Mark Lumsford, Jessica Lumdford Father See's Justice

I do not know how many people know of this case. This is the case Of Florida vs. John Couey.

John Couey was Charged For the Kidnapping, Raping, and Killing Jessica Lumsford in Citrus County Florida.

He was already a known Child Molestor, served in The Florida State Prison and was released on Parole. He fled Parole and moved into a nice quiet neighborhood in Citrus County, Fl.

Mark Lumsford, Jessica's Father, started a Petition to make a law callled The Jessica Lumsford Act that has been being passed throughout the United States to bring these Child Molestors, Rapists and Murderer's to justice by serving at least 20 years for Child Molestation and furthermore to Have Any and All Child Molestors that have killed innocent children to be put to Death. Only a few States left have not adopted this Law. When done so, it will be Mandatory that all States Comply.

Today, Mark Lumsford, his Father, Mother and Wife have finally got their wish and Rightfully So! Mark Lumsford and Family witnessed today 8/24/2007 that John Couey be Sentenced to Death. I have stood behind The Jessica Lumsford Law now ever since it was enacted. This will not bring Jessica back, however, John Couey will die in The Florida State Prison and rightfully should! I can only hope with a glitter that John Couey's fate will happen soon. Don't expect it to happen, however, We all would love to see it happen and watch the light's dim when they Fire Good Ol Sparky back up. Let's see how fast Our Governor Charlie Crist will sign his Death Execution. The Problem is, there is already an appeal filed in John Couey's case for reconsideration of the death Penalty. We all know every living not the right to die extremist will jump all over this.

There is a special place in Hell for child molestors.  Do you know that he buried Jessica alive--there were 2 little holes in the bag that he put her in- and she tried to get out. 

I know all of this Ohio, yes. I live here. I have met Mark Lumsford way before this ever happened in person and do know alot of his friends as well. This hit very close to home for me. I did not want to get into all the gruesome details. This was a very sick thing. Anyone who molests a child or any person should be shot or hung by a rope in my opinion.

I have heard the same thing. What's sad Ohio is the fact this isn't the only case. Too many are happening and one is enough, not too mention thousands. John Couey is just another example of the sick people that are out there. I'll tell ya what. Now that I look back on my son's life, I am so glad I was always there and raised him to hunt, fish, participate in Archery events, participate in Football, participating in weight lifting and seeing him take the world record for ages 17-19, while watching from the bleachers or competeing against each other. His mother and I were there. What has really happened in this Country? Now we have a site on the internet as I am sure you have seen on the news about how to locate children done by a pedaphile and they can't arrest him. It's a blatant stab in our backs. Something has to cease somehow.

                      Great post Deerhunter, I pray for a speedy resolution to this execution (pun intended) of justice. Same goes here for my own daughter brother, glad we have been there for our children. There are some sick puppies out there that need to euthanized.

Deerhunter- you mean that guy that loves little girls.  I heard he is getting ran out of California.  He already got run out of Oregon.  Someone is gonna end up killing him.  I too love to involve myself in my wee lad's life. 

My cousin recently got married to a dude who just got out of prison--I was invited--but did not go.  He was in prison for kidnapping and something to do with molesting a child.  My cousin has shi- for brains.  I looked him up on my computer and found out about the pervert.  Funny thing about this---he wants to be a preacher now!  According to relatives, he threw his hands in the air--praising God at his wedding. 

Wow, didn't know he was in California. Wait, yes, he was on O'Reilly I think.I have seen so many show's and have been trying to keep up with everything. LOL....I can't believe what you said about your cousin, but ya know what? Let's hope that he did find the Lord and stays in it. I can't believe a child molester at that. You said you looked him up. Did you find exactly what it was he was charged with and what the cicumstances were by any chance? Just curious is all.

 I remember when I was 18, hell, that was my age group whether she was 17 or 29, ya know? So, I am really asking about what went on that you or the general public doesn't know. I think, and I am not sure, but, I think being 18 and so called, to put it politically correct, 17 is now against the law as far as sexual relations. Correct me if I am wrong please.

I agree Ohio, but just in some of his soul and what he had been throug and put people throgh, we can always be saved. A silver bullet doesn't sound bad either, but, you are much closer to this reality, than I am. Plus, I don't want to be anywhere near him. It's sick. Period, if ya get my point. I am sure you do. With the Justice system the way it is anymore, one will never know, and I think Jessica's Laws should be in every state.

This guy is a good excuse for retro-active birth control. 

                         Every parent or grandparent needs to visit the website Family Watchdog (I believe) where you put in your address and get a detailed map of your area and where sex offenders live. I was shocked to find several living all around us.

Heya Jason, I too check it out even though my kid is grown up. However, we have an elemantary school two blocks over and so I do a check every now and then. Yes, amazing isn't it? Yet, we still have a problem with them coming out in mass numbers it seem's like. Sad man, really fn sad.

I am as equally upset about that as I am in the Amnesty Issue.....grrrrrrrr
