Short but very very sweet.  This might be the best interview I have seen with Tom.  TC asked direct questioins on a variety of topics and gave Tom all the time he needed to answer.

It was Great!

I imagine you were looking for different things than I was.

And didn't find it.

That was funny, Hillary is completely sincere every time she changes her mind. Tom got such a chuckle out of that. Hes right about her not running for anything. Well maybe for giving amnesty to illegals. I dozed off and woke up a half hour later to Tom talking.

Deport congress and the president!!

Tom said he was probably the first congressman to call for Gonzalas' resignation.  He pointed out that at the beginning of the campaign season he was the only candidate talking about the problems we have because of the insecure border and illegal immigration and now all of the candidates are talking about it and that is a good thing.

He was asked about the recent scandals involving Republicans and how they would affect the elections.  Tom called them "individual moral failures" and tried to not sound judgmental.  And they had a laugh about Hillary changing her position depending on what crowd she is speaking to.

It was a relaxed interview.  The questions were brief and Tom was given plenty of time to respond.  So many times an interviewer will inject their own opinion into a question, trying to lead the person they are interviewing, or interrupt if that person isn't saying what the interviewer wants to hear.  Tucker didn't do this.

Yes, I noted the relaxed atmosphere as well, and I agree that Tom was given the kind of time needed to answer questions that were on a wide variety of topics over a short period of time.  Tom is not the one issue person others perceive him to be.

For more verification on Tom's stance on many issues, the Ben Merens' WPR, radio interview from last week, is a good example of his knowledge and abilities with other problems and issues.  The radio interview can be accessed through the archives on Ben's program.  http://www.wpr.org/merens/.  Real player is needed to listen to the interview--one of the longer that Tom has done.
