

Actually, Fred never said July 4th.  Some of his "helpers" said July 4th and Fred came out and said no, it would not be in July.  Fred has never set a date before.  People have only speculated until now.

My short list:

1. Tancredo

2. Paul / Hunter

4. Thompson - with caveats: Renounce CFR agendas (globalistic umbrellas, trade ideas), and membership;  let me know exactly how we will deport (or force the return of) 12-20 million illegal immigrants.  He will stay #4 all the way up to election day, even if he is the Republican candidate, if he doesn't come out strong on these issues.

As I said in another posting, I think that Freds been sitting on the sidelines watching & listening to see whats working for the other guys so that when he jumps in he'll say all the right things, the MSM will report all the 60 second sound bites so the average american will see him as our nations savior, and it will be four more of the same old thing, and like someone else said "How many dollars will it take to buy an amero".

I don't think Fred Thompson is coming into the race late. I think the other candidates started way too early. Can anyone remember a race that started two years before an election?

All the better to get to know who they really are. I think who we elect for president shouldn't be rushed, especially after the last 3.

That someone was me, KRK.   I said it from the beginning, Fred Thompson will take right up where Dubya leaves of, on insecure borders,  uncontrolled immigration and imbalanced trade.

He wants to do something only a president can do, and I think that "something" is live in the White House.
