If I was a billionaire who had made a fortune from being in America, I would give it two Fences.. One on the northern border and One on the southern border.

Good fences as we all know make good neighbors

.

If I was President or head of Homeland Security or the Attorney General, I would give it enforcement of the laws.

We are a nation of laws. The law is what protects the rights of one citizen from being infringed on by another

.

If I was the Secretary of Defense I would give our country a real secure border.

Securing the property and lives of the citizens of our country is after all the job of the Department of Defense.

If I was the governor of any of the 50 states, I would give the country 5000 members of my state National Guard to place at intervals along the border as ARMED defenders ready to use force to stop any illegal invasion of our country.

It is the purpose of the militias, and the national guard are militias, To join in any effort by one state to stop invasion from foreign invasion. Each of the states owes this to the others.

Because I am but a humble citizen with no power to order these things, I will give my country my concerns, and will do my best to pass those concerns along to my fellow citizens.

It is the duty of each citizen to participate in the national debate, and to try to convince our elected representative leaders to lead as the citizens wish

.

48th Ronin, Beautifully said. And I too, will pass these concerns to anyone who will listen. I will continue to call and write Congress. I will continue to live to see that this great Republic survives.

I agree 48th Ronin. We as citizens can give her every ounce of our blood, sweat, and tears. She deserves our every effort to support her against those that mean her ill from within and without.  It isn't a duty, but an honor to fight for her continued survival to me. God truly bless America and everyone in these forums who fights for her.

Jason.....excellent points! You too Ronin!

"We do need to play by the rules. The people affilitated with NCLR, etc. will let emotions get the best of them and will put their feet into their own mouths by their actions. Just look at the demonstrations and the way the people act. What we need to do is outsmart all of them. We have the brainpower. We need to operate as a cohesive, unified, smart group." I would give my Country:

1.  A new President, and complete Administration

2.  46 new Senators and

3.  A bill passed into law taking Federal Funds away from Sanctuary cities.

4. A new Mayor in Los Angeles

5.  A slew of new Congressmen

and all of the things Ronin and Jason said!

I would give my Country back to herself, so that she could rein free under her constitution and her laws as deemed by her legal citizens.

"Duty, honor, country: Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be. They are your rallying point to build courage when courage seems to fail, to regain faith when there seems to be little cause for faith, to create hope when hope becomes forlorn."    General Douglas MacArthur

Time to Rally!  Our nation, Constitution, and way of life are worth the effort.
