I VOTED FOR IT BEFORE I VOTED AGAINST IT

We expect the Democrats to support Amnesty/Immigration Reform because Ted Kennedy is sponsoring the bill.  We are grateful to the handful of Democrats who have not.

 

We expect more from our Republican Senators, however.  These are the ones who voted for cloture/amnesty Tuesday 6/26/07 when they had an opportunity to kill the bill.  Probably half will vote NO on the bill when the rubber meets the road in the morning, (I am optimistic) but we should not forget them.

In the same vein, if you're from Arkansas, go after PRYOR. He stated he would vote no on cloture this time but didn't. He can be swayed to vote against it tomorrow. Go after them all and push as hard as you can.

I think Pryor could be pursuaded too.  He hasn't been in Washington very long.  I do not know how deep he is into the Tyson/OKFoods/Cargill pockets.

I am in Oklahoma, but I have been going after all of them.  Whatever they do in Washington affects me the same as it does those in their state who may or may not have voted for them.

Agreed. Pryor had the guts to vote against the first cloture. His office is always decent to me when I call. He does listen but at times to the wrong people. I call all the others, too. Thanks for the posting of this as it is critical that we act on this tonight and in the morning. I want Reid to remain "Stuck."

I just realized I failed to mention.  The highlighted names on the above list are facing re election next year.  After we get the results of the vote tomorrow, we can identify the ones who saw the light and moved over to our side.

How can you trust any of them to do what they say they are going to do? The ones on the list and are coming up for re-election in Nov. 08 Don't take any chances with them, vote them all out. That will send a loud and clear message to  the ones remaining, that we the people mean what we say They are employed by we the people and we can fire them for not doing what we tell them that we want them to do.

These are the Senators who had an opportunity to kill the bill and didn't but came over to OUR side in the end.  They probably need to be watched.
