I recieved this email to attack Mr Tancredo for statements he made, if we are attacked, Mecca and Medina will be attacked if he becomes President. I applaud Mr Tancredo for being couragous enough to take on these bullies, The Islamists. While the rest of the candidates, republican and democrat, cowtow to get their votes, Mr Tancredo understands we are in a global war with these Islamists. Please email his office to support him in this matter, to stand up to those who will nuke us when given half a chance. Email contact info is at the end of the Islamists email.

ADC Condemns Comments from Congressman Tancredo

ADC Press Release:
ADC Condemns Comments from Congressman Tancredo

Washington, DC | August 3, 2007 | www.adc.org | The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is shocked and appalled by recent comments made by Republican presidential candidate Congressman Tom Tancredo of Colorado. While speaking to a group of voters in Iowa, Tancredo said "If it is up to me, we are going to explain that an attack on this homeland…would be followed by an attack on the holy sites in Mecca and Medina; that is the only thing I can think of that might deter somebody from doing what they would otherwise do. If I am wrong, fine, tell me, and I would be happy to do something else. But you had better find a deterrent, or you will find an attack."

Unfortunately, this is not the first time that Congressman Tancredo has made such ignorant and hate-filled remarks. On a radio show in 2005, Tancredo suggested dropping nuclear bombs on the holy city of Mecca in retaliation for any terrorist attack directed against the homeland of the United States.

Tancredo's comments serve only to encourage hatred towards Muslims of all ethnic backgrounds. His views are not shared by the US government; Deputy Spokesman Tom Casey of the State Department called Tancredo's recent comments "reprehensible" and "absolutely crazy".

ADC asks our members to contact Congressman Tancredo concerning his remarks.

Agreed.  I will not condemn Mr Tancredo for his remarks.  I will congratulate him.  If I were Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo, or anybody else and got elected to president. killing the fed would be second on my list.  First would be firing everybody in the state department and starting over from scratch.  I'd be tempted to put Ambassador Bolton in charge just to see the expression on liberal faces.

I have also emailed Tom also expressing support.  What some are overlooking is his statement that IF our homeland is attacked and IF we are sure it were perpetuated by the Islamic Jihadists, this is what they can expect from us.

Those opposing Tom are behaving like he would support a FIRST STRIKE.  If they will leave America alone, they will have nothing to worry about with Tom Tancredo sitting in the Oval Office.

I don't know about anyone else, but the above statement scares the socks off me!

So... the World Trade Center is fair game... and the religious centers on Muslimville is off limits.... How horrible an attack on either place would be/was. but to end this agression, perhaps the religious centers should be off limits, and instead Damascus, Tehran, etc. should be the target?

If holy sites of muslims are bombed...I can guarantee they will take out the Vatican in retaliation. I agree with Al- Idaho...take out Tehran and the existing nuclear facilities.

Tom statement was to the fact that if it all was proven then that might work. To say to a bully, you can push me around if you want and Ill tell you its wrong but you dont have anything to worry about, sounds kind of silly to me. Bullies only stop when you get up in their faces and push back.

If there was a nuclear attack here and a whole city or state was taken out where your loved one lived, I think people might be a little more passionate about it.

I agree Bio, I think the bombing facilities should be first. But those ones he mentioned should be illiminated either. If I had to watch my kids eyes melt away in their sockets, I would do anything to stop it from happening again. But I would want to be sure of who is the guilty party too.

It's the same as Israel telling Syria, if they ever attack them again, their city of Damacus will cease to exist.
