Homeland Security Chief, Michael Chertoff, remarked a few minutes ago how hard it was going to be to tell people in the border towns of Texas that there would be fencing and technology towers.

He said the complaints about it would be overwhelming, and he went on to say that citizens would have to join him to explain to the complainers about building the fencing and placing the towers.  The complaints were from ranchers and people in border towns and others who said the towers would ruin their view of the landscape...

Oh, my.  I am sure there would be plenty of volunteers to go with Chertoff to those border areas to explain about the laws that have been passed about the fences, etc.......to those complaining citizens...Minutemen will go...

People living on the border do not have a veto over protecting the border, especially when the people they want to let come through their towns and property end up in my city, costing me higher property taxes to pay for illegals' education, medical care, and public welfare.

NOT A PROBLEM!   We'll tell them.

I SERIOSLY doubt the compainers are on the TEXAS side!  I am pretty sure they don't care for the "VIEW OF THE LANDSCAPE" they have right now.  Illegal aliens leaving garbage, human waste, etc on their property.

I think the "COMPLAINERS are on the MEXICAN SIDE.

Life's a bitch isn't it Chertoff.

If Chertoff cannot handle the job replace him! We the people have spoken and we demand results...not lip service. Also, as far as Kennedy spewing his ridiculous claims of people being racist....he can go pack sand. We all know this is only a claim that people with no argument use to try to get their way. However, we here at firesociety represent all sorts of ethnic backgrounds (black, white, hispanic, asian, etc.). We all came together in a united fashion and made things happen together. That is what America and being an assimilated U.S. Citizen is all about!

Ain't that the truth!!  I emailed Bush again and asked what treasonous acts he's going to try to pull on us next...the North American Union?  I told him to go ahead ... I dare him, and added "what are you gonna do Georgie?  Throw me in one of your concentration camps!!"  Hubby's got my bail all lined up, along with some wire cutters!!!!  LOL!!

One of the complainers on the Texas side is the mayor of Laredo. Of course, you can take a look at Mayor Raul Salinas and realize where his real sympathies lie.

And the best way to do that is for Congress to withhold all federal funds from cities and county governments that refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement officials on all matters of law enforcement, including immigration enforcement. Call your senator and representative.

Chertoff is such a liar! I wish he would stop spinning the truth.

Here is the truth: What the ranchers are mainly complaining about is the fence will run through the middle of their property. (Personally I would be complaining and yelling too! And so would you)

The ranchers are desperate down there because the illegal aliens break in, they also rob them, destroy their property, etc.....

The ranchers have only REQUESTED that they have input in the location of the fence on their property. That is not a lot to ask. They were told it would cost more money because more fencing would be required to do it that way and if they wanted it they would have to pay for the extra fencing at the edge of their property! In the sum of 2 million dollars. Come one you know those ranchers do not have that kind of money! And we know it will not cost that much.

However, the King will not allow it. Again just for another f*cking excuse not to build it!

Instead of the fence going totally through the middle of their property they would like to have them build the fence at the edge of their property (sort of like putting up a fence in your back yard - makes sense right?). What is wrong with that? NOTHING. You know that is the least they could do is build the fence for them at the edge of the property considering their lives are threatened everyday by illegal alien invaders and drug cartels!

However, you will not here out of the Jack Asses mouth that is really is what is going on.

Why is Chertoff saying this now?  Is it because he knows that if the vote had gone differently there would absolutely not be any building of the fence?  He knows that the admininstration would not have kept their promises for security.  These people are despicable and will not accept the will of the people.  Patriots should ready themselves for the next battle because these "leaders" will not (too much corporate billions driving them) relent in their drive to achieve a North American Union.

I will help tell those people we are putting up a fence.  I am as sorry about your view of the landscape as you are about what the illegals who are coming through your area into mine.  Depressing wages.  Taking our jobs.  Devaluing our property.  Overcrowding our schools.  Collapsing our social services.  Straining our Justice system.  Disributing their drugs.  Raping our children.

I would like to add IF YOU ARE LEGAL to all of the WELCOME TO OKLAHOMA signs coming into our state.

That has been taken care of with Tom Tancredo's amendment to the homeland security appropriations passed in the House just a couple of weeks ago.  It still has to go through the Senate (with a veto proof margin) and layed on the Presidents desk.  I have not been able to find the bill number though.  We will have to push another lobby to Senators to support this bill with the amendment in place.

Kakdesign Cheroff needs to visit the border towns down there. I worked there as a Gringo for 2.5 years. the ones who complain are the Mexicans who were given land on the Rio Grande eons ago. Native born Latinos down there can't find a job because the illigals are taking them away. What a bunch of Horse Manure!

Chernoff is another Bush poodle!!

All this talk of passing this bill would be the only way to secure our borders and now they are whining about having to build fences!!  Seems they lied about securing them in the first place!

This is the same SOB that defies the ADA and allows the stores in his town to close their bathrooms and will not let anyone use them not even a handicaped person.  I had a very unpleasant experience in Laredo not too long ago. My handicapped wife that walks with two canes needed to go to the bathroom and we were in a store in Laredos downtown area. We had a large basket of clothing that we were going to purchase when my wife asked where the bathroom was. We were informed that the stores in the downtown area did not have public bathrooms and the only place that would allow the public access to restrooms was the HEB grocery store which was about 4 blocks away. She tried to enter the bathroom of the store and was shoved back by two ladies that told her again she could not use the bathroom, she created quite a scene in the store and a lot of people left the store. We did not buy what we had and will never go back to that area again. This town really likes the Illegals so they can shit on them and take their money. She did make it to the bathroom by the hair of her chinny chin chin. Please don't shop in downtown Laredo Tx.

If you do find the bill number will you please mail me with the number and post it as well. I will certainly campaign for it, I think this sanctuary issue should be a legal issue not a moral issue as its now being painted by the supporters of illegal immigration.

I'd be willing to post my phone number for the "overwhelming" complainers to call. However, there won't be any "push 2 for Spanish" so most will be SOL.
