<> Got sick listening to the first segment, however I laughed my butt off with his 'clintoness' excuses that Queen Hitlery uses today!.....but Laura is good...made me feel better but then we got another problem.....
Send your emails and start calling on this bogus Ag Bill!
Through the month of June it was imperative for all of us to focus on killing S.1348. There are too many other issues now for us to get behind. The AG Bill is on the list and I have written my Congressman about it.
I have written about the Social Security bill
My main focus is H.C.R. 40 and H.R. 1999. Others may have other priorities depending where they live.
GET CONGRESS ATTENTION! CHANGE YOUR W-4 AT WORK AND CLAIM 10 DEPENDENTS SO NO TAXES WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOUR PAYCHECK. WHEN THE MONEY STOPS COMING IN MAYBE THEY WILL REMEMBER THEY ARE SERVANTS TO WE THE PEOPLE.

Apparently hispanic interest groups are touring the country to advocate for changed legislation for illegal immigrants. Their strategy since the defeat of the recent amnesty bill appears to be to change laws locally as well as continue to fight for federal changes. They continue to fight on, thinking that their opponents are inactive since the bill's defeat.
I posted recently a story out of New Jersey where illegal immmigrants there are working to introduce local laws that would give them drivers' licenses and work benefits.
Today, I got a story out of Wisconsin where the Voces de la frontera spoke before a forum on behalf of enacting illegal-friendly legislation. Here it is:
Advocates for immigration reform hold open discussion
By Charles Menchaca For the Marshfield News-Herald
Although the nation's government is not eager to change America's immigration policies, one group encouraged discussion of the issue in Wausau.
Voces de la Frontera presented information Friday and had immigrants share their stories in front of 23 people at the First Universalist Unitarian Church, 504 Grant St. The Milwaukee-based group, aka Voices from the Border, is on a 10-city tour in Wisconsin to gather support for immigration reform and foster discussion about the issue.
One reason immigrants come to the United States is because of the North American Free Trade Agreement, said Christine Neumann-Ortiz, the group's executive director.
Neumann-Ortiz said NAFTA, enacted on Jan. 1, 1994, devastated Mexico's economy and displaced farmers. People suffered and came to the United States looking for work, she said.
Among them was Wausau resident Maria McCarthy. She is a staff member at Latinos Unidos, which provides assistance to Latinos in Marathon County.
Before coming to Wausau in 1997, McCarthy made $30 a week working in Mexico. She took classes to learn English and expects to become a nurse next year.
McCarthy, 36, said she is authorized to work in the country and pays taxes.
"I'm not a criminal, I've never been a criminal," McCarthy said.
Audience member Jose Rios spoke on behalf of Comunidad Hispana, or the Hispanic Community, an organization from Merrill.
Immigrants do not want to change American culture; they simply would rather be woven into its fabric, he said.
No opposing views were voiced during the forum, Neumann-Ortiz said. Some audience members at other tour stops this week openly opposed immigration, she said.
After the forum, Voces de la Frontera made an impromptu visit to U.S. Rep. Dave Obey's Wausau office. The group went with some of the audience members and repeated its message for Doug Hill, Obey's District 7 director.
Hill said Obey is aware of the issue but has not taken a formal stance on immigration reform.
"I hope that he takes a position on the issue," Neumann-Ortiz said.
Did you see something strange in that post about the meetings. That would be that although the nations government is not eager to change immigration policy. Could it be that the American people do no want to change immigration policy. Off our asses folks they are coming head first.
TEXAS: One of the few states that can secede from the Union.
The enemy within (as Michael Savage says), will do what ever the freak they need to displace the good with their evil!
My two Senator's (in Hawaii) are 'the Greatest Generation' but they are evil as evil is -- which I let them know -- how can you not only fight for your right as Asians in America but for freedom of our country and the World...and then legislate that same fight you did in WWII away.....
These invaders along with the MSM, Big/Small Business, and Fed/Local/State bought officials have concluded they need to change course to pose like us real American's so they can appeal to the dumbed down sector they were surprised didn't show up to their party over this shamnesty bill!
QueMan -- Proud American on guard for any group like Liberals, KKK, AlQueda or the like trying to pose like normal concerned American's...!!!
I saw the agjobs warning on the article about that illegal activist holding up in a church I think. Not sure. But it warned that dear Feinstein will hide it in something else for agriculture. Perhaps it was an email. Ive been reading so much lately it all tends to blend together...lol.
I do think the agreement such as NAFreeTrade agreement has had an impact on the reason so many multitudes of illegals are comming here. I do think their government is encouraging them also. But I see the horrible danger in that influx. You cant tell whos running drugs in the midst and you wont even if they come out of the dark. Thats something that, now that its here, will have to show up in time as they get caught. Any reform would prevent us even further from deporting even drug smugglers. We already have the left and the right giving them way more rights then they are entitled to.
Yes they are blaze. They have adapted. They are realizing that the marching and carrying signs agitated us, so now they will take the legal channel, which is more dangerous. With liberals in our courts and government it will give them alot of headway. Ive been calling my state officials to inquire about what our policies are and will do it again on Monday. I want to pressure them to think of citizens first.
Did anyone see Anderson Cooper's 360 last night on immigration? He focused on an Arizona city that has is enforcing immigration laws by penalizing employers who knowingly hire illegals. Anderson's pov was so apparent--"aren't you afraid you'll run businesses away?" But the official held is ground and dismissed Anderson efficiently by responding that AZ is the fastest growing state in the US and any jobs vacated by illegals would easily find replacements in American citizen population. He went on to point out that he is not making any new laws but only enforcing the laws we have. Anderson again tried to weaken him by pointing out that because the unemployment rate is so low, it wouldn't hurt to use illegals. Again the official held his ground by saying that we can't break the law on a case by case basis, that if the economy plummeted then what? and hiring illegals only invites more illegals and encourages more employers to go after cheap labor. Cooper's story was very one sided, and he presented examples that supported illegals (and they were anomalies). The anti-Lou Dobbs.
Lou Dobbs, by the way, will appear on 60 minutes this weekend.
Here is another story about a city standing firm on illegal immigration. Note the Mexican opposition groups--I've provided links to their websites.
Prince William County (Map, News) - The showdown over illegal immigration in Prince William County this week has been a tour de force of rival civic groups in Northern Virginia trying to change local and federal laws to suit their agendas.
Groups marshaled advocates on both sides of a resolution designed to deny public services to illegal immigrants.
The County Board unanimously approved elements of the original proposal Tuesday and directed county staff to study how to put the rest into action.
Help Save Manassas has evolved from a few dozen residents angry illegal immigrants were jeopardizing their quality of life into a juggernaut of 500 members pushing the county to act on measures deemed among the toughest in the nation.
The group told supervisors they would no longer accept the notion that local government cannot enact tougher policies, said Supervisor John Stirrup, the proposal’s author. “Folks don’t care about that anymore, they want action.”
The organization was “indispensable,” Chairman Corey Stewart said, demonstrating the public was behind the plan.
“We got pretty much everything we wanted,” said Greg Letiecq, the group’s leader.
But their success led Hispanic organizations to respond. Alarmed that Latinos would be treated differently, longtime Prince William County residents worked with newcomers to create a large opposition presence through El Pueblo Unido and Mexicanos Sin Fronteras.Voces de la frontera
“I don’t see a white [county] employee asking a person with blue eyes and white skin for proof of residence,” said Ricardo Juarez, a leader for Mexicanos Sin Fronteras in Prince William County.
Opponents significantly outnumbered supporters during the Tuesday meeting in the county administration building.
Groups say they will continue to push their message as the county develops guidelines on how the resolution will be enforced.
There are so many grassroot initiatives that it makes my heart beat faster.....We as American's have the God given right as stated in our Constitution that ensures we control this country not some elitist....and as we read in our history books it was our 'grassroot ancestors' who rebelled from the elitist that gave us America today....we owe them so much and now we are paying them back -- NEVER GIVE UP!!!

They are in the thread titled:
Bills to write senators/reps about
I just bumped it back to the top of the menu.
I think this AG bill is in that thread also. I know it was discussed before.
