We need 40 NO votes to beat this cloture vote. Instead, we got 53! 18 Senators who vote YES on amnesty cloture on Tuesday switched to NO today! You all are absolutely amazing. -- ROY

Oh MY! Kaksdesign and all you others like Bugsygirl, FeathersFlying, Sungadan, K Zack, GailM, ............. Bobby..(Steve! Roy Beck!).. so many hard workers, thanks and NOW do we have something even more to celebrate this 4th of July or not!!!????? I'll happily admit, besides calling and faxing early this morning, I did a lot of praying!!

And oh! watch the bad demonstrations from the criminal illegals at various parades!! YOU can BET they will be there. Excellent time for ICE to arrest!! After all, these illegals are law breakers!

Congradulations to everyone who sent faxes and called their congress. Now is  the time to work at getting legislation to require businesses to match social security cards of new hires and existing employees with the social securitiy adminstrations database. This is the one piece of ID that you cannot get legally without being a citizen. They can get forgeries and I have seen them, but you run a check on the card and you can tell if it is fake when  someone elses name is attached to it or it is invalid or it was even issued before they were born or it has multiple names associated with it. When you see one of these flags on the online check you can call SS and they will let you know if the person exists or not. This will lead to self deportation and considerably slow down the influx of illegals into this country. There are only so many "under the counter jobs" and if we keep them out of the legitimate workforce they won't stay.

HARD WORK AND DEDICATION TO A GREAT CAUSE JUST  CAN'T BE BEATEN. WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR THE IDIOTS IN WASHINGTON TO UNDERSTAND THAT WE THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN AND WE WON'T  LET YOU MAKE DECISIONS FOR US, THAT WE DO NOT AGREE WITH.

ALL POLITICS ARE LOCAL ISSUES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO EACH OF US. REMEMBER THE TRAITORS THAT VOTED AGAINST YOUR INTEREST AND YOUR WISH'S AND REMOVE THEM FROM OFFICE AT THE NEXT ELECTION, WHEN THEY HOPE YOU FORGET ABOUT THIS FIASCO.

WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to savor the flavor of success after all our efforts. This bill would have already been passed if it weren't for all of you folks that pulled together and made your voices heard... LOUDLY!

But I'm sure they'll be back. They're not used to having the people in their faces. I'm sure they are hoping the American people will go back to watching reality TV, American Idol, Nascar and wrestling and leave the running of the country to them.

 P.S. By the way, I never watched any of that kind of stuff on TV. Heck, I don't watch ANY television programming.

Well, I never watched any of those things anyway.  Unless we continue to be in their face, the defeat of this bill today is not going to change anything.  We must continue to pressure them into enforcing current law.

Stop being complacent when you see workers anywhere you think are illegal.  Call ICE and SS.

Bush got spanked and so did the rest of the amnesty pushers!  Yeah for the grass root citizens!  When Bush spoke this morning he looked like he had been sent out behind the wood shed!  This time it was the bull whip that got cracked!  Wake up Bush you're done, we stuck a fork in it!  Next?  We must force them to enforce our current immigration laws!  Go after the employers of these illegal aliens... Push them right on out of our country!  We must show them that the American citizens demand that this country remain the United States of America!  A Republic, governed by Democratic institutions with the citizens enforcing that concept according to the U.S. Constitution!  Bush needs a lesson on the fact that it isn't just a GD piece of paper!  We also need to push the fact that the 14th amendment doesn't give automatic citizenship to anchor babies!  They are not citizens of the U.S. and never were!

Well,now that "WE THE PEOPLE " have won this battle, we must remember that the war is not over ! We must get these traitours low lifes out of office!
