People post video questions for the Democratic candidate debate.
One question is would Hillary describe herself as liberal, she said she prefers the term "progressive" which has a real American meaning like in the early 20th century. She consider herself "modern progressive".
Oh, she is a liberal, all right, if not the most liberal one.
For two gays ask about gay marriage, Rep. Dennis Kucinich strongly welcomes this idea and said welcome to a better and new America...
Sen. Christopher J. Dodd supports civil union
People said we shouldn't bash the Democrats. But from their positions on these issues, can we really place our hope to one of them?
kmcheng, I don't think anyone has said we shouldn't bash the Democrats, other than those that still support and believe the idea that our goverment is wholesome and wants what's best for Americans. Most of us just simply think the Dems. shouldn't be singled out. BTW, I wasn't able to catch the debates, was there any mention or talks on the border and immigration issues?
WHERE'S THE FENCE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
the bad news is certain Democratic candidate want what's best for the liberals who can't wait to lead America further away from God, not the majority conservatives who want to keep the tradition.
I don't know, I just watch some short scenes from the night news, may be youtube got whole debate.
And, believe me, the center issue is going to be the Iraq war - a good topic for them to speak against the Republicans and Bush.
The Iraq war is all they have I believe. However, in my opinion, their desires in regards to the war only shows their inability to truly lead. The true issue should be the border first and foremost. If it's not addressed, we'll have war on our homeland. Maybe with the illegals, but certainly with the terrorists.
WHERE'S THE FENCE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Mdbonjr, yes, they keep pusing the Iraq war issue around like it's their holy grail issue.
Mmm, what I believe is that the border should be secured, I think you do as well according to that post. Thats one reason im working with secure our borders today. It is the first issue that should be addressed. Iraq is a worthless concern if we end up with war in the homeland.
The questions range on this new tech breakthrough to politics. They range from "awesome questions" to "is that a lunatic talking to the camera?". However, nice to see fairness, their not preventing anyone from asking it seems. If im wrong about this and someone has a reference for me showing their blocking some videos or not showing them for some reason, please do post it for us.

i watched the whole debate on CNN...on cnn.com you could send in comments about debate so i was firing off every few minutes....Dennis K got away with rattling off some kinda cell phone text number for those who want to support his cause....i thought that was un-called for as leading into breaks video's were allowed from candidate statements so dennis kucinich got double...he was the only one who got away with this...the first time he blurted out he was cut off with commerical break the second time they let him rattle it off...and oh his video statement was a repeat of what he rattled off..about maybe 6 words repeated over and over again like we was racing through his video statement.. below is a copy of his first blurt and how it was first handled...
KUCINICH: ... they can text "Peace," 73223.
COOPER: Senator Dodd -- we're going to see your campaign commercial.
the first half of the debate text in full can be found at
TonyH, you can rest assured that the handlers of the candidates got first dibs on viewing the the vid-q's. As such, you can rest assured that none were allowed that would have really put them on the spot. I don't have any supporting evidence other than that of history, and there I can't immediately manifest anything. Just my opinion and insight.
WHERE'S THE FENCE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I believe that already mdbonjr, I am interested in anything as evidence though. Basically, im hoping someone can present something to confirm what I think.

Here is one of the people who chose the questions ! ! !
Common Sense and Persistance. Do not shoot from the hip, read and learn.
More trivializing of the issues, IMO. Youtube is silly. People posing and performing--and I mean the questioners, not the candidates. The border? Immigration? Outsourcing? You might think somebody would have asked the candidates about these issues. Instead, we get stuff about saying something good about the person to the left of you? And goofiness piled on goofiness. This country is getting what it deserves: our future determined by a bunch of internet jokesters, perpetual Gen-X adolescents, and Generation Y/Lost online exhibitionists.

i have to agree the last question of the night set off some goofyness..but format is format and some even failed to answer that question in full..look to your left and state one good thing and one bad thing about that person... and in a way i was glad they included this question...showed that candidates can't even answer a simple question in full no matter how goofy it sounded its a valid question...because if you cant pull out at least one good value and one bad habit or character or value....I think they did not want to knock each other out of the race too early.......something as simple as.... that person has a good command of the english language...however cant seem to answer a straight yes or no question without added an ((However))
Cnn was very bias in what videos they chose, you tube had many videos on many different subjects, I saw that Cnn stuck with questions democrats felt confortable with . Some they have answered over and over, but stayed away from, Earmark questions, taxes, social security, one man who said, why not assist americans to go to college, so you won't need Hb visas to fill these jobs. Nothing on either side of immigrations .
Cnn screwed this up. and proved they are very liberal. Even when I asked about this to Anderson, (CNN) on there I report, they didn't post it and refused to answer me and others who brought this up

I tried to watch this circus in between gagging. As I remember, there was one question about providing health insurance coverage for illegals. As expected, they assured the questioner that of course the universal coverage would include coverage for illegals.
Don't they already have "coverage" at our expense? I am going to have to consider registering as an illegal, because I am now paying $375 a month for health insurance for myself and 13 year old daughter! That doesn't include the $135 we pay for the Medicare supplement for my husband. How fair is that?

Did someone ask a deep, thought provoking and really important Barbara Walters type question, like, "if you were a tree, what kind would you be?"
