CA wants to give free health care to illegals

SB 840, a bill that would establish a single-payer healthcare plan for California, finds exciting new ways to bankrupt the state - at the taxpayers’ expense!  But this time, the taxpayers won’t pay JUST in dollars, but in healthcare - when the broad eligibility requirements practically guarantee that the system supports far more than just legal California residents.

I thought the illegals in Mexifornia already get free health care?

Illegals currently get free emergency care - the law requires hospitals to treat everyone regardless of ability to pay and without checking immigrant status.  This plan, however, would provide illegals with the benefits of the entire health care system.  Not just preventive care, which one could reasonably argue is in the greater interest, but diagnosis, treatment, surgery (including elective) - the whole works.

 And right - it's free for THEM, but not for the taxpayers.  We're being asked to finance health care for millions of lawbreakers.  Dang, isn't it enough that we already provide first-rate medical services to convicts?

The GOVERNATOR is a Communist.  Send those films to the dustbin of 3rd rate movies.  It's no accident they are played continually on the Spanish language channels.
