Either civil war, or we just turn over and quit. If you've read Camp of the Saints, you know that there is a better than 50-50 chance of the latter over the former.

The Civil War you hint at may well come but not in the manner in which you think it will. Tensions are building in this land that cover the entire spectrum of issues and events. These events and issues comprise the direction this nation will take in the future both for the people here and those outside our borders. Immigration is only a very small part of the divisions that are developing. The sides polarizing against each other will be composed of people from all classes, races, and creeds. The mask will soon drop and the face of evil will be revealed. This is a conflict developing over expanded government control of our lives and freedoms. Be on guard that you are not swayed by incidental issues. If we do not stand firm for the values our nation was built on we will fall. Avoid personal emotions because they can be made the serve the enemy who seeks to destroy our unity.

However, the "immigration issue" is the ONLY issue available to us at the moment; in which we can have an impact.  2008 elections are our next opportinity.  Meanwhile, 8,219 illegals came in today.  If they don't come in today, we won't have to fight them tomorrow.

If nothing is done and the pace of illegal immigration continues;  a "trigger" will occur sometime.  Just be prepared.

BTW, this is not a racial issue or family issue, so you are correct C212;  please everybody... don't get emotional.  We "separate families" everyday when we put "our citizens" in jails for breaking "our laws".  How long would it take for me to be in jail if I stole someone's SSN???

                     A civil (I've never seen a "civil war") war would be between two or more factions of a nation. Any militant action taken by foreign nationals would be considered an insurgency wouldn't it. There are those like the Brown Berets de Aztlan that lean towards the paramilitary and threaten violence and blood in the streets. I agree with you Commander 212 we must stand firm.

If we continue to ask ourselves the question. Why is our government not enforcing the laws? Why is our country being allowed to be flooded with illegals from another nation? Why is our congress trying to give our rights and benifits to illegals? And if a civil war happens, who will the enemy be sense they keep trying to give our rights and benifits away to them?

I said this same thing to my mother at least 4 years ago and she said I was becoming too radical in my thinking. I told her that for decades civil war had been predicted between blacks and whites, but I said that the reality is it will occur but will be between American citizens and illegal invaders. She said she hoped I was wrong. The other day, she reminded me of that conversation and apologized, saying that she now believes it will happen.

I don't think so. There are many liberals who don't like much of what is going on with the country right now. Many liberals are on these forums and are supporting the efforts to reclaim our country from these illegal invaders.

A war between liberals & conservatives will be a war over the Constitution & how much more of it we are willing to allow to be violated.  I think the aliens just might be the issue that unites Americans.  Follow me here.  Remember those old, Sci-fi movies about invaders from space?  Even during the cold war it showed the scenario of the USSR, China & others coming together to fend off a common enemy to insure our mutual survival.  Yes, I realize that those were only movies but that is what people do.  Woundn't we all rather have an American,any American move in next door than an illegal?  This issue also has the possibility of negating the racism promoted & perpetuated by Jesse Jerkson, Freddy Sharpton & the other Black Klanthers.  This should be our rallying point,"Come together as Americans to fight our common alien invaders."Liberals don't like this invasion either.  It gets thrown into the bag with the BDS,(Bush Derangement Syndrome), but a complaint that they have IN COMMON with us!!  This is our war, our country, our freedom to defend or lose.  It is a war with 2 sides & we had better get soldiers into our army even if they are liberals!
