Its not part of the "NAFTA Super Highway", but at least we are rid of CINTRA for now on this one.

Rudy Giuliani's law firm was/is? reperesenting Cintra's interests in the TTC-35 (Texas' part of the proposed NAFTA Super Highway).  He and his firm have made windfalls from this.

Well it looks as if some things never change:

 The TxDOT is pushing Congress to pass a federal law allowing the states to "buy back" parts of existing interstate highways and turn them into toll roads.

     They are trying to make us pay for roads that have already been paid for!  Double taxation!  Plus giving tax breaks to the private companies that would own the toll roads.  The appetite for new sources of revenue while squandering what the state already collects and then trying to worm a way in to giving all sorts of tax breaks to the elitist-owned companies (political campaign contributors -no doubt) seemingly has no end.
