I never thought I'd ever say it but, watching George Bush and his self-important arrogance over the release of Ramon and Compean. Watching his close-minded, toady defense of his FRIEND, Sutton; he is more slimy than Clinton ever was.
Watching his administration start to twist in the wind over the policy in Iraq, while our soldiers die--and for what, exactly?-- Bush is far more of a disaster for this country than Carter ever was.
Get it together, Mr. President, jump in and DO SOMETHING, and be quick about it. (Like the administration should have done on a national level after the disaster in New Orleans and the total break down of local government capabilities).
Shortest distance between two points: pile about as much money into finding a solution to our dependence on oil as we have into financing the war, and we can leave those countries to their own devices while we run our cars and take care of our own in this country.
Finally, and this is the big one.....I never thought I'd say--Hey Dixie Chicks, I owe you an apology. Maybe you saw something about Bush long before I did. Maybe you felt as strongly then as I do now. So...sorry...and, maybe in the future, I'll buy one of your records.
I have to say, I didn't agree with your speaking out against your country while you were in another country. Save your dirty laundry and wash it at home. Always, always put your pride in your country, and your love of your state and country first--especially while representing both overseas. But I can now understand how your level of anger and frustration might have got the better of your judgement. The next time you open your mouth to voice your anger and bitter frustration with the President--look over your shoulder. You might see a long line of people standing behind you in support.
PS--Here's a great way to have Bush understand our anger and disappointment. BUY that Dixie Chicks record you boycotted. Bush has read the articles and seen the comments. If it suddenly took off and sold, boy would it beam him a message.
PPS No. I am not on the Dixie Chicks payroll, in fact, I don't even own their music; but I do believe that fair is fair.
Good post. I WAS a Bush supporter too. But, I never stopped buying the Dixie Chicks (even though TX stations still don't play them), because we are a Country of FREE SPEECH. I agree the when and where was inappropriate, but the right was theirs to voice their opinion.
I too voted for George twice, but what the "Chicks" did and WHEN they did it was not right. They were in another country trying to pad their pockets at the expense of America. They were publically kicking us when we were down. Two wrongs NEVER equal one right.
But, I watched George's statement about our Border Agent Heros this evening and it was sickening. He stammerd, stuttered and tripped over his forked tougue to the point that it was almost humorous, except two Great Americans are rotting in prison. His 'friend' Sutton is the making of our worst nightmares. He is smug, arrogant and over confident. I am an optimist and the chickens will definitely come home to roost when Bush, Kennedy, McCain, Kyl, Lott and all their ilk are voted out of office.
I need to send Tom T. some $$$. We need this man.
We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately. Benjamin Franklin at the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
I still support my president and don't and will not buy anything that slut Natalie mains has to do with she can take her little no neck body and go to the same place Hanoi Jane is going. Our soldiers are dieing to give you the right to make the asinine statements that so many on this forum make. There will never be a president worse than Jimmy Carter. He started all this crap by deposing the Shah of Iran and now we are paying for his stupidity. While he was wacking his willy to Playboy magazine americans were held hostage for 440 days. And right behind Carter was LBJ and then Blow Job Bill Clinton.
TEXAS: One of the few states that can secede from the Union.
I never thought I'd ever say it but, watching George Bush and his self-important arrogance over the release of Ramon and Compean. Watching his close-minded, toady defense of his FRIEND, Sutton; he is more slimy than Clinton ever was.
Welcome awakened one.
WHERE'S THE FENCE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I agree, welcome awakened one. I don't know how he can live in his skin. When I watched him on CNN, it was like he has sold his soul and there is just an empty void. How do you get so full of yourself? Wouldn't want to have to have his legacy and meet my maker. Glad that it is him and not me.
Don't be too quick to judge Bush's accomplishments. I believe he has done much of what he set out to do and that his legacy is already in place. That legacy, which hasn't been named yet because cable media is owned by globalists, is the creation of a North American Union.
Think about it: 1) the harmonization of rules and regulations between the three countries 2) the NAFTA superhighway 3) the immigration bill he tried to cram down our throats 4) the filthy food from China sans "country of origin" labels 5) Mexican/South American drug cartels growing marijuana in our state parks 6) open borders 7) schools teaching "North American" propaganda 8) gutting the FDA so it can't protect the people 9) throwing our border guards in prison 10) drug cartels moving more drugs into our country than ever before 11) Senators and Congressional Representatives sneaking the Dream Act into the latest legislation 12) identity theft 13) forged visas and on and on.
What would be the purpose of eroding our culture, squandering the wealth of the nation, flooding us with illegals, making our lives more dangerous, warning us not to bother Mexican drug dealers at the border and forcing us into a chaotic, despotic way of life?
No president could have done this much damage without a plan AND STILL OUR BORDER STAYS OPEN.

Quite right on every point, AZ.1! Let us look back a little, though and then forward. Several instruments were put in place in the seventies that allowed the elite to bring us to where we are.
First is radical environmentalism. While taking proper care of our precious resources is not only laudible, it is necessary, radical environmentalism is a vicious tool that has resulted in sweeping laws and treaties that have robbed us of our Constitutionally guaranteed private property rights, shipped US jobs to Mexico and overseas lowering our standard of living, radically cut back farming so we are importing more and more of our food (regulating out small and medium sized farms while AgriCorp thrives with its genetically altered crap), locked up millions of acres of land and, rather than harvest overcrowded or diseased trees has built up massive fuel for horrendous wildfires and regulated and harrassed animal owners beyond belief. Did you know that literally dozens of breeds of dogs are banned in various places around the country? (http://www.povn.com/rdows/banned%20breeds.html)
Next is the nanny welfare state. How many people in this country could no longer survive if they had to work and be productive? How many people have been regulated out of opening or running small businesses by endless, expensive and nonsensical regulations? Creativity and entrepreneuralism have been severely stifled.
Drug use, both illegal drugs and legal drugs, have created millions of empty headed, dependent, useless people where decent, hard working productive people may have stood. The government yapps about the "war on drugs" but in fact they do nothing about it. Drugged people are controllable, plain and simple.
Law by law, lost freedom by lost freedom, they are driving people off the land, robbing us of hope, ambition and drive. The North American Union is the culmination of many years of careful planning and subversion of this great nation. There is an excellent article on who has done it, how and why at http://theaugustreview.com. The next step is for them to gain complete control over the water in this country. Those people with wells will find the state governments being pushed to meter and tax private wells. This move is under way now. With the cost of transportation being driven, and all goods with it, this is just another step toward herding us all into the cities where we can be more easily controlled.
Personally, I like Tom T. but I think Ron Paul is more likely to win and more likely to stand up the dark side. His voting record has been 100% in line with the Constitution over his years in the House. His message of hope and freedom are really capturing the imagination of young people as well us older folks who remember what freedom was. Either way, we must get these elitists out of power and that cannot be done until the general public sees them for who and what they are. Hard to do when they own the media!
"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants. It is the creed of slaves." ~William Pitt, 1783
Thank you. I hadn't connected radical environmentalism as one of the NAU's main mechanisms for change and control, but I will certainly look into it because I want to understand. I tried to get through on your links, but couldn't.
The angle that drugged citizens are easily controllable is more obvious. I had only gone as far as thinking of the harm drugs would do to our young people, the crime that would result and the lives destroyed. You are on point. Drugged people, depending on state assistance, will fall into line. The families of drugged people will ask for state assistance. The people negatively affected by drug-related crime will ask for assistance AND BUSH WILL KEEP OUR BORDERS OPEN.
Right now I can hear my cable TV station railing on about missing people. Before that it was Paris Hilton, Alec Baldwin, Anna Nichole Smith and all the trash they focus on -- anything but what is really happening in this country to prepare us for a North American Union. Not once have they mentioned the Security and Prosperity Partnership Summit meeting to be held in Canada next month, or asked why we have become dependent on food from other countries, or why our borders are still open, or any of the questions and stories that would alert the people.
The more I become cognizant of what is happening around me, related to the NAU, the more frustrated I become. No one wants to hate the President. We would all like to admire and trust the man who runs our country. Mr. Bush has made that impossible, but we have to remember he is only the "front man" who is padding the way to leave our Constitution and sovereignty behind.
All citizens have become part of the process for change Mr. Bush has implemented, only they haven't been told about it or where it leads. Like some horrorific science fiction movie we move like zombies toward his goal, not ours, and few know enough to verbalize their complaints.
Watching our country change to fit the EU model is agonizingly sad and pitiful. I thought the people would be up in arms about the fish grown in feces and chemicals, doused in antibiotics and then sent to us by China. I am wondering just what will be the catalyst or final insult to our well-being that will finally rouse the people to action, or if it will be too late by then.

An activist group advocating legal immigration paths into the United States wants an investigation into the nation's failure to enforce what immigration laws it already has.
"Presidents do not get to decide which laws they will or will not enforce on behalf of their big business friends. That's what kings do, not presidents. If our existing laws go un-enforced, then we no longer live in a functioning Republican for which our flag stands," he said.
Gheen, in an earlier analysis of the issue of illegal aliens, said the issue isn't all that complicated.
"Simply put, America needs to enforce existing laws," he said. "Political and media pundits are constantly expounding upon our need to send the right messages to terrorists. Why is it then that many of those same pundits send the wrong message to illegal aliens?"
Gheen, who is president of ALIPAC and also serves as a legislative assistant in North Carolina, said that there are laws imposing fines on employers who hire illegal aliens.
However, "all fines against employers for hiring illegal aliens had ceased by 2004, under directives from the Bush administration," Gheen said. "Recenthigh profile raids have excluded charges against employers."
Gheen also said there are laws regarding the apprehension of illegal aliens, and their detention. But, he said, "Border Patrol agents are operating under instructions to only Catch and Release and do not pursue."
"Under these directives, it would not matter if we had half a million U.S. Border Patrol agents deployed," he said. "Bush has opened our borders through regulatory means. The Border Patrol has their hands tied and are not really stopping anyone from crossing illegally into the U.S."
Further, businesses that might make money from the illegal alien population are being tacitly encouraged to do so, with an absence of crackdowns on credit card offers, home loan proposals and other promotions specifically targeting illegals, ALIPAC said.
And after Congress demanded that 700 new miles of fencing be added to the border, the "Bush administration stripped the funding from the plan and built only a few miles of fencing!" ALIPAC said.
"Under these conditions, the deliberations of Congress, the votes of Congress, the elections, and the votes of all Americans have been nullified by executive orders," Gheen said. "These actions by the White House, combined with recent revelations about the [Security and Prosperity Partnership] and North American Community are alarming. Until Congress can restore the Republic and assure that laws that are passed will be enforced, there is no need for future legislation."
Gheen's schedule this week includes meetings with members of Congress in Washington to discuss the organization's request for investigations.
"ALIPAC believes that enforcement of our existing laws would eventually and significantly reduce the number of illegal aliens residing in America," ALIPAC said. "The current illegal immigration crisis in America is being created by the non-enforcement of existing laws.
"Correcting the situation would begin to reverse the flow of illegal aliens with more leaving than entering," the group said.
In Gheen's earlier explanation of his solution, he said while illegal immigration probably never will be stopped completely, it could be reversed easily.
He said the message the U.S. needs to send is that it "is not open, accommodating, or receptive to those [who] disrespect our laws and citizenry by entering as illegal aliens."
"The four things we must do are: (1). Secure our borders. (2.) Crack down on employers that intentionally hire illegal labor. (3.) Remove all benefits such as licenses, in-state tuition, and welfare for illegal aliens. (4.) Empower local police to enforce immigration law," Gheen said.
"Broad consensus exists for these measures, as multiple national and local polls show over 80 plus percent support for each one," he said.
"Mexican nationals caught entering the U.S. should not be dropped off just across the border so they can try again the next night. They should be detained, identified, told that a second crossing attempt is a felony. They should then handed over to the Mexican government to be returned to their homes," he said.
"A congressional inquiry is needed to ascertain why these insane and useless directives are in place and why most of the border sensor technology the taxpayers have paid for is not in place or operational," he said.
As WND has reported, a comprehensive immigration plan proposed in the U.S. Senate recently failed by a significant margin as tens of thousands of U.S. citizens called expressing opposition.
The plan would have set up a legal status for the estimated 12-20 million illegal aliens in the United States and included what the White House described as a large commitment of billions of dollars to secure the border and enforce the nation's existing laws against illegal entry.
Opponents, however, dubbed it an amnesty plan for illegals, and it never was able to shake that moniker.
I sent the above details to both of my Senators, two CA Congressmen and to Senator Obama (as he wants his daughters to grow up with lots of illegals).
I have asked for an investigation because I think this shows treason - purposely skirting the law?
Please call, Fax and send letters asking for an investigation into why:
"Political and media pundits are constantly expounding upon our need to send the right messages to terrorists. Why is it then that many of those same pundits send the wrong message to illegal aliens?"
However, "all fines against employers for hiring illegal aliens had ceased by 2004, under directives from the Bush administration," Gheen said. "Recenthigh profile raids have excluded charges against employers."
There is another point that it is critical for all to realize. It is the concept of Republican and Democrat has become nothing more than another distraction to divide us and keep the truth disguised. The two brands of politicians now operating are Globalist and American and both cross all party lines. Ron Paul and Tom T, Duncan Hunter are examples of Americans. Bush, Clinton, Gore and Cheney are examples of Globalists. Please allow me to correct the above link. This is the link that will tell you who is who at the top and from the beginning: http://www.augustreview.com/issues/globalization/the_global_elite%3a_who_are_they?_200511146/
Radical environmentalism has been one of the biggest and most productive tools for stripping us of our property rights and bringing us into alignment with the UN Agenda 21. Here is a page that is an excellent introduction to the topic of UN Biospheres and the astonishing progress the globalists have made toward removing land from the hands of citizens: http://www.citizenreviewonline.org/june_2003/why.htm
And finally, this link: http://www.povn.com/rdows/ will get you to the banned dog breed list. Did you know that the Humane Society originated in Nazi Germany for the purpose of exterminating the German Shepard? Such dogs are just too protective of their owners to suit tyrants. Neither the National Humane Society nor PETA have or support animal shelters? They seize and kill pets.
We have very, very little time to awaken the people around us to the truth. At you will learn by reading the article on the August Review, we will not get any help from the so-called news media.

That's funny Blaze and AZ.1.....Everyone should keep in mind if Bush is impeached and Cheney dies....."Pew-lousey" would be President. If "Billary" is somehow elected..."Willy-Jeff" will be the first "first man." Then he'll sahshay around the globe struting like a peacock after his wife makes him a US ambassador. If you have a chance read "Slick Willy and theContributors" on this web site.
"Think American. Buy American. Be American." "Opinions aren't always truths." "A trusted shephard can lead the flock to slaughter."
