Heads up, possibly more Tainted Pet Food

My mother has two Rag Doll cats, one older and a Kitten that were happy and good as can be one day. Next day the kitten was sick and throwing up. Soon there after it couldn't walk so it went to the Vet to get checked out....Some sorta test shows high levels of something that would have been in the food.

 Now the Older Rag Doll is showing the same signs and is at the Vets for testing.

Vet says the only thing she can figure is the FOOD.

Pet food ingredients are so out sourced who knows if this isn't another test to figure out what else they can Taint to start harming Americans.

 Why we Sell our Grown in the USA Goods to other countries and buy crap from China and Mexico is beyong me....It is going to end up on the Dinner Table soon if something is NOT Done to stop companies from buying Cheap Goods from 3rd World Countries that really don't like US.

I agree with you about sourcing anything from China, especially, (a country that has absolutely no respect for life),   or from anywhere else.  The USA  produces the best of everything.

I put a flea collar and some sargeants gold flea medicine on my boxer in the picture on the 4th and he had a violent reaction to one of them, Muscle spasms and could not walk. I guess it is tainted with something as well.

fortunately my vet was in the office and we were able to get him flushed out and he appears to be ok now. Vet said he probably would not have made it without the IV fluids to flush him out. He is our best buddy that is one of the grandkids with him.

Well the Food in Question was Nine Lives Classic Dinner (canned)  and Purina Indoor (dry). The older Rag Doll is looking better but the Vet advise to put the Kitten Down........$500.00 for Kitten to pay more to have it Put Down becauce some company buys cheap crap from China.

When does this stuff end up In Imfamil, maybe Fred Flintstone's Vitamines....Kill us off one at a time from the craddle to the grave.

America didn't Export everything grown here and buy cheap tainted crap until the last 20 years......Now they are spending us Poison in return for our helping them out.

Time to stop the sell out of America as those that don't like US are testing the waters by killing our pets.....What Next?

                             I've never seen the logic in doing business with a country that has very recently made not so veiled threats against the health and welfare of this country. Did we do business with Communist Russia during the cold war.  China regardless of the spineless assumptions of some is very much a threat and refuses to give up their Communist ideology. The massive amount of U.S. dollars are being used to improve their military might, not improve conditions in China itself.  It is high time we ended this foolishness.

The American nation used to have the best GNP figures in the world. All on the backs of the American workers. Now, there are no manufacturing industries to speak of. And most of what we do have imports parts from China, et al. Where are our steel mills, tool and dye cutting,  and other industries our fathers and friends worked at? When there is no more industry at all in this country, who will be able to buy even these foreign goods? The rich and famous do not eat at fast food restaurants, but I guess we could wash dishes in a Mexican or Chinese restaurant at minimum wage. That will do a lot to boost the economy which they say is so great!

This country has become too big for our know-nothings in Congress to assess accurately. So, let's add to the population. Let's outsource more businesses. Let's continue to allow Congress to pad their pockets at our expense. Soon, nothing will be left and they will have to resort to selling off our land piece by piece. We have been put at the mercy of the world!

Karsten, I'm very sorry to hear about your mother's cats.  I too have had a cat that was affected by the tainted pet food.  She was old, but it hastened her death.  We now have two cats we got from a shelter and I'm feeding them Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet for kittens and Maximum for kittens.  So far, so good.

What worries me more is the stuff we don't know about because our government ignores it and isn't doing its job.

 Mz, I agree with you totally.  However, without content labeling, we can't always know.  Best thing to do is to buy produce locally, meats also if you can, and stay away from additives and preservatives if at all possible.  Buy raw and make your own if you have the time; such as orange juice from oranges you buy instead of carton orange juice with vitamin C added - all vitamin C comes from China now, etc.
