From the article:

"The retaliation and the fallout is going to sink McCain's candidacy," said another campaign insider, not ID'd when discussing internal matters. "It's the saddest thing I've ever witnessed in politics."

Wonder if he was around Ted so much he thought he had a political bull dozer like Kennedy's? Kennedy owns his while McCain was invited to sit in the seat.  I doubt if he'll recognize any time soon that he's been intentionally thrown off and is about to be run over.

I figured he'd be a gonner right after the first debate when he supported the comprehensive immigration policy.  Everyone already knew how he felt about Iraq, but immigration was the hot topic that week, and when we heard that...my husband and I looked at each other and both said "he's toast"!

I think immigration has always been the hot topic with We The People.   The meeeeeedia  kept saying it was Iraq.  If they had talked about immigration as much as they did Iraq, Iraq would bein the background  just like they allowed immigration to stay in the background.

Good night, Bob-Boy. Is dog catcher entirely out of the question? Oh, right. I didn't think so.
